Not My Baby

Not My Baby
24. Marry her

Loneliness ...

Not a single sound could dispel the sense of loneliness in his life ...

The room that was once warm due to the presence of its people now felt cold after they all left from there.

Viona was unable to lift her weakly lying body on the cold floor, it had been a week since her departure from the Davendra residence and left her son there. During that time Viona did not even move from her contract.

The purpose of life has been lost to swallow food alone he can not, his body as if preparing to enjoy the process of death that gradually gnawed at him.

"Aruna, Arka, I miss you guys." Viona's voice sounded very soft, tears seemed to be endless flowing through her cheeks that day after day increasingly tapered.

Davendra rested his body on the back of the chair where he worked, not in the office but now his work is always completed at home every day. She was very worried about Arka's condition, her son always cried when his eyes opened as if he knew that there was no more Viona he would see when he opened his eyes.

The baby's body is getting thinner because of crying too often, even a few days ago they were forced to take Arka to the hospital because the baby had a fever.

Haaa...

Dave let out a long sigh, everything changed after Viona's departure.

How's the lady doing?

Is he eating well?

Many times Dave tries to get rid of her thoughts about Viona, but it's too hard. The woman never disappeared from her head.

"Argh! Shit!"

The sound of Arka's crying again sounded from outside, it seemed like the baby was waking up and crying again. Dave moved from his place rather than sitting there better help his mother take care of Arka who is fussy now.

"Hush still?"

Dave sat down on the sofa next to Winata, apparently his son was back to sleep.

"My grandson is getting thinner day by day," Winata patted his grandson's back softly.

"Hm."

Dave knows that too, so what should they do? Bring Viona back? It seemed impossible as he remembered very well how their conversation was last time back then.

There was no actual purpose she also did not matter if Viona became Arka's mother, it was just that the current conditions were not supportive. Viona was not ready yet, even the woman looked shabby from working as a waitress at the party back then how could she be the mother of Arka?

"You need to bring Viona back as soon as you can." He can take care of Arka alone, but who would have the heart if he heard the baby continues to cry every time?

"He won't."

"I apologize to him! Then persuade to return."

That easy? Dave snorted where it might be that easy.

"Viona can't keep living with Arka ma'am."

"Why?" Winata.

"Of course because she's a woman, she'll get married and have a family later. How can he continue with Arka?" Dave unconsciously raised his voice when talking about how the future of Viona will be.

"You marry her."

"A-WHAT? I stopped joking!" Married to Viona? Where possible! But why is his heart beating like this?

"Here you go, find a way to get Viona back to this house."

Winata wakes up from his seat with Arka, leaving Dave alone there with his mind branching off.

Again James can only resigned while stroking the chest, why when the Master had problems with women he had to be dragged too?

As of now he had been almost five hours waiting for signs of human existence in the contract a patch ahead there, don't even come out of there he didn't see any signs of life from there.

The cell phone in his pocket rang in the square and it was Davendra's name. It didn't take long for James to pick it up and put his phone to his ear.

"Yes Sir?"

"How's it?" Dave was still on the family room couch in his house, after his conversation with his mother he just stayed there without wanting to move on a bit.

"There is no sign of master, I am a little worried about Viona's situation" James said, saying he was also worried about Davendra's anxiety.

Dave closed his eyes, how long will the woman hide in his rented? It's been a week but since he ordered James to watch over Viona, the girl has never been out of the house at all.

"Wait there, I'll catch up after seeing Arka."

The man immediately disconnected his phone then he went to his son's room to see his condition.

"He's not crying anymore?" Dave approached his mother. Thankfully because her son did not cry back like before, Arka was asleep in her grandmother's arms, the baby's face looked swollen from crying for too long.

"I'll go first, ma'am,"

"You want to go? What if Arka cries again? He's already lost his mother don't add up to losing his father too!" Winata glanced sharply at Dave, if only his son was not the father of his grandson then he had been sure he would throw away the arrogant man.

"Not going to." The answer is sure, but unfortunately the woman who had given birth to him did not believe in the words of her own son.

"As far as you are, you're not in need here anyway." Dave rolled his eyeballs lazily as his mother re-roasted him.

"Mom will be surprised when I get home."

"Go quickly! Arka will wake up because she heard your voice." Ketus

Sometimes Dave wonders if it's true that Vienna is his birth mother? if so, why does she love to vilify her own son?

Not wanting to get angry from Dave's mother to go straight from there to catch up with James, the only way to get her mother back to her normal state is to bring Viona back to this house as soon as possible.

"I'm leaving."

.

A few minutes later Dave was at the place where James was watching Viona these days, the handsome man occasionally covered his nose with a handkerchief he always carried in his pocket.

"Boss you can't be too honest like that." James was offended, after all it was wrong who put it here for days without being allowed to leave in the slightest?

"No sign either?" Dave stood a little distance away from James so that the smell of his assistant was not too pungent in his nose.

"There's not yet." James replied with a grumbling on his lips.

Where exactly did Viona go? Why has that woman never been out of her contract to date?

"Come there, we'll see him in person." There was no other way but to meet the woman directly at this moment. James agreed, rather than having to suffer here a few more days is better to just meet right away?

The two men walked towards the rented Viona stay, until there they directly knocked on her door quite loudly.

Several times knocking no sign of people will open the door from the inside, as a result of too parno James and Dave trying to break the wooden door. Fortunately before breaking through, Viona finally opened her rented door.

Viona's current appearance is very bad, the face is tangled and puffy, the eye bags are blackened, even the woman's body looks much thinner than before. It's a lot worse than James who hasn't had a bath in a week.

"You guys?"
