Oh My Jasson

Oh My Jasson
A honeymoon?

Both Jasson's eyes blinked due to the sunlight that washed the windows of his room. Again, he did not find Kimmy next to him when he woke up. Jasson looked for Kimmy and asked the waiter who was busy with his work in the kitchen. The same answer he got from Katty's aunt, that Kimmy had left half an hour ago.

"Why did he leave so early yesterday?"  Jasson, who was in the kitchen, returned to her room to prepare to go to the office.

***

In the office, Jasson seemed busy with his work. Some files were seen strewn across his desk, but the man was seen out of focus shortly after looking at a portrait of Kimmy with Jesslyn stored in his mobile gallery, he only has one photo of Kimmy that he deliberately took from the story of his twin brother.

The excitement seemed to ambush the look of the man's face, clearly visible when he repeatedly leaned his back on the back of the chair while holding his head up, above, both of his eyes stared blankly at the ceiling of his study room with accents of ancient lights.

Both of Jasson's eyes were briefly shut after he heard a knock from the door outside his room. With a lazy voice, Jasson allowed anyone to go in there.

Harry was walking with a face full of enthusiasm and was overtaken by Alea from behind. It felt like Jasson was very lazy to receive guests that afternoon, rather, he was very lazy to waste his energy just to talk.

"What are you here for?" Jasson did not move his sitting position, he still leaned back and only moved his eyes which were currently watching Harry sit on his body without being told, followed by Alea who sat beside his best friend.

"We haven't had coffee together in a long time, let's have coffee together" Harry said.

"Yes, Jasson. There's no work to do anyway, let's have coffee together" Alea said.

"I don't taste."

"Come on, Jasson."

Because Harry and Alea were relentlessly forcing him, Jasson finally invited them to go for coffee together at their favorite cafe.

"What's your problem with Kimmy?" Harry asked a question shortly after taking a sip of his coffee to open up a conversation between the three of them. Alea turned her gaze towards Jasson, the woman was waiting for an answer to a question she found very interesting.

"Are you in trouble with Miss Kimmy?" timpal Alea, the woman went fishing when Jasson had not yet responded to Harry's question.

"The problem? I have absolutely no problem with Kimmy. Me and him are fine." Jasson took a sip of his coffee, which still let out the thin smoke slowly, then returned the cup he held back to its original place.

"Not yesterday you ...." Harry's words immediately faltered as Jasson stared at him with a sharp and threatening look. The man was instantly silent and did not dare to speak, until Alea's gaze now reviewed suspiciously.

"It seems, Jasson and Miss Kimmy do have a problem. I'll ask Harry directly" Alea muttered.

"Oh, yes, Alea, what about the men you like? looks like you haven't told me your secret man for a long time. Are you secretly in a relationship with him?" Jasson switched the subject after the silence broke out between the three of them.

Hearing Jasson's question, Alea's eyes became muffled. His red lips smiled bitterly.  "No. She's already owned by another woman" he replied, staring into Jasson's face.

"He already owned another woman? how come?" Jasson's forehead creased deeply, failing to digest what Alea meant.

"Yes, I think I'm out of luck. Maybe because I'm just a daughter of a villa keeper, so that's why she never saw me, when we were close," she said very heavily as if something was stuck in her chest cavity, but a bitter smile still darted on his lips despite being forced.

"It has nothing to do with your parents' work! There are many people who are much better than him. He doesn't deserve you! Forget about that guy!"

"What if I can't forget it?" said Alea, "you don't know him, Jasson. Only I know, he's a good man, not he who doesn't deserve me, but I don't deserve him." Alea lowered her gaze down, dodging the look in Jasson's eyes that were trying to read the look on his face.

"Alea, don't be sad, there are so many good men out there who deserve you." Harry stretched out both hands. "Come here, let me hug you."

"Harry, I'm not that weak. Falling in love is never wrong. You take it easy, I won't give up so easily" Alea smiled, her body warmly greeted by Harry in her arms.

"Well, this is my friend" he joked.

Both of Jasson's eyes looked at Harry in full search, as well as at Alea. "It looks like Harry is harboring a taste for Alea, I need to bring the two of them closer together."

In the hospital.

Kimmy was seen just returning to her room after a patient visit. The woman's mood today looks very improved and not chaotic as usual. Whether what made his mood suddenly improve like that, he himself did not know.

Kimmy's eyes narrowed when he found a fold of paper scratched by ink tucked between his desk. He immediately took the paper and read the writing contained in it.

I don't like it when you get close to Mark, stay away from him, or you'll know the consequences!

"Who sent this canned letter?" Kimmy shines around her room, but there is no one but herself. There's no way he went to the technician's room just to look at the CCTV and make sure the sender of the canned letter, that's ridiculous.

Kimmy ignored him, squeezing the paper and dumping it in a trash can in his reach. He took off the white shirt he was wearing and he rested on one of his arms. Then, he grabbed the bag and hooked it on the other arm of the hand before then, the woman passed away from there.

"Doctor Kimmy ...." Mark's voice momentarily stopped the footsteps of the woman who appeared to be walking in haste.

"Yes, Doctor Mark?" a smile Kimmy developed as he turned his body.

"Do you seem to be in a hurry?"

"Yes, my driver's been waiting for you, I feel sorry for him."

Mark breathed a disappointed breath. "I want to drive you home."

"That doesn't need Doctor Mark. I'm sorry to go home first." Kimmy was about to walk away, but Mark grabbed the woman's hand.

"What else is it?" Kimmy clucked in annoyance.

"Are you able to accompany me tomorrow to come to my cousin's engagement party?" ask Mark expectantly.

"Can't!" Someone suddenly threw rough Mark's hand until it escaped from the hand of Kimmy.

"Jasson?" Kimmy gasped when she saw her husband there. The sunglasses that wrapped his silver eyes, now he let go and he slipped on the buttons of the shirt he was wearing.  Until now, both of his eyes were looking at Mark with a sharp look that looks so clear.

"You really don't know shame!" cetus Jasson's. She clasped Kimmy's hand and kept him away from Mark. "You're taking a married woman to your cousin's engagement party? why don't you take your other women?" continued later.

"I really don't understand what you mean, Mr. Jasson. Which woman do you mean? What if I take your wife? I was best friends with Kimmy long before you married her! As long as her husband doesn't take her, I have the right to take her anywhere if she wants."

"After all, you're free to go anywhere with your secretary, who we don't know what you guys do around the back, and I'm really surprised, haven't you ever cared about Kimmy? and why do you suddenly care about it now? you don't even come here usually to pick her up. Are you tired of your cheating? I'm sorry, I mean your secretary?" Mark smiled slanted, filled with innuendo to make Jasson's emotions peaked because he felt unacceptable to the man's accusations.

"You ...." Jasson held back her screams as she felt furious.

"Jasson, we're leaving. Don't make a fuss here. This is a hospital!" Kimmy painstakingly pulled Jasson's hand and took her husband away from Mark. Jasson did not want to lose, he pulled Kimmy's hand and invited him to pull over to a place that was quiet.

Jasson slammed into Kimmy's body and grabbed both arms, but did not make his wife in pain. "Are you that close to her, until you told her all about our marriage? or are you also telling me about the deal we made?" jasson exclaimed, his gaze and voice sounding unfriendly and filled with emotion.

"I never told anyone about our marriage! Let alone telling Mark about the deal!" refute Kimmy.

"How did he know?"

"I don't know! Everyone has eyes, they can judge without being told!" kimmy Banged. He threw Jasson's hand out of his arm. Kimmy was about to leave, but Jasson again grabbed her hand and pulled her to walk to the car park.

"Come home with me!"

"I don't want to go home with you! Unhand me! What are you doing here anyway?" kimmy exclaimed, the woman walked in Jasson's footsteps while trying to escape from her husband's hands.

"For more if not to pick you up!" Jasson sped up his footsteps and did not let Kimmy's hand out of his.

"I don't want to go home with you!" Kimmy's refusal made Jasson's footsteps slow down.

"Why? you want to go home with that guy?" Jasson stopped his footsteps. His pretty cold gaze made Kimmy almost freeze.

"I'm going home with Uncle Alert, he's just waiting for me. Release my hand!"

"I've kicked him out, come on." Jasson said casually, he again pulled Kimmy's hand and took her to walk towards the parking lot which was only a few steps away.

"Jasson, did you kick him out?" Kimmy followed Jasson's footsteps, speeding up his path, trying to get his hands off Jasson, but his efforts were futile.

"Yes, I kicked him out. Do you want me to drive too?" he said as he looked cold. Kimmy did not dare to argue.

"Come in!" Jasson opened the car door when she and Kimmy arrived at the parking lot. But Kimmy was there, he looked at Jasson with an annoyed look, eager for the woman to curse her husband.

"What do you see?" exclaiming Jasson.

"No." Kimmy shook his head, he immediately got into the car and Jasson closed the car door as loud as possible, but Kimmy's sudden voice screamed so loudly that Jasson's steps were downcast, he frantically reopened the car door and tried to confirm his wife.

"What's wrong? why are you screaming? did the door hurt you?" tanyakanya.

"No, my clothes were just pinned by the car door" Kimmy replied innocently.

"Only your clothes are pinched?" Jasson's forehead was furrowed. Kimmy nodded her head and replied, "Yes."

"Then why are you yelling."

"It's okay, I'm just surprised."

Jasson snorted in annoyance and closed the door carefully. Then, he immediately followed Kimmy to come in and sit in the steering chair.

***

Kimmy stole a glance at Jasson who was busy driving. He suddenly remembered the canned letter he found on his desk before he came home.

"I think Jasson sent me the canned letter" muttered Kimmy, his forehead wrinkled in astonishment. "But how did he get into my room?"

"Take leave on that date." Jasson suddenly threw a few sheets of paper he had just picked up from the car drawer to Kimmy to wake up the daydream of the woman sitting next to him.

"What's this?" Kimmy grabbed the sheet of paper.

"Can't you read?" without seeing Kimmy. His gaze focused forward will drive him.

"Honeymoon package, Bali Island? what's this for?" Kimmy turned to Jasson, waiting for the man to answer.

"Next week take a leave of absence on that date. We're going to Indonesia. There's my great-grandmother's birthplace" he said.

"Why are we going there?" Kimmy's forehead creased deeply, requiring Jasson to turn with an annoyed look at her.

"What can't you read that for?" annoyed.

"Honeymoon? Why are you taking me?"

"Then who should I take? aunt Katty?" he yelled in annoyance. "That's Mama's request, and I can't refuse it" she said in a faint voice. Jasson turned his eyes back to the front.

"Why so sudden? I'll try to talk to you to deny all this, you'll understand."

"No need!" Jasson turned her gaze back to Kimmy and stared at him sharply.

"Why? shouldn't we just not accept this?"

"Take your cut and don't ask too many questions, just follow your mother's request!"
