S2 Chapter 31 – Visit Alvin

Viani doesn't talk much. The girl spent more time in the room alone. If he goes out, just to work.

Several people came to his house and persuaded him to speak including Harry and Hana. Toni and April came to see the condition of Viani directly because in the office, Viani was very silent.

Vincent flatly rejected Viani's wishes at the time, but Viani insisted on canceling them.

The moral burden that Viani received upon seeing Niko almost strangled and hit Gala in the hospital so a terrible shadow that she could not just throw out of her mind.

Not to mention Erika's sudden condition— caused her quarrel with Niko while discussing Viani and Vincent—'s marriage made the girl feel guilty. Their families became scattered because of the work of Viani, that's what he believed until now.

There was news that Erika had been allowed to go home and she continued to improve after the installation of the ring. But that still doesn't make Viani better.

Five weeks after the incident, Viani has now settled in her parents' house.

“Vi .. there is Vincent below,” call Gemma on Viani. “Come, Honey, you meet your fiance first.”

A fiancee? Those were words that he had barely heard during the past few weeks. Usually, Miss Marni and her mother always mention names.

His feet stepped up to pick up a black velvet box from his bag. He took off the engagement ring that was still attached to his ring finger and placed it back in the box. “Give this to Vincent, Ma ..”

“But, Viani .. Mama think this is not the solution, you can still get married, Vi..” Gemma is still trying to persuade her son to keep the marriage going.

But Viani was no longer willing, it seemed. The girl shook her head, she was tired of resisting and kept resisting at the people who were trying to convince her.

“We no longer discuss, Ma ..” said Viani firmly with a tone that is so slow, cutting all Gemma invitations that always resonate in his ears every day.

Gemma is out of her mind. “Mama wouldn't love this same Vincent. You must love yourself, Vi!” he was upset and left the child in the room.

After the mother came out and closed the door, Viani locked it so that no one could enter. Then back to sitting on the edge of the bed while watching any western movie. He avoids dramas and any kind of movie genre that can drain tears.

“Viani ...” Vincent's voice was heard from outside accompanied by a slow knock. “Vi .. open the door, please.”

Viani chose to ignore Vincent's voice and put on a headset instead. The velvet box contained a ring that bound their relationship first. He realized that he could not give it to Vincent, so he chose to ignore the man's knock.

An hour later, Viani, who was suddenly hungry, opened the door. But his movements stopped when his body was pushed by Vincent to re-enter the room.

“Come out, Vin!” expel Viani.

But the man did not answer, but went ahead and pressed Viani up against the wall. “I don't want to get out of here, Vi!”

“Among us there is nothing, Vin ... please go.”

“You can't cancel our wedding so!”

“I can! The proof is I've called the building and they've returned your money 100%. If you don't believe me, check!”

Vincent frowned, how unwilling was Viani to be to him? “Vi .. come on, we can still persuade Papa.”

“Om Niko has clearly told you, Vin, who to choose. Do you want to repeat what happened with Aunt Erika—“

“Mama is healthy .. You don't have to feel guilty with him—“

“Try you in my position, Vin!”

The sentence silenced Vincent's mouth, with great difficulty he gulped his saliva and tried to listen to Viani.

“I gave Aunt a heart attack before she even became her daughter-in-law. It's all my fault, Vin. Papa and Mama got into a fight because of me, you got slapped Papa, you got kicked out Om Niko, Om Niko and Aunt Erika got into a fight, all because of me.”

Viani tried to hold back the crying by biting her lips. “Go, Vin .. I won't demand anything from you.”

Vincent's grip on Viani's arm loosened. All of this grew increasingly strange far beyond his expectations. The woman in front of him had already blamed herself too much until she could not think rationally. But Vincent won't give up, won't.

With a heavy heart, Vincent took Viani off and left his room.  At that time, Viani was able to breathe with relief. It's only been a few days that he hasn't seen Vincent, but it's been a century. Viani did not deny that she missed the man.

Ah, just thinking about it has made Viani's head dizzy!

The only person he wants to meet today is Alvin.  Alvin was taken by Viani to the family room where Marni had presented various snacks that they could enjoy while watching the action film that just aired on HBO.

Only in front of the man, Viani can be herself and tell stories casually.

In addition to Alvin's sometimes funny and innocent temperament, he is also a good listener. The man was so shocked to hear that Viani and Vincent were not getting married.

They were now sitting on a large L sofa in the opposite corner leaning back and drinking lemonade.

“What? You're crazy, Vi?!” alvin said with a gaping mouth while holding a bowl of corn krmbang in his hand. “Elo the story is very relaxed anyway?”

Viani failed to marry, she panicked right? “Terus lo want to see me how? Crying? Roaring? I have cape.”

“Means yesterday so dong?” ledek Alvin with teasing grin.

Viani takes a couch cushion and throws it at Alvin, “Whisper lo!”

Alvin chuckled then gulped back his lemonade. “But, Vi. In my humble opinion, you shouldn't have to cancel your marriage. Postpone is enough. Want to see when Om Niko gets angry for a long time?”

Viani stopped eating her pop corn right as her smile disappeared. “Gue is very traumatized by the condition of Aunt Erika, Vin. What about my divorce?”

Alvin speechless. He didn't think that far. But that doesn't mean the solution is like this either. “Don't be too overthinking first. Have you ever talked directly with Aunt Erika?”

Viani. “Until now, Aunt Erika never talked to me. The last time she tried to mediate resulted in a ring to be installed in her veins after a big fight with her husband. Yes, because I'm talking about my problem!"

“Well, if Om Niko loves Aunt Erika, then he will not repeat his mistake with his wife. They won't be that easy being bland or divorced, Vi.”

“Tau anyway. But then there was no more he tried to talk to Om Niko.”

“Tante Erika must have had her reasons, Vi. The proof is you said yourself that Om and Aunt fight because of this problem, right? Good thing, he has not found the right time to talk again to Om.”

Viani started thinking for a moment. He already knows everything that happened between Niko and Erika. How much he loved his wife. Isn't it with this, actually Niko can be more easily persuaded through Erika? But it was too late to ask Erika for help.

“Gue can't expect you to mature too?”

While Alvin, throw Viani back with a pillow and they throw each other guyonan. As Viani stood up, she again felt dizzy.

“Alvin ..” he said while holding his head.

Alvin immediately caught the body of Viani who suddenly drowned in his arms.
