Our Story: The Sudden Chancellery

Our Story: The Sudden Chancellery
90. Angrier

Then here they are the next day, in the first class cabin which is all full, encouraged by the Aditya family. Gala brought her extended family on holiday together to South Korea after a large reception held at the same hotel. They depart from the airport at around 9am and will arrive in Seoul at night.

Of all the people who came, Vianilah was the most excited. The girl went back and forth to the toilet, nervous about what she would see when she reached the airport.

“Vi... Vi! Your lagak like I've wanted to meet Jungkook,” said Mona who was careless to see the girl was so agitated.

“Ih, Auntie! Viani excited! Does Rachel not like BTS?”

Rachel, Mona's only one-year-old son from her responds flatly, “Ngot steady. I love Olivia Rodrigo!”

“No exclamation, ah!” sergeant Viani with an increasingly cold hand. Viani returned to her seat which was right behind Gala and Gemma.

Everyone in the cabin had their own plans. Felix and his wife are going to baby moon. Mona will come to the husband who happens to be in business in Busan. While Paul and his wife also enliven the atmosphere because it has not been a vacation for a long time. After 4 days in Korea, they will go straight to Japan. Viani is hoping to meet BTS. But together, they will use as much as 2 days to walk with complete personnel.

Now, the two newlyweds are rolled away on the chair in a state of deep sleep after 'working hard-bony-unyielding that's your guideline' to present the successor of the Aditya clan from the Gala seed.

No matter how noisy Mona's children play in the cabin, they remain still in place and do not wake up during the 7-hour drive.

...***...

Arriving at the hotel, they immediately hurriedly booked the in-room dinner service as everyone was already quite tired.

They were gathered in the suite where Gala and Gemma were staying for a meal together. This time in turn, it was the man who looked uncomfortable at dinner.

The man did not seem to be very well suited to Korean food. He prefers to eat pizza or fried chicken flour only. Fortunately, there are so many non-Korean dishes that he can choose from. Unlike Viani who enjoyed it very much, the little girl was eating the dish in front of her voraciously.

“Napa, Om?” asked Viani who felt Gala being noticed with a frown.

“How are the leaves flavored?” ask Gala curiously.

“Nih, want?” Viani thrusting a leaf of Ssam.

“Ngak. Om just what it feels like? Is it like eating grass?”

Mona looked at Gala's cute expression as she watched the vegetable. "It's just a vegetable, not a nuclear test. There's no difference in lettuce."

And in the end all were completely overloaded and exhausted, one by one leaving their room including Viani who slept with Rachel in the same room, in the suite Mona occupied.

Now Gala and Gemma have both finished their baths, and are getting ready to go to sleep.

“Sayang..” call Gemma slowly.

“Ya.”

“One is not yet done, how many.”

Gemma patted Gala's arm with gaiety, “Yes there must be planning!”

“How much, whatever, Dear.”

Gemma sighed softly, her gaze glaring. “I just released an IUD a week ago. I don't know when I'm pregnant again. What if I have trouble getting pregnant?”

“Emang that's a problem?”

“Make a lot of men out there, that's a problem. Big problem even.”

“We agreed yesterday. God's Sedication. That means yes, whatever above will give him when and how."

"I'm not pregnant yet, how?"

"No pa-pa, selow."

“You're not afraid of social pressure? Not to mention in-laws, dan—“

“You forgot I was an orphan? No one can force us. After all, why should the child be questioned? Is that a benchmark for people's happiness?”

“Make most people, yes.”

“But I married you not only because I wanted to have children from you. I chose you out of love, because baby. Having a child is a bonus. Don't have it already.”

“Such a ngomonnya! You may at first think so. You have not been understanding how the family pressure will be when you are slow to have children or why have only one child. My ex-in-law, Mas Indra's sister-in-law, was heavily gossiped about with Aunt Mira and her own husband because she didn't have any children now."

“Come on, we've lived in the 21st century, Gem. Out there many parents kill children, many babies are entrusted to orphanages because their parents are not ready to be born. I don't know if I will be fertile or not. If only I couldn't have children, what would you do? Do you want to stop loving me?”

Gemma was silent for a moment looking at Gala in shock. Didn't think that sentence would come from Gala. “Why are you even that?”

“Yes obviously I don't like this discussion, Gem. From the beginning I desperately pursued you, begging your love not for you to doubt. But with this in mind, you are just as famous as me as your ex-husband's family!” Gala stood up from the bed and went to the toilet without looking at Gemma who was aghast at her place.

Gemma sat on the bed, stunned by what happened. Then he realized one thing when Gala returned to wearing full clothes and slept behind him.

Gala angry.
