Refusing to Go

Indhira took the paper from her bag and sat on the edge of the bed after she and her husband finished performing Isya prayer. While Bagas directly out of the room to make sure all the doors and windows are tightly closed.

" Papa's Day is leaving for Hong Kong. Papa wants to meet Papa's business partner there. Does Mama want to come?" Adibrata pulled out a thick blanket and sat leaning against the large spring bed headboard.

" Mama's day after tomorrow there's Arisan, Pa. Instead of shopping there alone, mending Mama gather there Mama's friends here only, Pa." Angel reasoned.

" Are you sure you're not going to come with Papa?" Adibrata asked back to be sure.

" Yes, Pa. Later if Kartika school holidays, Mama wants to take Kartika on vacation to Japan." Angel was looking for another reason for her husband not to be suspicious because he refused to go to Hong Kong.

" Want to go on holiday with Kartika?" Adibrata frowned at the plan mentioned by his wife.

" We haven't been on vacation together in a long time, Pa. So later on school holidays, Mama wants to take Kartika on vacation to Japan. Can you, right, Pa?" Angel asked her husband for permission, but he had not planned anything.

" If Papa can't come, let Mama and Kartika go on vacation there. Kartika' is good at Japanese, so there is no problem if Mama and Kartika go alone there," explained Angel reassured her husband.

" Of course, Mama and Kartika would go there." Finally Adibrata also gave permission to Angel and Kartika who plan to go to Japan next summer vacation. Without feeling suspicious if it was just his wife's wits so that Adibrata did not suspect his plan to meet with Bagas.
