The first bite of the apple was able to warm Nathan's heart, somehow the man felt like there came after a long time feeling the emptiness. Nathan stared at the apple bite marks, the eagle's eyes then glanced at the woman who was still busy with her work.

There was a sense of peace when Nathan saw Emily's face, a face that seemed familiar to his heart. A glass of milk that was still warm left the man stunned for a moment. I don't know why it felt so different this morning. Nathan felt a warm embrace that he could not explain.

"Five minutes to go we have a meeting" Fredy said, but Nathan did not press Fredy's notice. "Weeeh...are you sick?" fredy's asking surprised Nathan.

"No, I'm fine!" he said with a confused face. "What's wrong?" asked a flat voice provoked Emily's eyes to turn towards them.

"We have a meeting." Fredy repeated in surprise.

"We're leaving now" Nathan said, rising from his golden chair. "Take her...!" nathan's orders.

The three of them then go to a famous restaurant because Nathan will meet with Clients from abroad. Emily sits at a different table, the woman keeps looking at Nathan who looks a lot like their father.

Half an hour, the meeting was finally over. The client was gone but Emily suddenly turned her face away when she saw a woman walking towards Nathan.

"Catrina.." Emily's mind was shocked when she saw Edwin's ex-wife twitching in her sister's arms.

"You and Emily go back first, I'll go with Catrina." Nathan told Fredy.

Fredy is actually sick of seeing the attitude of Catrina, Nathan who has no experience of love is very easily fooled by the woman. Along the way to the office, Emily's brain is full of question marks even the woman is very curious about the relationship Catrina and her sister.

Arriving at the office, Emily returned to her job. The clock is three o'clock in the afternoon and it's coming home soon. The woman began packing.

"Just go home, today's work is all done" Fredy said.

"But it's still half an hour away" said Emily, feeling unwell.

"Our boss is not going back to the office" the man said.

Emily breathed a rough breath, walking down the sidewalk which was quite crowded with pedestrians. Suddenly a luxury car stopped right next to the woman.

"Good it.." the man with the sunglasses ordered. For a moment Emily was stunned, her eyes hypnotized with the charm of an Edwin. "Heiii..ayo ride." said Edwin and Emily rushed up.

"Thank you.." said the woman still set a heart that continues to pound.

"Did they make things difficult for you?" ask Edwin to worry.

"No, everything's fine." replied the woman tired.

"What are you thinking?" edwin asked when he saw Emily's face change.

"Actually, what is your ex-wife's relationship with my sister?" ask Emily slowly so as not to offend the man beside her.

"So, I know Catrina kept trying to get into Alexander's family. Andreson's family used Catrina to get into the family." Edwin said, leaving Emily speechless.

"If my brother's why, how?" ask her fear.

"I'll protect your sister in my own way. You don't have to think about everything." Edwin tried to calm the heart of the woman beside him.

"May I ask you something?" said Emily.

"That's what!"

"Why are you so good to me?" ask Emily seriously.

Edwin confirmed his suit, the man could already guess what Emily would question. "Do I have to answer?" edwin asked back to make the woman frown deeply.

"Don't make a woman too comfortable if it will eventually be ignored." Emily's speech was able to make Edwin die of silence. The eagle's eyes were fixed locking the bead with waving plumes.

"If I say I'm comfortable with you how?" the warm sound was able to make Emly's entire body freeze.

"Don't joke about feelings, I've been greatly disappointed by life." said the woman. "Your kindness I haven't been able to decipher, our standard of living is different and I'm sure you have something else you've hidden from me." she said in a cold voice.

Edwin sipped his drink. "You're too smart to guess." The little naughtiness confused Emily.

"What do you mean?" ask Emily wonder.

"On the one hand, I'm comfortable with you. On the other hand I can't tell you what I'm planning. Believe me Emily, I won't make you wretched or disappointed. Although I knew that one day you could not swallow my explanation for granted." those black eyes looked seriously at the beautiful eyeballs filled with confusion.

"You're a good person, but I can't dive deeper into your life" Emily said slowly but Edwin could still hear her clearly.

"Eat, you'll be hungry." Edwin switched their conversation.

"No, do you know Edw...Nathan and Fredy were like they were investigating me" said the woman, beginning to fidget at the scene this morning.

"You take it easy, they won't find your past. I just opened the place where you were born." Edwin said to calm Emily's heart.

"Thank you.." said Emily.

"In the future, if something happens that you can't handle, I promise I'll always be there for you." that sounded earnest. I don't know where Edwin could have made that promise.

Orange began to paint in the sky, finished eating Edwin drove Emily home. The man even told two people to stay in the same apartment and floor just to look after Emily.

Edwin did not come home, the man chose to meet Darren who had been waiting for him since earlier in the usual place they met.

"What's wrong?" ask a man one year older than Edwin.

"I can feel Emily under pressure. Her hopes of being recognized as a big sister are quite great. Tell me, how can I close my eyes not to help her?" edwin said then downed the red wine little by little.

"Your attitude is like this, can I say love?" ask Darren back.

"What are you talking about, right?" that cold voice was common to Darren.

"I'm talking about your interest in Emily. In the past, you didn't treat Catrina the way you treated Emily. If I had guessed, you'd have found a suitable person by now." Darren muttered to the point of making Edwin speechless. The man was feeling the tone of the heart that almost every time called Emily's name. Edwin did not answer, the man chose to leave Darren alone in that place.
