"Thank you boss...!" emily said when she received her salary.
The twenty-seven-year-old woman was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief as she could cover her needs one month ahead. His body is very tired it is certain, but what power Emily must be willing to work during the night.
The clock shows at ten o'clock in the evening, Emily walking towards her apartment. The apartment he rented was very cheap and certainly comparable with the price.
It took Emily twenty minutes to walk to her residence. But when he was only half the journey he was stopped by his stepfather. As Emily's body goes limp, she finds out that her stepfather will ask for her money back.
"Give me some money...!" frans orders half drunk.
"I don't have any money. Didn't you take all that yesterday?" emily was terrified.
Frans grabbed Emily's hair and grabbed her little sling bag, but Emely quickly revolted and pushed Frans' body to the brink.
Frans, who was back on his feet, stood up and slapped the woman's face until the blood came out of the corner of her lips.
"Give me some money....!" frans is still trying to snatch Emily's bag.
Emily with all her might defended her money because if it was taken by her father she would actually fast for a month. With great courage Emily kicked Frans until the man fell back.
Frans who was getting emotional again rose and was about to beat up his stepson. But out of nowhere, suddenly Edwin directly taught Frans to battered. While Emely who is already helpless can only cry while looking at the jotos in front of her.
Frans who lost immediately fled, while Emily just sat limp because her face was battered by Frans. Edwin grabbed the woman and put her in the car.
Emily had not realized that what helped her was the man she had always admired. Edwin rushes Emily to his apartment house. The man then took the compress tool also saleb wound.
"Aaaaa..moan.." - cf. Emily.
"What are you doing in the middle of the night?" asking the cold voice made Emily look up.
Struck by surprise, Emily was stunned when she saw clearly who the man who had helped her was. Emily was amazed at the man's determination.
"Mr Edwin.." - Emily made Edwin frown deeply.
"Who are you? why do you know my name?" edwin asked suspiciously.
"I'm a master employee in the office." replied nervously Emily.
"Employee? what share? why have I never seen you?" a series of questions came out of Edwin's mouth.
"I'm just a cleaning service. I work on the eighth floor." replied Emily with a lowered face. The woman was quite embarrassed to show her bruised face.
"Who was that man? is he robbing you?" edwin's question made Emily speechless. There's no way Emily's telling the truth about what happened to her.
"Sorry sir, I'm going home" said Arumi nervously.
Edwin pulled Emily's hand as she was about to get out of her seat. For a moment their eyes looked at each other. Emily, can't lie if her heart is beating fast.
"It's night, your face is even hurt." said Edwin.
"Sit....!" edwin's orders.
Doubtful, Emily was a little scared when she saw the glare of Edwin's very sharp eyes. The woman sat back down while holding the pain on her face. Edwin then compresses back the bruises on Emily's face.
"Let me alone sir." said Emily reaching for a small towel from Edwin's hand.
"Shut up...!" edwin's orders left Emily speechless.
When he finished, Edwin asked Emily to wait for him for a while because the man was going to buy food. Whatisthis? why would an Edwin come out in the middle of the night just to buy food?
Shortly after Edwin returned, the man had found Emily asleep on the couch with her body curled up to withstand the cold of the night. Stuck, Edwin looked at Emily's face. The man could have hit her if Emily was bearing a heavy burden in her life. Emily's tired face could not be lied to, inexplicably Edwin's heart suddenly felt filled to see the woman.
Edwin moved Emily into the room, even the woman did not feel that she was currently in the arms of an Edwin Arnold Egalia.
While Edwin chose to sleep in his room, the man also felt tired in his body which required him to sleep fast.
In the morning, Emily slowly opened her eyes. The woman was massaging her aching head, she looked around. Degs...Emily knew where she was now.
The woman then went straight out of the room and found Edwin's suit still on the sofa. Emily glanced at her watch, still five in the morning. Emily writes a piece of paper to Edwin and then leaves.
This is the difference, although his apartment and Edwin's apartment are not too far away, but the luxury is the difference.
Emily immediately went to take a bath, finished bathing the woman covered the bruises using foundation. After her bruises were disguised Emily immediately rushed off to work.
At the apartment, Edwin smiled faintly as he read a small note from Emily. Edwin then left for the office as usual. The man was very curious about what Emily said if he was one of the employees on the eighth floor.
Emily's favorite place, the woman daydreams about the direction her life is now. Wanting his taste he cried as hard as he did, but for what tears in waste free.
"Your face...why Em...?" ask Carry to panic.
"I'm fine." she replied with a smile that she always emitted.
"Is this what your stepfather did again?" guess Carry growled.
"Em.. You'd better move on." said Carry.
"Where to move? you know for yourself Car, even if I go into the ant hole even Frans always finds me." muttered Emily sadly.
"Is your paycheck safe last night?" ask Carry.
"He's safe." replied Emily, but she didn't tell him who had helped her last night.
"Prophe Em.Hopefully you can find your happiness later" Carry said, making Emily sobbing. Having Carry alone she was already very grateful, living a lonely life without a backrest made Emily already trained with her name of suffering.
Without them knowing if Edwin had listened to the two women's conversation since. Not wanting his whereabouts in the know, Edwin decided to go into his room.
