A very happy and sad weekend. The brothers were on their way back to the city where they were born. A suburban town whose name is not very well known. Nathan drives according to the instructions given by his brother. They were just the two of them, there was no Bodyguard even Edwin who wanted to come once had to fight his mouth first with Nathan.
The burial area was not far from the big road, they did not have to bother looking for a way. Nathan and Emily each brought a bouquet of flowers for their parents. Tracing the path with rows of neat pine trees, Nathan still followed his brother's steps.
"Don't you forget their tomb?" Nathan asked because the man was worried that his sister would forget.
"No, the man would always take the brother to the mother's grave once every month but not with the father's tomb" Emily replied making Nathan frown to his two brow confused.
"Why is that?" her question was astonished.
"She loved mom very much, she would come once every month even if she was in a far away city. He hates daddy so much, that his word already snatched mom from him." Emily told me a little bit about it.
"That's a risk, loving someone too deeply must be prepared with a broken heart as well." Nathan murmured wisely.
Not feeling they arrived at their mother's grave, Emily closed her eyes while taking a deep breath while reading the carving of her mother's name. "Mother, I'm coming. I came with the child you thought was dead until you followed her" Emily said in a trembling voice. Nathan is shocked by his sister's statement, it turns out their mother died there is a connection to Nathan's departure.
"I'm sorry mom." this time Nathan said on his knees at his mother's grave. "Mother I'm back, be happy you're mom. I've punished the man who separated and destroyed our family." the man returned.
Emily just patted her sister's shoulder to give her strength. There was no way she as a big brother would have to cry with her sister. No, it will make the mood worse, Emily said.
The breeze in this autumn adds to its atmosphere. The sisters sat facing each other while recounting their lives in front of her mother's grave. After the longing faded, Emily again invited her sister to go to the tomb of the father who was on a different path. Looking back to their lives raised without the affection of parents. No one in any of them has ever seen the face of their father or mother.
"Dad, I'm coming. I came with a kid you never saw. The boy said he had already punished the man who had destroyed our family. Are you happy now dad....!" Emily muttered as if she was talking to her father.
Until this moment, Nathan was unable to make his voice. There was only silence in the vast burial area, the sparrow whistling that was scattered here and there broke the silence. The leaves fall when touched by the wind. The flowers they carried perched beautifully on top of their father's funeral.
By late afternoon Emily and Nathan return to their town. The return trip was shorter than the first trip. It is still a puzzle why the journey home feels faster even though the route passed is the same.
Nathan escorted his older brother straight to the apartment that Edwin was waiting there. Nathan didn't say much, even the man had no intention of greeting his future sister-in-law.
"Did your sister have a ghost in the tomb?" edwin asked jokingly because he saw Nathan's attitude.
"Hiiss. Don't be like that, he's sad!" emily shouted while pinching the man's arm.
"Bee, tomorrow we'll meet the fashion designer for our wedding." Edwin tells Emily to be surprised.
"Bee...You why? do you have any doubts about our marriage?" edwin asked feeling bad.
Emily quickly smiled so that Edwin would not be mistaken. "Don't love, I still can't believe I'm gonna be your wife."
Edwin breathed a sigh of relief, "I think you're still questioning the status of my widower. I thought you were this single embarrassed by my situation."
Emily laughed crisply, "The word of the widower is more seductive, even you yourself are still a virgin. Should I question that matter? no, the important thing is that you love me and can accept me for who I am, I'm so grateful." Emily said at length.
"Thank you bee." said Edwin sincerely.
"Thank you too, baby. Love you Mr.Youth....!" emily exclaims make Edwin more and more lethargic on the woman.
Edwin grabbed Emily's shoulder and pinched the woman's sweet nose. "If you dare cheat behind my back, watch out!"
"Only a foolish woman would be willing to talk to you." said Emily, and they laughed together.
Unbeknownst to Emily, Edwin has already spread their wedding invitations. Catrina tore up an invitation sent by her ex-husband. So did Nadia who was very unacceptable when someone delivered an invitation on behalf of Edwin and Emily.
"What have you been doing all this time? why did Edwin suddenly send out his wedding invitations? who's that girl?" Andreson asked in his high voice.
"She, she's a former Edwin employee. The lace-caste woman even her job was just a broomstick in Edwin's company." Nadia told her papi.
"The fire had to get rid of the woman immediately before Edwin's wedding day. You know for yourself our company is on the verge of bankruptcy." Andreson began to fidget. Because all this time he always filed for cooperation with the company Edwin but always rejected.
"I don't care about the papi company, all I care about is Edwin. Edwin will only be mine after Catrina." he said with ambition.
"Why don't you ask Catrina for help? papi thinks he can be fooled...! not even your best friend was too good to attract the attention of Alexander's family." Andreson scoffs at Catrina.
"He always asks for a lot of rewards. I hate Catrina because she's a double eye!" nadia insulted her own best friend.
Nadia's face flushed red, her love for Edwin made the woman want to justify all means to get the man. Andreson continued to pry his son about Edwin's marriage.
