Perfect'S My Husband
28.I'm Confused

No, Edwin didn't leave when Emily asked him to accompany her. Emily who still has not accepted the events she experienced today continues to think hard how to see her sister even though she has to be from a distance.

"Bee, please don't think about it." said Edwin as he passed the boy's hair into the woman's ear.

Emily only sighed deeply then said in a sad voice. "She's the only hope my family has right now, how can I not think of her."

Edwin just smiled, hugging tightly his grieving woman. "I'll help you. I promise...!" Edwin was still trying to cheer up the woman.

Edwin is thrilled to linger in Emily's apartment, accompanying the woman until she feels reluctant to leave. There is a concern of its own felt by Edwin but the man can cover it from Emily.

At ten o'clock in the evening, Edwin left. The man did not go home but met Jhon personally. Jhon immediately sneered at Edwin, the middle-aged man understood what Edwin meant and purpose came to see him.

"Are you willing to drop your pride for the sake of that woman?" a sneering tone was clearly heard in Edwin's ears.

Edwin only responded with a warm smile, no matter how much the man in front of him was much older than he was. "Uncle, that,..." Edwin opened the voice "Why don't we try to just end this dispute" Edwin said making John's laughter echo throughout the room.

"You still dare to call me uncle ?" Jhon raised his two eyebrows in disbelief.

"I really don't know what problems you've had in the past, but it has nothing to do with me. Uncle I'm just asking that you let Nathan know that Emily is his older sister." Edwin tried to negotiate with the middle-aged man.

Jhon instantly moved his teeth in disbelief, "Who dare you ask me?" the cynical tone sounded heavy in Edwin's ears.

"It would be better if Uncle told Nathan directly than he knew from people!" exclaim Edwin made to two eyes Jhon reddened. "Nathan has every right to know where he came from" he said. "If uncle doesn't want to tell him, at least let the brother and sister get close to each other."

"You gave me orders?" John chuckles not to accept. "You and Theo are the same. Equally selfish...!" jhon exclaimed with emotion.

"Uncle, I'm confused, you and Daddy are hostile to each other but you're involving a lot of people. I don't even know the core of your problems." Edwin tries to harass Jhon because he is quite curious about the past of Jhon and Theo. "Owh.or your problem has something to do with a man named Rosalinda Xiverry" said Edwin made Jhon immediately widened his eyes in shock.

"Where do you know that name?" asked Jhon frowning her deeply.

Edwin laughed crisply, he just guessed but Jhon's expression said another. "Did you forget uncle, before you caught the two, I first taught the two Rosalinda's men." explained Edwin made Jhon limp. "Does that woman have anything to do with your past?" once again, Edwin investigated Jhon.

John left, but his steps came to a halt when Edwin repeated his request. "Think of my request earlier uncle, then I won't bother you." There was a slight threat coming out of Edwin's request before Jhon actually walked out of the private room.

Edwin let out a rough breath, then leaned against the back of the sofa. "I'm sorry Emily, I I I had to sacrifice you to unite the Egalians and the Alexander family."

Edwin arrived at his house at twelve p.m., drowsiness and fatigue necessitating that the man quickly meet the bed. But curiosity about his Daddy's past made Edwin think hard. Moreover, when Edwin mentioned the name Rosalinda Xiverry, Theo immediately panicked and nervous.

"Yes, they all have something to do." Edwin murmured and threw his body on the king-size bed.

The happy Emily immediately went to work with joy. Don't forget to buy Nathan's favorite pie. But Emily steps tight when she sees Catrina in Nathan's room. "When did they become familiar?" emily's mind was full of questions.

Catrina looked cynically at Emily, the woman was very dislikeful of Emily. "What did you put down. Does it contain poison?" Catrina tried to provoke Nathan. "I'll throw it away" said the arrogant Catrina.

The woman went forward and took a tray containing a glass of milk and a plate of pie. "Who gave you permission to touch my food?" Nathan's voice sounded terrible, his eyes glaring sharply at Catrina.

"It must contain poison, don't eat and drink recklessly." Catrina is still provoking Nathan by issuing his cruel charges to Emily. Emily who saw the drama could only turn her eyes off guard.

"Get out...!" push Nathan still with his subtle tone.

"Nathan, don't you get me wrong. I don't want to....!" catrina's speech was cut off by Nathan who drove her away in a rude language.

"If you can't understand subtle-language, then don't blame me if I'm putting out abusive language" Nathan's words upset Catrina. The woman decided to leave Nathan's room. Fredy and Emily could only hold back their laughter. Before exiting, Catrina glanced sharply at Emily.

"Other times, bring me some home cooking" Nathan said, leaving Emily speechless. Fredy even nudged the woman's arm to be aware of her daydream.

"Good sir." said Emily nervously.

Time passed quickly, it did not feel like the clock back home from work finally arrived. Emily was picked up by Edwin at the usual place. The woman kept telling me the events today that made the two of her laugh.

"Honey, you can tell me how Catrina's expression was. He even clenched onto his two hands. " Emily's story makes Edwin laugh.

"She doesn't like you when you're just your own sister's secretary." Edwin said funny.

"Well, she doesn't know that I'm Nathan's sister." - Emily.

"Bee, like her you have to prank Catrina and Nadia a lot. I hear their relationship is tenuous now."

"Honey,..You're watching them.?" asked Emily with a dislike look.

"No bee,..Nadia herself complained to Daddy. Their family company is on the limit and they are both fighting for a rich couple." Edwin explained, making Emily head to head.

"They justify everything just for the sake of money." Emily murmured clearly in Edwin's ear. "Honey, I'm so lucky to have you. Even if you're a widower, but you're still...." Emily shut her mouth and did not continue her speech.

"What's still bee...?" edwin asked confused.

"I was wrong." Emily's expression turned shy even the woman switched their conversation all the way home.
