PREGNANT WITHOUT TOUCH (22)
ASlan POV
After I left Dad's house, I didn't go back to the Pesantren and I told Abah about it, and about my concerns about Namira.
"I'd better go to the restaurant first." My car drove straight to the restaurant.
During the trip I took the time to call Namira, when I just left, somehow already missed, and worried.
I put an earmode in the ear hole so as not to interfere because I am currently driving a car.
"Wa'alaikumsalam unfortunately Abang," I answered the greeting of the woman there.
"Oh.. Again talk to Dad, but you're okay, honey?" I was a little worried.
"Alhamdulillah, janga forgot to drink milk and vitamins hm," I said after being told if she was okay.
"Assalamualaikum," I ended the phone call.
It was not without reason that I behaved like that, just before I actually left the house, I saw a man standing like he was watching me and Namira.
From where he stood, it seemed that he deliberately did not want to be seen, what was his intention?.
"What is that man ...?" I'm thinking of a man from my wife's past.
"O Allah protect our wives and children from anyone who wants evil" I asked in prayer for protection.
After a long journey, I finally arrived at my restaurant.
Arabian style restaurant, that is the concept of my restaurant. because indeed the special menu in this restaurant is rice kebeli, I deliberately make a restaurant in the style of arabian style, arabian style, because I really like the typical food of the Arab country, namely kebuli rice.
Actually not only rice kebeli that became the mainstay of our restaurant, there is also shawarma, is a food made from chicken, goat or lamb sliced thinly and soaked in a cone-shaped skewer, soaked in a cone, then lastly baked on the grill, and many more other Arab foods.
"Assalamualaikum, Gus," said one employee.
One officer who became my right hand immediately welcomed me when I looked at my data since I was still outside.
"Wa'alaikumsalam, how's the restaurant? smoothly?" ask me when I went in to ask the state of this restaurant.
The 21-year-old man invited me to a special staff room. In this restaurant I did not provide a special room, the reason is because I was rarely in the restaurant. I also want the person who is my right hand to occupy one room with other employees to make it easier to supervise.
"Gus, can you see this?" point Rido to the cctv monitor, after we sit down.
There showing a man who was almost the same age as me, a man with a maroon suit looks busy asking one of my employees something.
"Who is he?" I asked Rido.
"I don't know Gus either, at first I thought he was just a regular customer, but when our employees told me, if anyone asked him about Gus, I became suspicious. The problem is the question is not unusual Gus," answered Rido explained.
"What did he ask?" I came back, I was curious.
"He asked about Gus and also his wife, you live where in Jakarta, any business Gus, and many more."timpal Rido.
"What is the purpose of that person asking about me and also Namira?!" I growled while breaking the table.
Of course Rido who heard just shook his head.
"How many times has that person come?" my question and my gaze returned to the monitor screen.
"If it's not wrong twice Gus." explained Rido.
'Does this man have anything to do with the man I saw at home?' I said in my heart.
I left the restaurant after all the business was done. As I kept thinking about the two men, I grew more afraid and more worried that the truth between them was my wife's past.
"I have to go back to Dad's house! it is also impossible for me to leave my wife, what else after finding out if someone is spying on us" I said when I got into the car.
I immediately drove this black car back to my father's house, where my wife and my future son are currently.
.
"Assalamualaikum," my greeting several times while knocking on the door,
Gts ..
Gts ..
Tok....!
"Where is it?" My monologue.
I became anxious and thought back to the man I saw this morning.
"Don't!" I said with my mind starting everywhere.
"Sadang! bi... auntie! I was screaming.
Suddenly a voice came from the side of the house, "Abangg!" yelling that voice, I ran so worried.
"Assalamualaikum Brother." Namira gave her greetings, and was a little surprised.
My breath stinged, not .. not because of running, but tired because of the feeling of worry that had made my heart beat fast.
"What is the reason why this is so scary? Why did you come home again? Is there anything left?" consecutive questions came out of my lady's lips.
Namira walks to a table not far from where she stands to get me a drink, and Namira and aunt are currently in the back garden.
"Nih bang!" Namira threw me a glass of water.
I took a glass from Namira's hand and drank it to the toilet.
I took Namira's hand and led her to the park chair and took her to a seat. The look on her face was still confused, probably because I saw me coming back all of a sudden.
"Are you all right, baby?" I asked as one hand stroked his stomach.
"Yes Bang, I'm fine" Namira said as she held my hand.
"Abang did not go back to the boarding school, my brother also had permission to share Abah," I said explaining.
Namira's face still implied the question.
"Look, baby! All this time my brother has not told you about your work, brother," I said.
"Alhamdulillah, Abang has several restaurant and cafe businesses in Jakarta, and at this time everything is in need of Brother's attention" he explained.
'Sorry baby, you can't be frank with you the real reason for your brother, why you don't go back to the boarding school, ' I said in my heart.
The smell of roasted chicken being roasted by Auntie was pouring out into all the nasal cavities.
"Bi! Why don't you buy a roasted chicken?" ask my aunt who was rubbing her eyes, surely because of the smoke.
"I am the one with the grilled chicken, but I have to make it myself" Namira said, bowing her head.
"Darling, look at the smoke! It's not good for you what else to make the utun, pity it," I said explaining to him.
Namira nodded, and I immediately got up to help her stand up and took Namira away from the garden, into the house.
After arriving inside I went straight into the room to put a bag containing clothes. While Namira, I immediately told her to look at the father-in-law.
"Where are you?" ask me after being in my father-in-law's room.
"I'm sad Bang, look at Dad's face, it's getting pale" Namira said.
"Are we forcing Dad to go to the hospital?" lontark.
We both kept quiet when we saw Dad move. His eyes slowly opened, his gaze staring at me and Namira.
Then Namira clasped the pale hand, kissed it many times, and the tears she had soaked the veil that was still attached to the face.
I shifted my standing position to the back of Namira who was currently sitting in a chair that only fit one person. I opened the veil rope tied behind her head, and now she has a pretty face that is swollen and swollen in the eyes.
I rubbed Namira's back to channel her strength and kissed her head from behind.
"Darling ... yes, do not cry on," said Dad in his weak voice.
"Now Dad has calmed down. leave the only child Father.if now God takes the life of Father also." Dad's voice is getting weaker.
Namira's crying grew louder, I kept trying to calm my wife.
"Call the Doctor!" I said as I picked up a flat object in my pants pocket.
I haven't had the chance to suppress the doctor who handled my father-in-law, Dad immediately forbade me.
"No need... Son," said father.
"Dad tipped Namira.. keep and protect always Daddy's daughter.." continued Dad.
Dad's breath began to look crowded, Dad always looked up his head every time he wanted to catch his breath.
"Dad ... Daddy!" call Namira while shaking her father's hand.
I woke Namira up from her seat, and guided her to another chair.
"Honey, you sit here firstwell." I asked while helping Namira to occupy the plastic chair.
"Assalamualaikum, Gus," Bibi greeted with a panicked face, after hearing Namira's voice earlier.
Aunty immediately stepped in and walked over to Namira who was currently still crying.
"Wa'alaikumsalam," I replied, then told Auntie to accompany Namira.
I went back to Dad, sitting on the side of the bed. Dad's eyes closed, I took the pale hand and held Dad's wrist to check his pulse.
Just as I was holding his hand, Dad's eyes opened again, smiling, where I could see that Dad was no longer able to endure the pain that gnawed at his body.
"Bim-bing A-dad.." said Dad staggered.
I nodded, as a sign of agreeing with Dad's words, and Namira was seen standing in a favor by Auntie, walking over to the spot where her Father was lying.
Namira re-occupied the chair earlier, her crying became more so, while I guided Dad to say two sentences of shahadah.
Although with a stammering voice, but Dad can say the Creed until the end, where Dad also breathed his last.
"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi roziun" we said together.
"Dad... Dad...." Call Namira while sobbing.
I hugged my wife and let her cry first before Dad put on his last outfit.
Namira hugged my waist tightly, and one hand held the phone to contact Abah and Umi.
"Assalamualaikum Bah," I said greeting Abah, but it turns out Umi who picked up the phone.
"Dad died Umi, please come to Abah," I said, after Umi returned the greetings.
After that call I ended, and I turned to Auntie, gave her a code to get closer,
"Bi, please take Namira to the room! I'll call Mr. Ustadz first, tell him." I said, helping Namira to his feet.
Bibi took Namira out of the room while I continued to call Mr. Ustad for him to come home to help with the funeral procession.
It did not take long Mr. Ustadz and the neighbors came, the yellow flag was installed on the fence. Mr. Ustadz also immediately carried out the process of handling the body, Namira and I agreed to hasten the funeral process of the father while Umi and Abah were still on their way to Jakarta takes approximately two or three hours, they just got home.
Namira's condition is much better, Namira can already calculate, he realized if God loves Dad more.
After all the bathing and memorizing process is completed the time of the funeral process, the,
"It's time for Gus!" said Mr. Ustadz told.
"Well Mr. Ustadz, I'll let my wife know for a moment" I said goodbye, then left Mr. Ustadz, walked into the room.
Because of Namira's limp condition after meeting the mourners, so I told her to rest in the room.
"Darling come! Meet Dad for the last time, Mr. Ustad said the funeral procession will be done soon."
Namira immediately got out of bed, I helped her stand up and helped her walk by holding her shoulder because of her limp condition. Namira again rests in front of the corpse of Father who has been forgiven, he again cries. I rubbed his back to give the power to let iklas let go of Father, I said,
"Oh yes dear, you know if our tears are not good for the deceased, our tears will become a burden and burdensome to the deceased. If we want to cry, don't do it in front of the body, you know, baby, what do our tears mean for the corpse?" whispered in his ear.
Namira immediately shut up and nodded, I again helped him stand up and gave the code to Mr. Ustadz if the funeral can be done immediately. Mr. Ustad and several people including me helped to lay the body in the coffin after me and others carried the coffin to the ambulance that was already in the front yard. While Namira only deliver the body of Father to the ambulance because women are forbidden to follow the funeral process.
" Dear, you take Daddy to the funeral. You just wait at home with Auntie, maybe soon Umi same abah until," I said, while thrusting a hand at Namira.
"Yes Bang" he said, grabbing my hand and kissing her.
At home, Namira is not only alone with Bibi but there are still some neighbors who accompany her at home, while Namira's brother no longer has her.
I drove straight to TPU, Dad's final resting place. The funeral process was immediately carried out with wisdom.after the completion of the prayers of the mourners left the burial place, while I was still sitting quietly on the side of the funeral Father.
"Dad, I promise I will always look after Namira and her son. A quiet father there," I said as I rubbed the gravestone that read Hilman's name.
About 30 minutes I was in the maelstrom of Dad, I decided to go home immediately I walked away from the cemetery to the car park. but before I got to the car park my tail caught someone I seemed to have seen this morning in front of my in-laws' house.
"I'm sure if that person is the same man I saw this morning at Namira's house, then why did he come to this cemetery?" muttered.
I returned to walk, after arriving at the parking lot I immediately got into the car and drove my vehicle to the house. It does not take long the car has been parked in the yard. right as I thought if Umi and Abah had reached home.
"Assalamualaikum," I said salutations.
"Wa'alaikumsalam," they answered simultaneously.
I stepped back inside after greeting the neighbors and Abah who was chatting outside.
I saw Umi was accompanying Namira in the room I also approached both of them and greeted Umi's hand as well as Namira who shone my hand.
After seeing the man for the second time today my mind went back to misgivings.
"Is that really him? The man from my wife's past, my inner "
