Refusing offers
"Wait a minute." Marvel held Windi's wrist. "Sorry." He then took his hand off Windi's arm. "I only make an offer that can get you out of your current problems. If you accept my offer, then I can take your father to a better hospital than this time. Your father will get better treatment at other hospitals abroad." Marvel.
Windi stared at Marvel flatly. "I think you're kidding, sir. How could you suddenly come to see me and offer me a wedding? We're even new to the world and you've dared to offer an offer that doesn't make sense." Windi.
"I dare to offer it because I have known a lot about your life including your current problems. Again, I would say that I never joke in these circumstances. If you ask why I boldly offered you a marriage, then that's why. I need you right now and vice versa." Marvel.
"Sorry, but I'm not interested." Windi said and was interested in moving on.
"Wait." Marvel held Windi's arm back. Without a word he handed Windi a business card. "If you change your mind, you can contact me immediately. And remember, I'm not kidding about helping your father get to a better hospital." Marvel said firmly.
Windi held the business card Marvel gave him. He simply nodded in response and then chose to leave in front of Marvel. Marvel just let Windi go.
"Why did you let him go?" Dio asked who was behind Marvel.
"Let him go. I'm sure in a few days' time he'll be in touch." Marvel.
Dio smiled faintly hearing that. "You believe too much, but I also believe in your words. I hope he accepts your offer." Dio.
Marvel nodded his head and walked out of the park. Dio followed his steps.
"Where are we going?" Ask Dio.
"home." Answer Marvel briefly. After all, his business tonight was done and it only took him a few more days to get an answer from Windi.
"All right." Dio said according to.
"Thank you for your help tonight. Tomorrow I'll call you back if needed." Marvel said after getting into his car.
Marvel smiled faintly and turned on the engine and ran the car away from the hospital grounds.
While Windi who was already in the room of his father's hospital was seen staring at the figure of his father who was lying on the bed.
"Dad.." - Windi looked over with eyes that began to glaze over. Seeing her father's current pale face always left her helpless and fragile.
"Windi.." said Amri who had opened both eyelids when he realized the arrival of Windi. "Have you eaten yet, son?" Ask Amri.
Windi fell silent and nodded a moment later. He was forced to lie to answer his father's questions because he had forgotten his initial intention to buy food outside after meeting with Marvel.
"Come here, son." Amri said to Windi.
Windi complied and stepped closer to his father.
"Don't be sad anymore. I'll be fine." Said Amri who could see the sadness on his daughter's face at this time.
