Quiet Wife
16. Not Going Home

Not felt, the time of togetherness in the house of Hermawan, Naura's father-in-law who is also Calvin's father-in-law, has been completely ended. Both Calvin and Naura are on their way home. About forty minutes both were in a car that was left air-conditioned, due to hot weather caused by the beach.

About ten minutes ago, Naura had slept next to Calvin. His head was tilted towards the window. Lucky not to hit, Calvin swiftly held Naura's head using a small pillow.

Calvin let out a long sigh as he saw the road in front of him start to get jammed with various vehicles.

This is not a national holiday. In fact, it's already Monday. Why is the road suddenly jammed?

Five minutes passed, finally the crowded streets began to be deserted. Trying to figure out the source of the traffic jam just now, netra Calvin started to venture left and right, who knows something unusual.

Justright. There was a motorcyclist who had an accident who was almost evacuated. It looks like the motorcyclist hit a parked truck in a free parking area. I don't know what the specific cause is.

"Emh! How, like there's an ambulance?" Naura, who had fallen asleep for half an hour, was made to wake up while occasionally rubbing her eyes.

Calvin glanced at Naura. Shortly thereafter, Calvin runs his car at a normal speed.

"There was an accident." Calvin replies, still trying to focus on driving.

"Oh, huh? Where's where?" Naura began to look out the car window. Unfortunately, he did not find where the accident happened.

"Tuh, in the back. I hope nothing serious. The accident was really bad, the same motorbike as the truck until ringsek. So it's grunting."

The look on Naura's face grieved at Calvin's words. Though, pure Naura did not see the happenings. And strangely, suddenly his stomach returned to protest.

"Mas Calvin, can you stop the car for a second?"

"Why?" Calvin glanced at Naura for quite a while. The look on his face changed pias with his hands that suddenly smothered his mouth.

"Me, nausea! Yuck!"

Justright. Naura was back as nauseous as she was that day. Calvin hurriedly stopped his car on the edge of the road which fortunately was quiet.

Without waiting any longer, Naura directly ran out of the car. Again Naura vomited out her guts like the other day. But this time, it felt much more nauseous than that day.

"You sick? The feeling of that time was also gini. Before you left, what did you eat?"

Weak-headed. Naura was still trying to spit out her entrails which unfortunately only clear white liquid came out of there. His head shook slowly to reply to the anxious questions from Calvin.

Damnit damnit! It's too energy draining. Naura's body felt like it was about to collapse, if only Calvin did not immediately hold it, and sit it in the car.

"I'll get you a drink, okay?" Calvin's words were answered by Naura. His body was too limp at the moment.

It did not take long, Calvin again brought a bottle of drinking water that was immediately accepted by Naura. With trembling hands, Naura drank the water little by little, helped by Calvin. It felt enough, Naura distanced the drinking water, then closed her eyes for a moment to neutralize the nausea and dizziness that struck.

"Where? Is it a little better?" The answer in the form of a headband from Naura, making Calvin increasingly anxious.

Should Calvin look for a clinic? But ... not the clinic. Along this road there are only trees. It still takes a few hundred meters more to reach the surrounding area of the population. And it's not necessarily there's a clinic there.

"Mas Calvin!"

"Yes? Where else is uncomfortable, hm?" Naura's weak spirit was quickly retorted by Calvin. Lovingly, Calvin rubbed Naura's slightly cold sweaty black mane.

"My stomach is suddenly uncomfortable. I'm tambahan. I'll be home tomorrow, okay?"

"Well, would you like to turn around, hm?" Naura quickly shook her head.

"Don't! I'll worry,"

"Well, how are we going to find an inn?" Calvin was finally able to sigh in relief when he saw the head nod of Naura.

Without wasting any more time, Calvin then walked around his car, after Calvin had previously closed the car door next to Naura.

As he got inside, Calvin put his seatbelt on Naura, then put his seatbelt on, before turning the car back on and driving it on the road.

After driving his car back, Calvin continued to steal a glance at Naura who tried to close her eyes, while rubbing her stomach which he said felt uncomfortable.

How lucky Calvin is right now. He did not need to drive too long, and had found an inn that was not too large in size, but enough to rest Naura for a moment.

Calvin quickly entered the temporary parking area. After turning off the engine and opening the car door, Calvin still had time to glance at Naura. Her burly hand touched one of Naura's cheeks until it woke her up.

"I'm gonna check in first. Wait here for a minute, yeah!"

...****...

After several steps, Calvin finally finished checking in. With no intention of disturbing Naura, Calvin carries her body into the hotel. Then, it made Naura surprised when she realized where her current position was.

"Mas Calvin why even carry me? I-I can still walk, really!" Naura whispered. I don't know why his voice suddenly got so hard at this moment.

Whether because there were some people who were watching them, or because of the nausea and vomiting scene earlier, Naura did not know for sure.

But clearly, it did not take long, the two finally arrived in front of a hotel room. Without saying a word, Calvin took Naura down from his carrier. Groping the pants pocket to pick up the room key.

When the door opened, Calvin was about to hold Naura again, but his movements stopped as Naura held him back.

"Related?" Ask Calvin, doubt it. Take it from Naura, inevitably Calvin appreciates.

Without intending to say any other words, Naura started walking step by step into the hotel room. His steps looked so slow, and Calvin was involuntarily made to grieve by it.

Slowly, Naura began to sit or perhaps more precisely began to lay her body on the bed. Both of his eyebrows frowned reflexively, when again his stomach seemed to tremble strangely like someone who was rumbling.

"Want me to pesenin porridge?" Calvin asked softly while fingering his forehead and then continued to the area of Naura's neck. Warm and a little cold sweat.

At first, Naura shook her head slowly at the answer to Calvin's question. But when he saw Calvin's cold face, Naura nodded even though she had to.

"Wait here for a second, yeah! Don't go anywhere!"

...****...

"Sorry, yes, Mah! Maybe Calvin's just like Naura's coming home tomorrow."

"..."

"Yes, this is Naura suddenly not feeling well, so we want to go first in the hotel."

"..."

"No need! Naura is not pa-pa, really, Mah. There's me taking care of it. This is now he's sleeping, eating porridge."

"..."

"It was, after all, told to take medicine. But the cure didn't come in and her Naura threw up again. So, just eat porridge, anyway, Mah."

"..."

"Yes, it will be cultivated again to be persuaded by his Naura to take medicine."

"..."

"Yes, I hung up the phone. It will be said that Naura has woken up."

"..."

"Yes, Mah! Okay, don't worry. Naura is me, right here. Hm ... Aye." Yeah."

A short phone call to his mother, immediately turned off after it felt enough for an explanation. The scheduled day had to go home, had to be postponed because Naura was suddenly sick.

Of course the news was greeted by Fani across the phone. His mother who is quite a bully already intends to follow here. Fortunately, that did not happen, because Calvin had already explained it in more detail.

Not felt, time has begun to come afternoon. It had been a long time that Calvin had been sitting beside the body of Naura who was sound asleep. Honey, the look on his face is still the same.

"Don't hurt anymore, Nau! I feel like I'm going crazy seeing you get sick like this." A heavy gust of breath seemed to keep Calvin puffing out lately.

Slowly but surely, Calvin lays down beside Naura. One of his hands was raised to keep away some of the hair that covered part of Naura's face.

Again. Calvin felt again sedated by that beautiful face. His mind wildly floated on the scene when the two were still at Hermawan's house.

The beautiful Naura with her beautifully curled and contained body, was made to moan helplessly under Calvin's confinement. If remembered carefully, their second night of the time was so satisfying. Calvin seemed to be made to float because of Naura. And maybe so is Naura. Because on the side of them doing that, Naura unceasingly bellowed her name.

Calvin involuntarily pulled both corners of his lips while bringing his sleeping position closer to Naura.

"Metake good, Naura! I love you!"

...****...

"Where, Auntie?" The soft mouth of a beautiful and graceful girl's mouth, instantly resuscitated a middle-aged woman who had just completed a phone call.

"Eh? Sorry, yes! Auntie was dreaming. After all, Calvin just called, he says he can't go home now."

"Lho, why? Calvin's okay, right, Auntie?" The girl with her hair curled up began to show a worried hue on her face.

A heavy gasp from the woman who was none other than Fani, Calvin's mother, made the girl even more worried.

"Calvin is not pa-pa. But she said Naura suddenly got sick, so now they are again checking in at the hotel. Maybe I'll just go home tomorrow,"

The two eyebrows of the girl reflexively frowned deeply. "Naura? Naura who, huh, Auntie? As for me, Calvin doesn't have a cousin named Naura?"

Fani looks who then patted his eel while laughing crisply. "Oh, yes. Aunt forgot to tell you. Calvin is married. And Naura is the name of his wife Calvin, Aunt's son-in-law."

Like being struck by lightning in the afternoon, his heart seemed to slide deep into the bottom of the deepest abyss. His pair of eyeballs suddenly heated up almost glazed over. The unexpected fact that he heard from Fani's mouth, in fact, can make his mind shaken.

Calvin ... is married?
