"Mah!"
"Hm."
Naura's face turned wry when the mama only replied to her speech with lazy demeanor.
"Yes, Mamaaa!" Not out of reason, Naura teen shakes the shoulders of her mother who is busy cooking side dishes for dinner.
"Whyaa? Mama's busy, Naura!"
"Well, peg auditioned!" Whine Naura, start to distance yourself a little from the mama.
"Audition?" Beo the mama, who was immediately embraced quickly by Naura. "What audition? Cook it?"
"No!"
"Continue?"
"Singing audition!"
There was laughter from the mouth of the mama interrupted his activity cutting various types of vegetables to be cooked as a second side dish. "What you really are. Can she sing?"
"Kok, then? Naura is also a good singer in school! Here, Mama's horrifying,"
"Try singing. If it's good, Mama's taking you to the audition right now." Speech from his mother, made Naura a teenager challenged. With complete confidence, Naura responded to her mother's mission.
Before actually singing, Naura tried to relax herself. Pause a few times to get ready to sing.
"The sky is so dark
The rain did not stop
I must witness my love
Been unsaved
I want to go home the day
I want to fix it
I need you so much
How dare you go
And not back ...
Where is heaven
Let me take the wait
Your place with me
The ladder of heaven
Let me find you to be with you ..."
The sound of applause from the kitchen door, instantly distract Naura, not least the mother who felt complacent when she heard the melodious song from her daughter.
"Wuih, Papa's son is singing apparently! Want to do a singing audition, right?" Hermawan said happily, while the wife just smiled while shaking her head.
"Well, Papa agrees Naura's voice is good! Follow me, Mah, pleaseee!" Naura put on a sad face, hoping that her mother would accept her request.
I heard a heavy breath coming from my mother's mouth. "Let's think again, yeah."
"Kok, then? Pah, Mama won't let me audition for singing!" Naura's turn whined at Hermawan who was made to scratch the back of the head which was clearly not itchy.
"Euh, you refer to your Mama again, yes! Don't share Papa, Papa doesn't understand!"
After those days, even a little Naura still did not want to stop to continue persuading her mother within the span of this week.
In fact, his mother was quite tired of hearing Naura's whining and the sound of her singing that was increasingly heard blaring throughout the house.
"Had, you're so noisy, Nau! Yes, yes, tomorrow Mama anterin audition. Yeah, don't sing anymore! It's noisy! Mama's bellows are full of your shrill singing."
"Yey! Thanks Mama, muach!" That day, like a miracle, her mother accepted Naura's request.
As promised, the next day, Naura actually set out among her mother for a singing audition held in Jakarta. The time is about three hours from home if using a private car or public transport. That too with a note on the way not jammed in a day. If it gets stuck, it can last for more than three hours.
Arriving at the audition place, Naura who had already registered via online, immediately took the lottery number. His big smile never faded from yesterday.
Especially when Naura declared to pass the first round. His smile was wide. A warm embrace continued Naura gave to her mother who was willing to take her to the audition.
The days seem to go on smoothly. From qualifying for the first, second, preliminary rounds, to arriving in the top five, everything felt like a dream for Naura. He kept calling his mom and dad to ask for prayers to get through to the next round.
When Naura was practicing singing with other contestants who were also in the top five, her phone suddenly rang. Mama's name is on the top screen of her phone.
"Who, Nau?" One of the female contestants of Naura's age asked her subtly.
"Mama!" Naura had already started to rise up to pick up the call.
"Didn't he just call?" Ask one of the other contestants who is about a year older than Naura who is also female.
"Hello, Mah? Tumben Mama called again. Mama kangen, yes, same Naura?!"
"Hello, Nau! Can you come out for a second? If you can stand in front of the training building, yes!"
Naura's reflexes frowned. "What's wrong, anyway?"
"Udah, spiel! Mom wait, yeah!"
"Huh? Wait, he meant" The phone call was immediately interrupted by his mother. Curious, Naura rushed out of the training building. Surely after he gave a quick goodbye to the other contestants.
Upon arrival in front of the training building, Naura unceasingly continued to scoop up as much air as possible, after a long time Naura ran from the third floor to the front yard of the building which passed directly by the highway.
"MORRA!" Feeling called, Naura who was still confused by what she was doing, was made to look up straight ahead.
Indeed, Naura could not lie about the feeling of pleasure that hit her chest at that time. Her mother, who Naura had never thought of, would meet her today, carrying a large bouquet of flowers with a jubilant run across the highway.
Honey, when Naura just waved her hand to say hello to her mother, time seemed to stop spinning when a motorized vehicle at high speed broke through the red light, until it hit the body of the mother to bounce far away.
...****...
Naura widened her eyes, when a nightmare that had only been stored in memory, began to enter her subconscious.
His chest moved up and down, and his breathing was so hunting. Sweat and sweat even felt pouring profusely soaked almost all over his body. Her hands shook violently along with the occasional Naura combing the rough of her hair blocking her face.
Holy hooch! Why dream like that?
When looking at the wall clock in the room, two o'clock in the morning was large there. Trying to shake off the uncomfortable feeling, Naura turned to Calvin who seemed to be sleeping quietly beside her.
Helaan napaa heavy start Naura blow. I feel tired, really! After a day of crying and complaining about everything to Calvin, Naura began to fall asleep at what time.
But to be sure, Naura fell asleep in Calvin's arms, whispering soothing sentences after sentences.
What do I have to do now? I'm not sleepy, but I'm afraid I'll wake up alone! But I also dare not wake up Calvin!
Naura again sobbed when she recalled what time it was and the dark atmosphere that filled every corner of her room. There was only dim lighting from the sleeping lights in each of the nightstand drawers.
Feeling an unusual movement from the bed, Calvin opened his eyes. And his first gaze locked onto Naura who was sitting inching on the bed while sobbing.
"Naura? You cry, hm?" Sahutan with a hoarse tone managed to divert Naura's attention.
Knowing that Calvin had just acknowledged him, Naura jumped into Calvin's arms. The contents began to sound quite clear, so that Calvin quickly grabbed the tiny body.
"Naura why?" Although Calvin's drowsiness has not finished, but the feeling of worry on Naura remains the most dominant.
"I-I'm a nightmare! I dreamt of those moments where Mama died."
Calvin was silent for a while. Before long, Calvin takes Naura back to sleep next to him. Do not forget to continue to hug Naura's body.
"Out of that nightmare. Now, you sleep, yeah!"
"But-"
"Naura!" Call Calvin, gently. Makes Naura unable to say 'no' afterwards.
"Pregnant mothers can't stay up late. Tomorrow morning we'll tell you again, okay?" Calvin's next fine speech is no longer answered orally by Naura. The woman took a deep breath while nodding.
Slowly, his eyes began to close. The feeling of fear seemed to melt into nowhere, along with the subtle speech and warm embrace of Calvin.
And, yeah. Naura, who was no longer drowsy, has now completely fallen asleep back to dreamland.
Before closing his eyes, Calvin secretly glanced at Naura. A thin, almost invisible smile Calvin put on his sleepy face. Without a hint of hesitation, Calvin kissed Naura long on the forehead, before finally deciding to fall asleep.
...****...
"Where's Naura, Vin?" Gentle advice from Fani, instantly get rid of the daydreams of Calvin who was preparing a breakfast of lightning for himself.
After a quick glance, Calvin again focused his attention on some fresh bread strands that he was mashing with chocolate jam. "Still asleep. Titip Naura, yes, Mah! Calvin has morning class today, but it won't be long. Just two courses."
"Yes already. Careful, yes, Vin! Take it easy, Naura let Mama take care. Mama's not going to the restaurant either."
With a hurried look, Calvin ate some of the bread along with a glass of milk. When he was finished, Calvin ran to the shoe rack. Wear it as fast as lightning, until it has finally finished and is really about to set off.
"Calvin's leaving first! Say hello to Naura and Bang Arvin."
"Yes! Don't speed, inget!" Fani's sweat, after Calvin took the time to kiss the back of his hand, then ran out of the house with a bag and helmet. While the key of the motor has been in the pocket of his pants.
"Hoam! What's the noise, a big storm?" Coinciding with Calvin who had actually set off to leave, Arvin came out of the room with a still heavily sleepy condition. The young man woke up solely because his suddenly revolting stomach was asking to be filled.
"Your husband left. Tumben is awake? Usually wake up."
"Lapers. What's your mom cooking?" A slow whistle from Fani's mouth that makes Arvin immediately focus his attention.
"Mama has just woken up, hasn't cooked yet. Calvin's breakfast is just the same bread as milk."
"Well, even though it's really laper, until it feels like you're going to die! Akh, laper, Mah!" Arvin whined a bell while holding his stomach so dramatically.
Not the anxious feeling that Arvin received from his attitude like this. But the lazy sled of Fani. "Have the firstborn son, even more mature. I don't know Mama anymore!"
