An hour or less has passed. Calvin and Naura, it seems both began to feel tired due to walking while pushing the trolley to and fro in search of food and other household needs.
Now, the two are in line at the last line. You could say the super market is currently crowded. They don't want to have to wait long enough.
"Hopefully no?" Calvin asked attentively. He was quite sensitive to see his wife who cleared her throat several times beside him.
Feeling called, Naura turned her face to Calvin. A thin smile accompanied by his head that shook slowly was the answer to Calvin's question.
"Lied!" Calvin suddenly wiped the sweat dripping from Naura's forehead. Calvin's action made Naura gasp for a while.
"I'll drink first, yeah. You wait here." As Calvin was about to waltz away, Naura immediately prevented him by pulling the end of Calvin's shirt.
"Why?" Calvin frowned confusedly looking at the look on Naura's face that seemed to be about to say something.
While waiting, Calvin thought Naura would re-type something on her phone to communicate. But Naura shook her head several times.
"So? Don't want to?" Ask Calvin. To be honest, sometimes Calvin did not understand the slowness of Naura who only replied to his words with a nod or a headband.
Maybe if you use sign language, Calvin will understand a little. But Naura doesn't even know what sign language is. Calvin becomes increasingly convinced that Naura is not really mute.
Seeing the look on Calvin's face that was still confused, Naura hurriedly pulled out her phone again. Again he typed something in there, which Naura then showed Calvin.
No, I'm not thirsty. I'm just a little tired, but not much. Little, really! Seriously! And when it's done, it's gone, too!
"Related?"
Naura's quick nod, prompted by Calvin's long breath. "Yes already. If you're tired, you wait for me in the car, will you?"
Naura quickly shook her head in response. Calvin took a long breath. "Yes, I don't mean it. The queue is also good. Hold on a second, yeah!"
...****...
After waiting in line for a long time at the super-market cashier, Calvin and Naura begin to carry their groceries to the parking lot, where his father Calvin's car is parked there.
Naura who carried the least amount of groceries deliberately walked early. The woman rushed around the car to open the trunk door. Carefully and painstakingly, Naura put one after another of their groceries in there.
"Let me just." Calvin's words were thrown when Naura's two hands were about to take over the groceries in her hands.
Without intending to refuse, Naura simply smiled slightly as she moved aside so that Calvin could easily put the rest of his groceries away.
When all was finished, Calvin was about to close the trunk door, but a slow pat from Naura on his back, breaking Calvin's attention.
"Yes, Nau. Why?"
Naura again showed the line of text she typed on her phone to Calvin.
I'm going to the toilet for a second. Pisser.
"Do you want anther?" Naura quickly shook her head. After a while, Naura signaled to Calvin that she would run straight to the toilet.
Calvin who immediately understood was only able to nod his head while inviting Naura.
After leaving Naura to the toilet, Calvin continued his activities that had not had time to close the luggage door. Not long after, now Calvin began dragging both feet to get into the car.
When Calvin had just opened the door, the sound of a quick step from the other direction could again stop his activities. A thin smile was then imprinted on Calvin's face. His body reflexes instantly turned back.
"Fright ony?"
A thin smile that lasted a while was required to fade, when someone Calvin thought was Naura who had returned from the toilet, in fact was someone else.
Not only did Calvin's smile fade. The look on his face even turned sour, with deeply furrowed brows. In fact, both of his hands involuntarily began to clench strongly.
"Hi, Cal! How have you been all this time? I-I miss you so much!"
Calvin reflexes grimly when he heard the sickening words coming out of the mouth of a woman he once loved. Evely.
Dear. The love that Calvin maintained betrayed him. Evelyn had an affair with one of Calvin's best friends about three months ago.
Not long ago, but Calvin had managed to bury his feelings of love, until what was left now was no longer the feeling of love for the woman. Except the feeling of hate.
"Ngapain my nyamperin? Where's your guy?"
"Lo's? How come you're being rude to me, Cal? You didn't do that, you know!"
"Yes, you weren't the gatel girl I knew."
Silent. As if slapped by reality, there were no more authentic voices coming from Evelyn's mouth.
As Calvin was about to continue his steps into the car, Evelyn jumped into his arms. As if she no longer had shameless veins, the woman hugged Calvin so tightly that she would occasionally sob like someone most hurt.
"Down, Evelyn!" Cried Calvin, still trying to restrain himself from the turbulent anger in his chest.
"No! I want to apologize to you, Cal! Shoot me, please!"
"Nothing we need to talk about. I don't care about your apology either!" Still in a state of trying to remain calm, Calvin again spoke firmly while trying to push Evelyn's body that was increasingly attached to his body.
"But-"
Calvin felt his heart stop beating, as his pair of eyeballs unintentionally glanced towards someone who was standing quite far from his position.
Roughly, Calvin immediately pushed Evelyn's body back a few steps, causing the woman to hang up her sentence.
Without any intention of caring for Evelyn who was made into shock, Calvin then ran towards Naura who had been out of nowhere since when he continued to stand nailing there.
"It's not what you see, Nau! I-" Calvin paused his speech as Naura's index finger stuck to the surface of his lips.
She didn't overreact, really! He smiled and grasped Calvin's newly realized hand, shaking violently.
Slowly, Calvin took a deep breath, grasping Naura's hand. "I'll be clear on the road, yeah." Calvin said, then pulled Naura's hand slowly, and brought her right in front of Evelyn who was still not out of place.
Evelyn secretly chuckles to see the closeness and change of Calvin's expression that looks so worried if the woman next to him will misunderstand.
Who the hell, is he?
"The horror is good. I'm married! And this is my wife! I beg you equally. Please don't disturb my life! Forget me, because anyway our relationship is finished also because you chose my betrayin! Wanna?"
"W-what? The marriage? Wife? Cal, you if you want my manasin, you don't have to go that far! He was also the most foreigner who happened to pass by. Aye, right?"
For whatever sake, Evelyn felt her heart break upon hearing the rows of words spoken from Calvin's mouth. As much as possible he thought positively, if what Calvin said just now, no more solely for the sake of making Evelyn jealous.
Dear. Calvin's next words, making Evelyn really feel devastated so much.
"Gue doesn't care if you believe it or not, obviously, she's my wife!"
...****...
From nine o'clock at night trying to close his eyes, in fact until this moment, Calvin still can not sleep into a dream. Again his head turned towards the wall clock in his room. Eleven o'clock in the night, it was clear there.
"Ck! Why, I can't sleep, anyway?" Distraught, Calvin decides to rise from his bed on the floor.
While standing, Calvin's attention focused on Naura's calm, slumbering face. As if there was no burden in her mind, when a few hours ago, the woman almost misunderstood the results of someone from Calvin's past who suddenly hugged her body.
"Naura, Naura! Not jealous of what, see your own husband hugged another girl? Angry bit, cake. What, cake. Plates are feelings."
Whether there was a wind then what, suddenly Calvin came up to the bed next to Naura which was still empty. Carefully, Calvin pulled the Naura blanket and entered it. Sleeping sideways to Naura, who was also sleeping sideways, Calvin watched every inch of Naura's face. At least the woman was not disturbed, but Calvin continued to move beside her.
"Naura!" Call Calvin, slow down. Unfortunately, the owner of the name had completely fallen asleep in his sleep. Calvin's reflexes are upset for whatever reason.
"For what reason, I want to beat that malem again, Nau! Aargh! Damnit damnit! How beautiful again!" Calvin grumbled indistinctly in his place. However, no matter how often Calvin spoke, Naura remained in her position and circumstances.
"Naura!" Again. Calvin tells Naura, but this time his index fingers are involved to poke his wife's cheek softly.
"I want to sleep here, okay? Underneath it doesn't feel good, my back hurts. Tomorrow morning don't be surprised to see me move here. Yea?" After quite satisfied talking to himself, Calvin then brought his sleeping position closer, while wrapping his arms around Naura's slender waist.
There was a soft groan from Naura, which had made Calvin surprised instead of playing.
"Cirain is awake." Calvin muttered, when checking the look on Naura's face that was still asleep. Without any intention of waiting any longer, Calvin closed his eyes beside Naura. Not to forget with his arms that boldly hugged Naura's waist.
"Good night, Naura!"
