...Dede Sean's...
...Mom Naura...
...Papa Calvin's...
...****...
"What's that son-in-law?" Naura stopped her footsteps, puzzled over what to answer the question from her little son.
"Hm, that son-in-law ..."
"FATHER!" Sean squealed loudly, making Naura stop her speech.
Not yet had Naura breathe a sigh of relief, Sean immediately ran as fast as lightning towards his papa who was waving while wearing a wusudawan suit.
"Sean, slow down, don't run!" Naura was already very anxious, especially with the people passing around. Luckily, Calvin swiftly captured his little son and brought him into the fold.
"Yeey, Sean met Papaaa!" Spoiled, Sean put both his hands around Calvin's neck. Not caring about the face of his father who will occasionally be hit by a small aquarium containing turtles given by a foreign woman named Syifa.
"Udah finished?" Naura asked subtly, while about to take Sean from Calvin. Unfortunately, his little son refused to return to his mother's arms. With a sullen look, Sean increasingly draped both hands on Calvin's neck.
"Sean wants to go with Papa, Mama!"
"But Papa again bothered, same Mama first, yuk!" Naura was about to go back in line, but Sean was crying hysterically, causing some people walking around to look surprised.
"Yes, yeah, Sean's the same Papa! Don't cry anymore, okay? Sean wants a snack, right? Yuk, Papa buyin!" The cry of the toddler died down immediately when he heard the sweet bow from his papa's mouth. Sean quickly rubbed his face that had been torn by tears for a moment.
"Sean wants ice kim!" Sean's tiny fingers pointed to an ice cream stand selling a variety of shapes and flavors.
Without waiting for long, Calvin nodded. His one idle hand drew the fine hand of his wife. "Dear to have ice cream?"
"Hm, no, deh. Make Sean,"
"Why?" Calvin's eyebrows looked shriveled. Naura had not had time to reply, Sean's words immediately diverted his attention.
"Papa, come! Kim ice!"
"Eh, yes! Come on, what do you want?" With a firm step, Calvin walked towards the ice cream stand along with his little son whom he carried on the left and also his wife whose hand Calvin held on the right.
No doubt, their togetherness received positive attention from people who took the time to look at the interaction of the small family. It looks so sweet and perfect.
Arriving at the ice cream stand, Sean said to his papa to take him down. Of course Calvin could only follow that request. His body crouched down to equalize his position with Sean.
"Where do you want to go?" Calvin asked, occasionally turning anxious on the two cheeks of his son's bulging, increasingly look adorable.
"Sean wants this one! The stobeli!" Sean's head looked up with his little toe slightly on tiptoe. Her little finger pointed back at something she wanted.
Calvin chuckles. One of his hands was fatally poking Sean's puffed cheek. "Where would you like?" Calvin's attention then turned to Naura who was standing behind them.
"Mama, Sean's not Papa." Naura said, ending with a sweet smile.
"Yes, same thing. Mama's eating ice cream both the same Papa." Calvin, in the end. As for Naura, the young mama only smiled faintly with her face slightly lowered.
Before long, Calvin and Sean return. Sean's two tiny hands carried a medium-sized bowl of ice cream along with his spoon.
Sean was not carried by Calvin. The toddler refused and walked over to taste her favorite strawberry-flavored ice cream. As for Calvin, the man showed him another bowl of ice cream stuffed into a scraping bag.
"Here, Big Mom!" Sean did not refuse like he had just. The toddler was busy eating his ice cream until the straws.
"Hm, let's get a seat first, yuk!" Take Calvin. His one idle hand romantically hugged Naura's body from the side.
Naura looked speechless with her two eyes busy exploring. "How is it there?"
Calvin followed Naura's direction. His head nodded as he caught an empty bench that was positioned just below the shady tree. Looks quite cool when occupied especially in hot weather like today.
"Come on! Sean wants to be with Papa or Mama?" Calvin's question was answered quietly by Sean. "Mama!" Said Sean, hugging Naura's body.
...****...
"Darling!"
"Hm?" Naura, who was busy watching her little son play with a turtle, turned to Calvin.
"Why?" Instead of immediately replying to his wife, Calvin leaned his head on Naura's shoulder. Both of his eyes even began to shut for a moment.
There was a long breath of Calvin's mouth that made Naura a little wonder.
"Darling?" Call Naura, while touching the smooth surface of Calvin's face. Occasionally, Naura would also steal a glance to see the look on Calvin's face and then continue to pay attention to his son's small activities.
"Hm."
Naura's turn took a deep breath. "You why? Any more problems?"
"No."
"Continue?"
Calvin slowly took up his sitting position. His head turned to Naura, then on Sean.
"Sean!" That subtle call made Sean look up. Her innocent smile expanded upon learning that it was her board that had just called her name.
Without thinking, Sean ran towards Calvin. The toddler forgot the turtle he had released from the aquarium. Arriving in front of Calvin, Sean spread out his hands asking to be carried.
Calvin and Naura who saw him smiled with anxiety. Calvin quickly raised the body of his son to sit on his lap.
"Today, Papa wants to announce the good news with Mama and Sean." One of Calvin's idle hands grabbed Naura's hand to hold it tight.
Before actually continuing, Calvin took a deep breath first. "From tomorrow, we move into our house." Calvin said, Naura widened her eyes.
"W-what? Our house?" The answer in the form of a steady nod from Calvin, made Naura more surprised. His heart was made to beat fast because of it.
"You-you"
"It's all thanks to you and Sean. Now, we have our own home for our little family." Naura fell silent permeating the word for word that Calvin blurted out. The corner of his heart warmed up, and Naura did not know what else to reply.
"Why all of a sudden?"
Calvin chuckled as he clasped his hand tightly. "Who said this all of a sudden?"
Naura again furrowed her brows in confusion. The sound of long breaths from Calvin made Naura curious.
"I've been planning on doing this since you were pregnant with Sean. But, I was only able to make that happen today. I'm sorry!" The smile that Calvin showed turned bitter. His head slightly lowered to stare fixedly at the face of his little son who was still faithful to pay attention to the interaction between Calvin and Naura.
The innocent look in his eyes made Calvin feel helpless. A feeling of unprovoked tightness often filled Calvin's chest simply because of Sean's innocent gaze.
Sometimes he asks unusual questions. What would have happened to Sean if Calvin had never really come back that day?
"Sean!" Lovingly, Calvin gently rubbed Sean's black mane. The toddler smiled sweetly as his papa again called out his name.
"Yes, Papa!"
"What a pity Sean is,"
"Sean also loves Papa!" Sean widened his smile. Both of his tiny hands were stretched out to be clad back around Calvin's neck.
Naura smiled warmly at the beautiful sight. "If it's Mama, Sean, don't you?"
Sean's attention was split in two. His head was staring at his mom and dad in turn.
"Darling!" He said, without realizing it even invited his own laughter to Naura and Calvin.
"Here hug!" Naura began to stretch out her hands, not forgetting to put on a very sweet smile for her little son.
Sean was confused between choosing to hug his mother or stay where he was, where he was hugging his papa tightly. However, the feeling immediately melted when Calvin who first approached the position of sitting and hugged Naura from the side. Her sweet smile was imprinted without making up.
"Nice! Once again!" An unexpected blessing that begins with the sound of a photo shot from a camera, removes the focus of the small family.
The look on his third face turned one hundred and eighty degrees when he realized who had just photographed their togetherness.
"Of Aviiinnn!" Sean screamed loudly as he jumped off Calvin's lap and ran towards Arvin.
Not just Arvin. There is still Mama Fani, Papa Divo and of course Papa Hermawan as well. The four came after Calvin's graduation. No one wants to miss this precious opportunity that happens once in a lifetime.
"Hi, Boy! Oh, bring some cotton candy. Whose favorite, huh?" With great kindness, Arvin carried Sean while showing him a blue cotton candy wrapped in a transparent plastic wrap.
The smile on Sean's face grew. His anxious laughter broke as the cotton candy turned to his tiny hand. "Thank you, Mrs Avin! Tumben this hali Om so good cama Sean?"
Fani, Divo and Hermawan, giggle reflexes hearing Sean's reply. Not with Arvin who was pouting because of Sean's words that pierced his heart.
"Sean, can't say that!" Naura said she was warning Sean. While his little son was just grinning wide without sin.
"Where's the show? Uhhuh?" Arvin said in the middle of the atmosphere. Surely Arvin's remark was aimed at Calvin who seemed increasingly sticky with his wife.
"Formally way. Just a photo. It's on here to the photo, right?" Calvin stared one by one his family members with a nosy look. It was warmly welcomed by everyone.
"That's it! Papa cut his hair, dear dong if not a photo?" Divo combed her hair to the back of a young boy who was being hit by a kasmaran.
And, yeah. The gelagatnya managed to make the wife clucked while ruffled waist. "Old man, inget, don't be weird!"
"The horror!" Timpal Arvin, make everyone laugh again.
Unexpectedly, Hermawan walked to the side of the Divo. His arm with the male draped over the shoulder of the Divo said,
"Why indeed? Think it's just young people who can style? We who are grandfathers can also be. 'Can, Div?" Hermawan. Instantly the feeling of despair in the Divo immediately melted and changed into a confidence.
"Rubber. Papa agrees with Besan's words!"
In between the joking togetherness and laughter, Sean secretly pulled Arvin's shirt. "Of Avin! What are they talking about?" Ask Sean. Arvin reflexes turned his head and ended up smirking Sean's puffed cheeks.
"Still small, you don't need to know. Here, mending Om kiss-"
"Once again you kiss my son's cheek, your muzzle runs out on me!" Delikan sharp unexpected from Calvin, spontaneously made Arvin choke spit.
"Calm down, Vin! Just last one, promise!" For the sake of mutual peace, Arvin chose to give up this time.
No pa-palah, later fit Calvin again no, I can steal kiss again the same as my favorite pound!
"Ekhem. He said he wanted a photo, right? Go, gas! All of you are being brought along by the same photographer." To shorten the time, Arvin began to reveal the matter. A foreign man who is an expert in the field of photography has from a long time Arvin prepared only for a special day at this time.
"Come, come on, line everything! Sean's same picture of Om first, yes, later the same Mama Papa. Okay?"
Beyond expectations, Sean shook his head quickly at Arvin's invitation. "Don't want to, Sean wants to be with Papa!"
"Kok, then? Same Om-" had not been able to Arvin finish his sentence, Calvin had taken over Sean first. The look on his face looked so satisfied especially when Sean blatantly just wanted to take a picture with his papa, Calvin.
"Sorry, Sean's my son! Excuse me forever,"
"Ck! Everywhere if you'll excuse me, yes, a minute, not forever!" Grunts Arvin, staring at Sean's nanar who instead waved his hand so innocently when held by Calvin.
Siall's! Arvin would also like a photo with his little bangs! It could be that his voice was so funny and clever to speak.
"What kind of style cake dah, can you make a child as funny and handsome as that? Cannot be abandoned!"
"Okay, the line is okay! Counted to three we shoot. One, two ... ti-ga!"
Czechoslovakia!
