On a clear day at nine in the morning, Naura busied herself with a swing on the beach. His gaze was so focused on the blue sea ahead there with the pounding waves that were still categorized as normal.
Daydreamed. Now that busyness becomes another part of life from Naura. His mind was anchored to Calvin. Sometimes, his mind began to imagine where Calvin would run to him from the direction of the sea.
Dear. That never happened. As hard as Naura denies about her husband who has left, and continues to hope she will return, she still does not return. Maybe this was fate for Naura.
Even so, Naura still felt this was unfair. At least let her fetus be born into the world and see what her father looked like, if indeed God did not allow Naura and Calvin to live together.
Yep. Naura will not ask for selfish requests. Naura just can't bear it if her fetus is born, how should she describe what her father looks like?
"Naura!" Naura's short daydreams are required. Naura quickly wiped away the tears that had been dripping from one of her eyes.
Before actually turning around, Naura cleared her throat to neutralize her feelings. "Huh-yes?" The smile that Naura had just put on, was required to wear off when she found out who had just called her name.
"Can I sit here?" The young man who was yesterday in the kitchen of Naura's house, aka Ivan, asked subtly while pointing at one other swing beside Naura.
There was a slight sense of unwillingness as the swing began to be held by Ivan. It's nothing, it's just that Calvin used to sit there. But, does Naura have to ban it?
"Sit down." Naura. His head began to look the other way. His face was sad and sad.
For the most part, Naura missed Calvin.
"Eh, Nau!" Ivan called Naura without any intention of focusing on her. As for Naura, the woman was again made to look at Ivan.
"Why?"
There was a long breath of Ivan's mouth. His head looked at Naura. "You ... Really don't want to be the same as me?"
Naura frowned confusedly as well as nervously. Afraid that the answer would offend Ivan. As if sensitized, Ivan laughed softly at Naura's confused reaction.
"Udah, not pa-pa, be honest."
"Em .. I don't want to. As far as I know, SD time there's no Ivan."
"Masa, anyway? Ada, Nau!"
"No! My memory is good, there's no way I'm wrong." Steady Naura, making Ivan again made to laugh by her.
"If so, know the same name Satria Ivan Nugraha?" Now, Naura seemed to think first. His two eyeballs suddenly grew wide as past memories sprung up one by one.
"Geez! You're Satria? So, now I'm Ivan? Why didn't you say from the beginning?" Naura's laughter was then clearly imprinted on her face.
And, yeah. It was successful in making Ivan misbehaved so that it ended up throwing away face.
"Hey, Satria! What, so Ivan?" Without Ivan guessing, Naura poked her shoulder a few times. Again Ivan was surprised and increasingly misbehaved.
"Satria, Satria! Think for yourself. Others call him Ivan, only you call me Satria. Sometimes I call him Satpam." Ivan, puffed. However, his heart could not be lied to if he was misbehaved by Naura's sweet smile.
Damnit damnit! I could have been seduced by a beautiful pregnant woman on the beach. Could crazy!
"Oh, huh? Forgot, hehe." Naura shouts without sin. Ivan responded.
"Em, yes, yes. Re-acquaintance, would you?" An offer from Naura, made Ivan turn his head.
"Recognition?" Beo Ivan, who quickly embraced Naura. "Well, how do you try,"
"Ekhem. Yura! His wife Calvin Star Regartha who is now .. again gone." Naura put on a stiff smile, as she was still unable to confirm Calvin's status.
"Didn't he die?"
Ivan's question made Naura pout. Naura quickly lowered her hand that was about to shake Ivan's hand.
"No, tuh. My husband ... is not dead. If he dies, I have to see his body. In the meantime, until now I haven't seen the body, which means there's a good chance my husband hasn't died." Naura reflexes to throw her face away as tears again escape down her cheeks.
Unlike the case with Naura, Ivan just fell silent while swallowing all Naura's words about her husband.
Honestly, his chest hurts hearing that. Not because it was sad, but because the feelings of love seemed to be torn indirectly.
Ivan has loved Naura for a long time. When was SD? Aye! Like monkey love, but unfortunately, monkey love is even propagated to adulthood. And arguably also, Ivan continues to harbor his feelings alone without Naura knowing.
Since graduating from Elementary School, Ivan was required to move to the next city with his family. Surprisingly, despite being separated for nearly a dozen years, Ivan still has feelings for Naura.
Unfortunately, Naura is not. About two weeks ago when Ivan decided to return to pursue Naura, Ivan was presented with a reality in which he said, Naura was married and was pregnant. However, there is also another news where her husband Naura is rumored to have died due to being dragged by a sea storm.
And it seems, the news is true. But when asked directly to Naura, the woman did not agree. She denied it and insisted that her husband was still alive.
How pity.
...****...
Late in the evening, Naura walks out of the house alone. Due to the slightly cold and windy weather, Naura wore long clothes to wrap her body.
Both of his legs quickly sat on the bench of the courtyard of the house to gaze at the beautiful twilight sun without even a hint of dazzling eyes.
Holy hooch! Naura missed Calvin.
When Naura was still faithfully daydreaming, her stomach suddenly rumbled. Not because of hunger, but because the possibility of the fetus is also missing the figure of his father.
Naura looked down miserably for the umpteenth time. His hand again stretched out stroking his stomach. Hoping that by doing so, Naura could slightly dispel the feelings that her fetus also felt.
"Why is it outside?" The friendly spirit comes from the father. He just finished his afternoon shower.
Naura let out a heavy sigh without even turning her head towards Hermawan who started to sit on the bench beside her.
"Naura?" Call Hermawan. One of his hands touched the back of his daughter's hand.
"Princess Papa why, hm?" Ask Hermawan again. But that did not necessarily make Naura look up to face him.
"I'm .. afraid, Pah." Naura said, after a long time the woman lowered her head and fell silent.
"What are you afraid of, hm?" Lovingly, Hermawan stroked Naura's black mane, until it made her head lean on her sturdy shoulder.
"If Jui is born, Jui doesn't have Papa."
"Jui?" Hermawan frowned hearing the foreign name that was spoken from Naura's lips.
"That's the name of the fetus. Naura doesn't know what gender she is yet, so while calling her Jui." Naura Bright. Spontaneous Hermawan chuckles amusedly.
"You don't have to worry. Although Jui will not have Papa, Jui will have Eyang. Yeah, right, Jui?" Hermawan's gaze turned on his daughter's stomach that increasingly looks enlarged.
"But ..."
"If you're worried, there's no harm in finding a replacement."
"I mean Papa?" Naura's face turned grim. His gaze immediately locked onto his papa who was also staring back at him.
"You must understand what Papa means,"
"No, I'm not looking for a replacement for Calvin! I'm pretty sure that until now, Calvin is waiting for me. There's no way I'm looking for another man." Naura shook her head. As he was about to get up, Hermawan stopped him.
"Naura! It's been so long since the tragedy happened. You have to be able to catch Calvin. Calvin it's-"
"No! For me, Calvin is not dead! Until any time, if Mas Calvin's body had not been found, I would have always been sure that Mas Calvin was still alive!" Being carried away by emotions, Naura actually got up and left. Leaving Hermawan who called his name repeatedly.
"What should I do? I don't want to make my daughter continue to tarry over her husband who hasn't been found to this day."
Frustrating? Sure oes. Which father could bear to see his daughter get hurt like this.
"Anyways, I have to do something."
...****...
"May?" A subtle call that had no intention to surprise him, involuntarily made Fani flinch until she dropped her glass on the floor.
The sound of glass shards that were so loud, increasingly made him jerk. Fani's reflexes crouched down to clear the shards before someone stepped on them.
"Mama why?" Divo crouched down to help his wife clean up the mess.
Honestly, lately his wife often daydream. In fact, he often cried alone in the room while lamenting the portrait of Calvin, his youngest son.
"Sorry! Mom still thinks of our son. Somehow, Mama still can't accept that our child is not there. What ... because until now the body has not been found, yes, so Mama until now can not be sincere?" There was a heavy sigh coming from Fani's mouth. Feeling finished cleaning up the mess, Fani chose to sit in the dining chair. Followed by Divo who also occupied the seat next to his wife.
"Yes, Papa too. It feels like a nightmare. The endless nightmare."
Fani looked down sadly as tears again descended her face. "Can Calvin be found?" He muttered, the Divo reflex hugged his wife's body and rubbed her affectionately.
"We just pray, yeah."
"Mama needs clarity! This is too cruel! Calvin had what was wrong until he was pronounced dead in this way? It's just a possibility, doesn't mean Calvin's dead, does it?"
"But, humans will not be able to survive that long if dragged by the waves, especially in an unconscious state. Calvin may have died. We better pray, hopefully Calvin can be found soon." Fani was increasingly unable to hold back her cries. For the umpteenth time, Fani cried in her husband's arms.
In the midst of the ravaging scene, the ringing sound of mobile phones shifted their attention. Spontaneously the two began to release hugs and check each other's phones.
"Papa's got!" Divo. When he was about to pick up a phone call, Divo immediately realized the name of the contact who called him.
"Who?" Ask Fani. The Divo interrupted his wife to remain silent for a while.
"Hello?" Divo felt her heart pounding. Especially when the reply from across the phone there that explained briefly and in detail about his son.
"Mah!"
"Huh-yes?"
"Calvin has been found!"
"It's not kidding, is it? Calvin's alive?" Fani's face looks bright. Unfortunately, the smile did not last long, especially when a short reply in the form of a headband from her husband.
