Quiet Wife

Quiet Wife
23. Still a Secret

Slowly, Calvin again sighed, ending with a nod several times. "In a moment, yeah." Calvin said, distancing his position from Naura a little to pick up a phone call.

"Hello, Nai?"

"..."

"Sorry, I can't! Naura's sick, maybe next time."

"..."

"Hm. Fun have!" The phone call ended with Calvin deciding first.

Just as he was about to put his phone back in his pants pocket, Calvin's attention suddenly turned to Naura. I don't know why it felt like there was something Naura was hiding from her.

Calvin sighed again, as he approached Naura. "Udah done. What do you want to talk about?"

"Eng, na-later. It doesn't matter, either!" Naura. His head was again sluggish.

"Make it less important?" Calvin asked, trying to lure Naura into talking to him.

Hearing that, his reflexes looked up at Calvin. His heart again beat uncontrollably without any apparent reason.

"L-yes! Maybe ... next time," said Naura. Makes Calvin sigh after hearing it.

"OKAY. Em, still dizzy? How about we go to the clinic"

"No!" Calvin becomes convinced that there is something Naura is hiding. Calvin did not know what it was. Clearly, his attitude became strange.

"Why?"

"Because, I'm not pa-pa! I'm fine, all right."

"liks. What the hell is going on, Nau? You don't want to share that with me?" Ask Calvin again.

Honestly, Calvin wanted to know what Naura was saying. Just because of a phone call, Naura chose to forget her initial intention to say something important to Calvin.

Yep. Calvin felt that what he wanted to tell him was important.

"I-I'm not ready yet. Maybe next time." Reply Naura, after a moment of silence digesting.

"Okay, it's up to you." In the end, Calvin became upset himself and vented his anger by waltzing from the room. Forget about Naura who basically still hasn't touched the meal from since morning.

...****...

Dizziness and nausea have begun to subside a little. With careful steps, Naura walked out from inside the room towards the kitchen. In fact, until now Naura still has not touched any food.

Calvin who initially cared had gone out of nowhere. Maybe because her husband was already upset, because Naura who did not tell him something.

Arriving in the kitchen, Naura is made to nail when she sees Calvin struggling alone cooking something.

Naura thinks Calvin's gone because he's upset. It turned out, much more than that, Calvin cared so much for her. Naura felt guilty.

"Kalvin's mom cook?" Slowly, Naura continued her steps even though it felt heavy.

Hearing that someone was talking, Calvin's reflexes turned. Both of his legs quickly ran towards Naura. "Kok, down? Isn't he dizzy? Why not wait up above?"

"I-i guess ... Calvin's gone,"

"Continue?"

"So, I want the stomach contents to be a little better."

Calvin grunting. "Yes already. Mending now you sit down first. I'm making porridge again, be willing to die too."

"Thank you!" Unexpectedly, Naura hugged Calvin by draping her hands around Calvin's neck. "Actually, I'd like to say, but I'm scared." Whispering Naura, Calvin reflexively raised his hand to return his embrace.

"You don't have to be afraid. Try to be honest. I'm your husband, aren't I, Nau?"

"I-yes, sorry-"

"Cock, so apologize?" Calvin let go of his second hug, then looked at Naura's pair of eyeballs full of probes.

While Naura, she was about to go back down, but was held back by Calvin's hand, which quickly pulled her naunya.

"Naura!" Call Calvin. Just as Naura was about to reply, suddenly her sense of smell smelled a foreign scent.

"It's ... It's a bad smell, isn't it?"

Damnit damnit! The slurry!

"Geez! Sit down, Nau!"

Panic? Is clear! Spontaneous Calvin ran towards the stove and turned it off in a hurry. Without thinking, Calvin opened the cover of the pot that was so hot. Calvin's reflex dropped the lid on the floor until it made a loud noise.

"Mas Calvin isn't pa-pa?" Surprised by the sound of falling goods, Naura ran towards Calvin. Examine one by one her husband's body parts anxiously.

"I'm not pa-pa, Nau! Just shocked, 'cause the pancake cover is hot." Calvin showed his palms that did not look scuffed even though he had touched a hot object.

"Rare you sure, pa-pa?"

"Yes, Wife! You sit down again. You're sick again, sit down!"

"Yes, yeaha!" Naura snorted softly, as Calvin continued to encourage her to return to the dining chair. With resignation, Naura returned to one of the dining chairs that she had sat in a moment ago.

While waiting in silence, Calvin was finally done. A bowl of plain porridge and a glass of water is served in front of Naura. Even though there was a drama scorching, fortunately the part of the charred was only a little. The rest is still intact and can be eaten.

"Here, let me bribe!" Calvin pulled up another chair next to Naura. Deliberately close the position to make it easier for her to feed Naura.

Let's make love drama that's the point.

"You're wearing ketchup, aren't you?" Barre Calvin, interrupted blowing the porridge.

"No, that's it,"

"Crackers, rowdy?"

"Yeah!" A mouthful of Calvin's plain porridge drifted towards Naura's mouth. Without hesitation, Naura accepted the bribe with a flowery heart.

"Hm. It's yummy!" Praise Naura. Calvin developed his smile.

"Oh, huh?" Ask Calvin. Take enthusiasm from Naura, making Calvin participate tasting a little porridge made.

"Okay, anyway. It's just garem doang. But, tolerable. Want some more, right?" Ask Calvin again who also answered the same nod.

...****...

"Where? Did you go out?" Calvin asked subtly as he rubbed Naura's black mane plan.

Naura did not immediately reply to Calvin's words verbally. The woman just nodded slowly, trying to bring her sleeping position closer to Calvin.

"Yes, you are sleeping. But you should take your medicine first,"

"No way!" She said pregnant women should not take medication.

"Yes, how do you want." Calvin said, resigned.

There was a moment of silence, until when Naura looked up at Calvin, the two argued.

"Why?"

"I-it's. Not now should Calvin continue to make the task, yes. Calvin did not want to go back to his house to continue making assignments?" Naura asked at length, making Calvin reflex frown.

"Tomorrow." Calvin replied, then closed his eyes. One of his hands even began to hug Naura's slender waist.

"Aren't you pa-pa?" Ask Naura again. Inevitably, Calvin opened his eyes again to look at Naura.

"Bodo very! My wife is more important." Calvin said, firmly. But able to make Naura speechless with both cheeks reddened.

"Beautiful,"

"W-what the fuck, anyway?"

"Udah, sleep. I'm temenin."

...****...

"Sorry, yes, Gha, Dev! Yesterday I really could not go back to the boarding house, because my wife suddenly got sick. In fact, if suppose I don't come home yesterday, I don't know what fate he is now like." Calvin spoke regretfully to Irgha and Devano, his group mates.

"Emang, your wife why did you come?" Devano asked spontaneously because of the kepo. But even got a slow snub by Irgha's elbow.

"Gue found out he had fainted on the kitchen floor. You both will know, Nyokap same Bokap has not used a permanent assistant again. In the house there is only him, Nyokap again take care of the restorant because there are problems as well."

"Seriously lo? Have you been taken to the clinic?" Irgha who initially still tried to behave normally, in fact when he heard bad things that happened to his wife Calvin, he became anxious.

"Not going to the clinic. He does not want, so I just make porridge, keep taking a break."

"But you told me to take some medicine, right?" Ask Devano. Reciprocated by Calvin's plan.

"What about you, Vin? Sick wife, taken to the clinic, no. Medication, not either. Lo baby, no, the hell, actually?"

"He doesn't want to, b*go! You think I'm that stupid what? I forced him, the problem is he doesn't want to! I made him uncomfortable."

"But it's better now?"

"Well, now there's Nyokap looking after. So don't worry anymore if he fainted like yesterday. But I hope it doesn't happen again."

Irgha and Devano nodded while sighing in relief. "Thankful, deh."

"According to his horror. May your wife get well, Bro!"

"Thanks, yes! If so I go to the perpus first, want to continue the yesterday. If it's done, I'll tell you, man,"

"Yo'i! Relax, there are still three days. Sonny, Vin, santuy!"

"First, yeah!" Pamit Calvin's. Without lingering, he began to waltz away from his two friends.

...****...

"Did, Naima! What's your face? Cake, not so happy, I noticed. Today is your first day back as a student. Your face should be bright sentosa, instead of cloudy black clouds!?" Evelyn then grabbed one of the empty seats in front of Naima who was daydreaming with a crumpled face on a canteen table.

Realizing there was someone else, Naima clucked. "What about my nyamperin?"

Hearing the question, Evelyn let out a thunderous laugh, until some of the students who were around them, were made to turn their heads full of questions.

"Lo's crazy?" Naima snorted in annoyance, as all the attention was now on the crazed Evelyn. Unfortunately, Naima was stuck with her sap because of Evelyn's actions.

"OK, okay! Btw, your face is tangled because Calvin who yesterday refused firmly call lo. Aye, right? Bener, right? Huhh! I told you, Calvin doesn't need another girl anymore! He already has a wife. Yes, even mute."

"He's not mute." Naima's gaze turned piercingly that she laid on Evelyn.

"meaning?"

Slowly, Naima got up from her sitting position, then leaned her body before Evelyn while putting on the same gaze.

"The girl, the wife of the matchmaking of her parents, is not mute! He was pretending to be mute!" Peek Naima. Again, the attention of some students returned to their desks.

"What's? Lo... know where?"

"Calvin himself told me!"

"Huh? Kok, can? Continues, continues? She has no intention of getting a divorce? The Naura-Naura is not really mute. All this time he was just pretending to get his heart Calvin,"

"Well! You also think that girls are just sympathizers of Calvin doang, right? I thought that too! Wonder me. That's Calvin the same girl whose name is Naura! Calvin used to chase me." Naima nibbled at the tip of her fingernails, thinking. Damn, what he said at the very end, was avenged by Evelyn's sarcastic ruckus.

"That's called KARMA! Therefore, do not be afraid not to like! The turn of the guy moved in, just found out the taste."

"Diem lo!" Press Naima, who was repaid by Evelyn.
