Pattimura's sword souvenirs from the market

The second day was at the resort after coming out of the forest. That day there was no special event, we were released to do what we liked because it coincided with the Eid al-Adha holiday. The office was actually closed on that day, but because there we became the office remains open but there is no formal activity as usual. The employees who live in the office just relax. They enjoy playstation games with boys who join. There was something interesting we found that day. Yes, it is the feast of Eid al-Adha. The residents gathered in a predetermined house and they cooked with sacrificial meat and distributed it to the local residents. We who happen to be permanent residents (we call it dark residents) were also part of the meat.Lumayan a lot, maybe because the residents who shared it saw the crowded resort office, so the meat given was more. That day we ate well. But who's going to cook? There are no old people there. There are also only fathers. It's impossible that if they cook for us, it should be us who cook for them.

Nothing can be expected. We finally cooked together. No matter what it feels like later, the important thing to eat is to be grateful. Fortunately, there was Dea to be expected. Only he cooks. We're busy just annoying it actually, because other than looking around at Dea cooking there's nothing we do. Instead of just bothering me, I decided to wash it off. My dirty clothes in the woods are still in my plastic bag, I haven't washed them yet. I just wanted to take him home dirty like that. But when I did, I came home with dirty clothes? Finally I decided to wash it, the sun was scorching. So that tomorrow when I leave for my laundry hall is dry.

After I finished washing, I dried my clothes in the back of the office clothes. It turned out that Dea was ready and we had breakfast. It's 10 in the morning but we just wanted breakfast. Understand that no one took care of us there. Fortunately there are still people who want to cook, if not forced to find their own food in the stall. Fortunately, the good people also gave us a sacrificial meat ration.

After the late breakfast, each person returned with his activities. Some people go to the market. There is a market that is not so far from the resort office, as I heard. I'm just not interested in going to the market. I finally decided to stay in the office with a few other people including Ari, Dea and Ayu. Again, we just worked as usual all day. Those who go to the market are none other than to look for typical souvenirs that can be taken home. I don't know what things they'll find there.

Tired of just sitting under a mango tree and gossiping like our mothers decided to make something with the rest of the kedondong fruit picked by Madi yesterday. Finally become the kedondong rujak that is formulated again by Dea. We just help with the food as usual. It's good to have friends who can cook like that.

A week from that day the schedule for the new semester will begin. That means we have to fill the KRS (Study Plan Card). But how? Never mind to open the internet, just call sometimes difficult signals. In the end there was a meeting of KRS.The first time in history during college I filled KRS with the help of friends (dijokin), and I filled KRS, rather than not being able to join the lecture next semester, fortunately there is an Ebi in Jakarta who is ready to help. Ebi is also the jockey to fill KRS Dea, Ari and Ayu. All courses and schedules we take are the same because they are filled by only one person.

Finally I can see directly the form of the pattimura sword that became the thousand rupiah money icon. Not just looking, but holding it. Previously the mountain tidore which is also an icon in the thousand rupiah has been successfully made in the form of a photo, even though I can only see it from afar. Hopefully one day I can see it closer. Luckily I was chosen to be one of the participants of this expedition so that I could get an amazing experience. There is only one less, which is to eat papeda. At the resort we did not find it, even people who deliberately went to the market to look for special food did not find it. Just less fortunate. Hopefully at the hall later we can find the food before returning to Jakarta.

Tells about the picture in the thousand rupiah money is a picture of natural contours in Maluku precisely on the island of Maitara and Tidore, the location of the mountain Tidore I told you about above. The island is the location where the Portuguese first set foot in the Maluku region to hunt for spices in the form of cloves, nutmeg and kaprah as the main commodity. If viewed back, it was the entire trip we went through since setting foot at Sultan Babulloh airport and getting to the location of this national park, indeed, there are still many clove trees that we can find along the road and in community gardens.

In colonial times, the price of spices including cloves and nutmeg which are known to have many properties is very high and even reportedly to exceed the price of gold. That is what makes the banhsa from Europe come to Indonesia to hunt for the spices. Oh yes, cloves and nutmeg are two Indonesian spice commodities that are famous with the title "Indonesian Masterpiece Spice Camp", and during the colonial period was a major trading commodity.

It tells the story of Pattimura's sword, according to a story Hamas got from a merchant he met at the market, the sword that has a pointed tip is basically used for hunting activities in the forest and is still used by people living in Maluku including in the Halmahera and Ternate regions, where we were at that time.
