Rapa & Cleona: Keeping the Heart
122. Flashbacks

Cleona smiled her smile as soon as she arrived at the apartment door she had left for so long. Laura did not change the key, making it easier for Cleona to enter and invite her husband and children who had fallen asleep in her arms as well as Rapa.

Staring around the main room, Cleona recalled the difficult times seven years ago, when she decided to go from Rapa's side, on disappointment that turned out to be the source of misunderstanding.

“Abang believe not, if the Queen used to cry all day there,” Cleona pointed to the sofa in front of him facing directly on a large window that currently displays the bright sky in Singapore.

“Nangis why?” asked Rapa with a frown.

“Nangisin fate of Queen without brother,” stepped more and more in, then Cleona first laid her child in her bedroom bed first followed by Rapa.

At this moment he felt his sadness first, as soon as he arrived at this strange place, where the water had stopped relentlessly, crying over the departure of the mother who had never thought it would be that fast. Added to the memory of Rapa who he left without a message, in addition to a word of relationship breaker.

“One week Queen cries non-stop, does not want to eat or drink,” a thin smile etched on Cleona's lips which is currently sitting on a light blue sofa in the main room. Rapa followed and looked at his wife with a slightly incredulous look. “Luckily Queen did not die at that time, because papi quickly brought Queen to the hospital,” continued Cleona who was still staring straight ahead, glaring to time a few years ago.

“Jeez, Queen!” Leo who had just returned from enrolling for Cleona and Laura was so shocked when he saw the princess who was already lying helplessly on the floor of the living room. Laura who saw was crying and asked the papi to immediately take her brother to the hospital.

And five hours later Cleona regained consciousness from her stupor with a pale face and a blank stare that was so stifling to Leo. What else when remembering a few hours ago his son continued to mumble the name Rapa, also called the name Luna and asked the mother to take her away. Leo is hurt by the frailty of his first daughter, and promises not to meet Cleona with Rapa who has failed him.

“Papi Queen would like to see brother, Queen would like to explain everything is the same brother if between Queen and brother Alvin there is nothing to do,” whine Cleona with crying back to divorce.

“He was wrong too, Queen. That son of a bitch hurt you, let you down. And papi don't accept papi's son in another man's wound!” Leo hugged his son's weak body. “Forget him, baby, papi doesn't want you back to get hurt. He doesn't care about you anymore. Even when you need him so much, he is not at all beside you. Forget him, and seek your new happiness here. Please, don't torture yourself like you've been for the past week, papi can't, baby. Papi can't afford to lose.” again

Kiss after kiss Leo gave at the top of the princess's head. While Cleona who was in his arms just cried and gripped the strong shirt that Leo was wearing, before returning unconscious.

“At that time Queen realized that Queen needed a brother, needed a brother's embrace, also needed words of encouragement from brother. And Queen was aware that Queen was not that strong without a brother,” Cleona turned her head briefly towards Rapa who was currently sitting watching, and listened intently to the story full of wounds of his wife.

“Once knowing that mommy has been gone for good, Queen expects that brother is on Queen's side, giving a hug that always keeps Queen calm. But unfortunately, Queen must be disappointed with the absence of brother. Queen was disappointed and angry because she thought that her brother no longer cared about Queen, also hated Queen. In the end, Queen asks Papi to take Queen as far away from her brother as possible. Honey, the decision even more makes Queen helpless.”

Rapa still did not make a sound, he wanted to hear all the stories of the wife's guilt for her mistakes first, even though up to this time Rapa had clearly known that her girl used to be just as much in demand for their separation.

“Days, Queen passes without passion, without passion even without the slightest hope. Until finally Queen met with Kak Freya,” now a little smile Cleona published when remembering how her meeting with her beautiful level brother who also turned out to be her neighbor.

And who would have thought that their meeting kept repeating until they became close and then became friends. Freya is a beautiful woman who is pleasant, kind and loving to make Cleona comfortable to be friends with her level brother. And Freya's presence also makes Cleona a little forget her sadness, even though in her own time, the tears always dripped without her asking.

“For two years of being here no one wanted to be Queen's friend, because they assumed that Queen was a proud person, she said, given that the Queen was indeed a quiet and closed figure, would not talk if no one asked, it was always the Queen answered soberly, making them eventually move away slowly. Only Freya's sister was able to survive being friends with Queen, until Queen finally met with Edrick,”

A jealous rage began to spit out as soon as the name of the man mentioned his wife, while Cleona was now chuckling softly, looking at the sour face of her handsome husband. Rapa's jealous expression that Cleona always liked.

Entering the second semester of college, Cleona who was still in class alone was approached by a handsome man who did not know what her name was. Cleona frowned looking at the man's hand.

“Edrick,” the man mentioned his name on the accompaniment with a charming smile, leaving Cleona stunned for a moment, but she quickly returned a glance at the hand that was still outstretched. “Didn't you want to receive my introduction?” ask the man who has now lowered his smile.

“Cleona,” in the end Cleona introduced herself even without a smile, unlike the man named Edrick.

“From now on we make friends.” Said the man with a happy look, while Cleona only frowned. What else when the man took her out of class. And along the way to the canteen Edrick kept telling stories that Cleona did not understand much.

Since then their friendship was established, the attention, understanding and kindness of the man made Cleona comfortable in addition to Edrick's brilliance which made him able to re-carve a smile. With all the man's attitude it makes Cleona almost open her heart for him if only the truth that he did not immediately know.

“He who said Queen has a crush on Alvin?” asked Rapa who answered nodding by Cleona.

“Sister Alvin that time came for the second time, and it just so happened that Queen again gathered here with Freya and Edrick ..” Cleona paused just to giggle amusedly before then continuing her story.

Amidst the gossiping activity, the bells of the apartment rang loudly, stopping their chatter.

“Ck, who the hell is it that's visiting? Disturb me!” edrick sniffed with his feminine accent.

“Awhile I opened the door first,” said Cleona to the two friends. And as soon as she opened the door Cleona screamed for the pleasure of seeing that Alvin was the guest who came. Hugging her tightly, Cleona then pulls Alvin in and introduces the man to Edrick, as Freya already knew him during their first meeting.

The typical male calm attitude that Edrick first showed when introducing himself to Alvin. But once he finds out that Alvin is Cleona's older brother and best friend, Edrick's feminine spirit comes as a surprise to Alvin. While Cleona and Freya only laughed at Alvin whose face was reddened by being held in Edrick so possessively.

“Their existence is what then makes Queen rise from sadness, that's why Queen loves Sister Alvin, Freya and Edrick. They mean something in Queen's life, because the three of them are the ones who accompany her when Queen is sad.”

Rapa hugged his wife, then gave her a few kisses on the top of her head. “From now on there will be no more sadness, because brother will always be beside you to be happy for you and our children."
