Rapa & Cleona: Keeping the Heart

Rapa & Cleona: Keeping the Heart
45. Repatriation

A smile was engraved so wide on Cleona's lips when she had just stepped down from the plane that was her transportation to the homeland. Almost six years of living in the Country of people made him long for the Country of his own birth. A country full of memories with its loved ones.

“Happy home, baby!” exclaimed a handsome man with a sweet smile engraved welcoming him.

Cleona immediately embraced the man who had always been there for her, the man who always encouraged her to live better, arousing her spirit and always faithful to hear her complaints. The precious man he loved after his papi.

“Live home?”

“Ke Mami's grave first can?”

“What did not make my Princess. Yuk, we're leaving now. Mami must miss you too." The man takes over the suitcase in Cleona's hands and takes it to the parking lot where his car is stored. Not to forget also opened the door for Cleona before then forwarded his car leaving the airport.

“Sister Alvin is not busy anymore, is it today?” ask Cleona to make sure.

“Quiet, today I am free specially for lo,” he said with a smile engraved handsome. His outstretched hand broke Cleona's beautiful hair, making the beautiful girl smile and not forgetting to say thank you.

Arriving at the funeral, Cleona approached the resting place of the late mami, not forgetting to also bring her favorite flower and she placed it on a tombstone engraved Luna's name on it.

Cleona literally shed tears of her longing for the grave of the mother, whom she had been damning for nearly six years. Much of what he told me, was crying, and the laughter he gave despite knowing that there would be no response from his beloved woman who was already close to God.

During her time away from her homeland, Cleona kept trying to let go of her mother, heal her grief and let go of all the memories of her that she lived away. The new life that he lived in the country people originally was not easy, it was not easy, moreover, he had to re-adapt to the environment and new people around him which of course he had never known before except for aunty Devi and her family who occasionally came to see him when Leo came home with work affairs.

Singapore is indeed not too far away from Indonesia, but at least there he can calm himself and his heart from the thoughts that become his burden. There too he decided to live in the apartment that his father had bought once he lived with the mother spent the rest of his life. He only wanted to remember his mother, and in the apartment he felt close to the beloved woman who had given birth to him. What else are the many taped photos that Leo took as long as Luna was still breathing.

The departure of the mother is still imprinted, but at least now he is more sincere even though sometimes tears always drip when the longing comes back.

More often spending time together with Laura makes Cleona inevitably to learn more mature, and more mature, as a sister of course he had to protect his sister even though he knew that Laura could be more independent compared to him, but anyway Laura was his sister, a little girl who still needed more attention from her family, especially during its growth period.

At seven o'clock in the night, Cleona just got home by Alvin. Entering the house he so longed for impatiently until he left Alvin who first took out the suitcase from the trunk.

“Papi, Queen's home!" cleona shouted running towards the dining room, where Leo's voice was heard chatting with no one.

Laura who had already gone home for one week ago ran to hug her brother before being eliminated by Leo.

“Jeez, Papi girl why didn't you go home earlier? You make papi worried, because it's difficult to contact!” leo's nagging waist.

“Yes, who told you to go home not to try!" delik Leo pretended to be angry.

“Queen 'would like to surprise papi,”

“Iya and you succeeded in making papi hangers because of worry!”

“Maafin Queen yes, dear papi,” Cleona said while giving one kiss on Leo's cheek.

“Ekhemm!”

Deheman was loud enough that it diverted Cleona, who was currently frozen in place seeing Lyra, Pandu and Clara sitting at the dining table, looking at him longingly. The beautiful woman who was no longer young, who first got up and walked quickly hugged Cleona and floated kiss after kiss all over her face. Cleona who indeed missed a warm embrace of a mother was of course crying full day and returned the hug tightly.

“Dad girl's son has grown up turns out, more beautiful. You're healthy, aren't you, son?” ask Pandu once Cleona and Lyra's arms have been released.

“Queen healthy, Dad. Why is Dad getting hotter at this older age? Queen has a crush on danger later,” her candle tightly hugged the gallant body of her second father.

“Could be his son's father!" said Pandu pinched the two golden cheeks of Cleona who is now a little thin. The two then laughed before Leo told the boy to eat.

“O yes, Queen until forgot,” he said patting his eel hard enough once realized that Alvin he was staying in front.

Regardless of Leo calling out to her, Cleona ran out of the dining room to approach Alvin and invited him to eat with his family. Of course, Alvin did not mind because after all he was also hungry after a day of accompanying Cleona at the funeral.

The presence of Alvin is of course a question and confusion for Lyra, Pandu and Clara. But not for Leo and Laura, the two people actually welcomed the joy of Alvin's arrival, even Laura took the time to hug the handsome man, and express her longing.

The entire dinner was filled with only Laura and Alvin, while Cleona chatted with her mother and father who asked about her life in Singapore all this time, and once in a while Cleona glanced at Clara who was sitting quietly without saying a word.

He did not not not miss his little friend, but seeing Clara who seemed reluctant to look at him made Cleona assume that maybe his best friend was still angry with him about the past events, especially with the current Alvin.

But the question now is, where is Rapa? Why did he not see the man in the midst of his family?

Cleona was eager to ask the whereabouts of her former lover, but she was not brave enough. He was just afraid that everyone's answer would actually make his heart hurt. He was not ready to hear the fact that Rapa was married, although it was actually impossible, but could have just deliberately not everyone told him?

Honestly, his feelings for Rapa could never be eliminated even though almost six knew nothing about the man. And if Rapa has a companion for her life, then what should she do?
