...The night was getting late in silence,...
...The moon seemed ashamed to appear, as if it did not want to help illuminate the self that was in a dilemma between the mind and the heart....
...A decision that must be chosen, although it will ultimately hurt. Let it happen, rather than one day having to endure endless heartache....

The night air temperature was getting colder, the lights had been partially extinguished. One by one the house dwellers began to fall asleep, except Nizam who still stayed in his room with a restless heart.
Two days had passed, but the mother was still indifferent to him. He realized that the decision to reject the matchmaking at that time had disappointed the mother. However, he had no other choice at the moment. The promise to be dishonest apparently took the man even further away from the warmth of a family.
Nizam cleared his throat feeling dry. Being ignored by others, it turns out no more painful than by parents themselves. He even forgot to drink after dinner together last night because the atmosphere at the dining table was so cold.
The man with hair that was no longer longing now walked down the stairs to go to the kitchen to get a drink. His steps are deliberately slow so as not to disturb anyone who is asleep. However, his footsteps came to a halt right in front of the musholla whose lights were still on.
The sound of crying from a praying woman disturbs Nizam's sense of hearing. With so much care, though, he peered into the musholla and the man's gaze immediately turned sad when he saw the figure of the woman who had given birth to him sitting on a prayer mat with his hands looking up.
Although only a soft voice was heard, Nizam could still understand what was said from the mouth of the mother who was talking to the Creator.
"O Allah, O Rabbi, O Ghaffar, forgive us our sins, sins that can hinder us from Your goodness, both in the world and in the Hereafter. Duhai Dzat who turned his heart, if at this time Nizam did not want to open his heart, then meet him with a woman who loves him sincerely and can open his heart again, and, the woman who embraces him in the midst of the storms of life, the woman who always publishes a smile on her face, and the woman who can make him forget the bad memories of the past."
"Punish the selfishness of the servant that has made him feel uncomfortable, and forgive the servant for ignoring him since yesterday. He's not wrong, the star-studded bundle is wrong."
The woman's voice was stopped by a sobbing that she had been trying to slow down so that no one would hear. However, he was completely unaware that behind the door of the room, there was someone who had been listening silently with tears coming down his cheeks.
The clear threads were now pouring out of Nizam's eyes after hearing the mother's prayer. Unknowingly, his footsteps brought the man into the musholla, and he rested with the head he had placed on his mother's lap.
"I'm sorry Nizam, Mother. Nizam has disappointed Mother and Father, Nizam has humiliated our family, Nizam ...."
"Shhh, already, son. You are not wrong, the wrong mother for having betrothed you to a woman who turns out to be waiting for another man."
Nizam who heard the mother's words immediately raised his face to look at the dewy bead of eyes. "Mother already knows?"
Khaira nodded slowly while wiping away her son's tears with both thumbs. The woman then gave a warm kiss to the son, then said, "Hana's mother had contacted the mother and said that Hana had apparently secretly been through ta'arruf with a man, and Hana already likes that guy."
"Yes, Mother. Nizam did not want to continue the match. Nizam cannot marry a woman who has kept the name of another man in her heart, nor does Nizam want to take away her dreams and happiness."
"Then why didn't you say it in the first place, son?"
Nizam did not immediately answer, he laid his head back on the lap of the mother. "Sorry, Mother. Nizam had already promised Hana not to tell her the reason at that time."
Khaira sighed deeply while restoring the son's hair, and then began to speak again, "I'm sorry for Mother and Father for ignoring you from yesterday, son."
"No, Mommy. Mother and father are not wrong, really." Nizam smiled with relief this time. The anxiety that had been bothering him since yesterday had now gone away.
Nizam closed his eyes, felt the comfort of sleeping on the lap of the mother, plus a caress in his head made the man again close his eyes, even he has now forgotten the original purpose when out of the room.
"May you soon be met with your soul mate, son."

Time went on, until it was not felt that now came the time when Nizwa and Arfan would formalize their marriage relationship before God.
"Well!"
The sound of wedding witnesses followed by the guests who witnessed the sacred event was heard blaring in the living room which was quite spacious and beautiful that morning. Praise and gratitude also accompanied the tears of happiness that came out wet the cheeks of Khaira, as the mother of the bride.
"Well, how are you, son?"
"God willing, soon, Mother. Please pray, dad. As the vow of a mother is so sacred, her prayer is able to penetrate the seventh heaven."
"Mother's prayers are always with you, son."
The reception event which is now held on the front page of the house was running quite lively. Nizwa deliberately chose her own home to hold an outdoor reception. Aside from being vast, he wanted to make once-in-a-lifetime good memories in his home.
As a woman, Nizwa is aware of her current position of being devoted to Arfan, her husband. Including if you have to follow where her husband chose to stay after this.
Meanwhile, Nizam who now feels tired and headaches due to being too busy and lack of sleep finally decided to rest for a while on the second floor terrace of his house.
From a distance he could see all the guests present, including Syifa who was now seen talking to Boy and Khaira. Not sure what they were talking about, Nizam did not want to make his own conclusions.
..
In the evening, the entire extended family including the newlyweds who just got married today also gathered in the family room.
"Nizam, how's your company doing, son?" ask David.
"Thank God, everything is under control, Uncle," replied Nizam.
"Nizam, don't you have a future wife yet, son?" ask Silfi curiously.
Nizam shook his head slowly. "Not yet, Auntie."
"Why? Find a wife soon, son. In order for someone to comfort you in times of sadness, do not be fixated on the same prolonged sadness, son. Aura must be happy if you are happy," Silfi said with a sincere smile.
"Yes, Auntie. God willing Nizam will seek it."
The atmosphere in the living room was silent for a moment.
"Nizam, this afternoon there was a woman who expressed good intentions, she was interested in you and if you want, she wants you to propose to her house tomorrow." Boy started talking.
"Who, Dad?"
"If it's not wrong, it's called Syifa."
Nizam was silent while bowing in contemplation. Should he accept or refuse this time? Again he had to be faced with an arranged marriage that he honestly did not want, but on the other hand, he was also afraid to disappoint his parents again.
"Can Nizam go through ta'arruf first?" ask the man later.
"Can, then we go there tomorrow for the first meeting, how?" ask the other family.
"If we agree, hopefully ta'arruf will run smoothly" said Ali, then guaranteed by everyone in the room.

The next day, Nizam, Boy, Khaira, and Arfan went to the house of Syifa. Not waiting long, they have now arrived at the house that looks brgitu luxury. The woman allowed everyone to enter and sat down with Nizam and his family.
A few moments later, Moon sat down to welcome the arrival of the family who had been very meritorious in his life. They now seem to ask each other the news and tell each other lightly.
"Hey, Zam. You're so lucky to have such a beautiful and tough woman like her."
