Reaching the Moon

Reaching the Moon
Chapter 08

I grew up in a family that loved each other. Learned a lot from my father in glorifying women, no matter how strong and great he was in martial arts, never once did I see him rude to my mother, even though she was wrong.

That's why, I'm very unacceptable to see and hear women being treated harshly at this time. My ignorance of their problems, does not necessarily make me indifferent, it feels like I want to break the window to stop the violence.

That night, that night,

The time has shown at 11pm. The moon had just arrived at the mansion she was living in when some of the lights had gone out. The woman entered by slowing down her steps so as not to disturb the other residents of the house.

"The wife doesn't know herself is finally coming too!" the circus of a woman who had been sitting in the living room just as the Moon entered the house.

"I-mom."

"Where have you been? Don't worry about your husband not being home, you're out into the night. What kind of wife are you?" The woman named Stella stood up and approached the Moon.

"Sorry, Mom. I was working ...."

"Work work, what less money are you? Marcel, haven't you been giving you money all this time, where's that money? Huh!"

The moon shook, he did not answer the question his mother-in-law asked this time.

"Oh, I know, you must think that your husband's money is illegal money, right?"

The moon bowed withstanding the turmoil in the heart hearing every rude word from the mother-in-law. The woman's hands were intertwined and it brushed 4s its own fingers. Tears began to urge out of the eye peluhan, but as much as possible he could bear. Not only was his body tired, his heart was also very tired of facing his life so hard.

To be honest, he confirmed the words of the in-laws. Moon clearly knows the husband's main job other than as a motorcycle gang boss, and therefore, since marriage he continues to work and choose to use his own money for his living expenses, he said, while the money given Marcel he chose to keep it.

Instead of being arrogant, however, as a wife, Moon has the right not to use the living that her husband gives her if it comes from something that God forbids.

"Month! Answer!" The moon jumped to hear the snapping of the mother-in-law who was now looking at him sharply without compassion.

"What's the fuss, ma'am?" The moon and Stella compactly turned towards the door as the man in a mint with the scent of alcohol gushing from his body was standing there.

"Look at your wife! He's really outrageous, when you give him money every month, he adds he works, but when you ask for a little money for your needs, he doesn't want it," fighting women aged six heads, of course by adding a little spice lies to make the Moon more cornered.

"What?" Marcel looked at his wife with a sharp look.

The moon shook slowly, "No, Mas. I never said that ...."

"Do you want to tell me my mom's lying?"

The moon again shook with teary eyes and terrified faces. "Not so, but ...." The woman's words came to a halt when Marcel immediately pulled her hand violently into the room.

"None, Mas ... You misunderstood ...."

"Mas, please don't ...."

Bugh

"Nr ...." The moon grimaced in pain while holding her head as her body was pushed so firmly that her head hit the wall of the room.

"For instance, my mother." The Moon's tears flowed profusely in line with the blood flowing at her temple. The woman's hands were stout and cupped to each other in front of her face, begging not to be beaten again this time.

The semi-conscious Marcel walked over to the Moon and forced the woman's veil open and pulled her hair. His hand raised was about to slap the Moon, but it came to a halt when suddenly a knocking sound rang out the window of his room loudly.

Marcel rushed over and opened the window in annoyance. However, there was no one he met out there.

Marcel closed the window of his room when no one else saw him outside. The man walked up to the Moon and gripped both of his cheeks firmly.

"Tomorrow, give me all the money I ever gave you, I know you never want to wear it because you think my money is illegal money. Yeah, right? Unfortunately I don't care, if you don't want to wear it, it's better, I can save my expenses." Marcel paused for a moment to catch his hunting breath due to the overflow of emotions.

"Remember! Never once have you hurt my mother with your attitude, if one day I see my mother crying because of you, I will not hesitate to make**hmu!"

Marcel threw the face of the Moon violently and walked to the bed. "I thought by marrying you, my illness would be cured, but it turned out to be the same. You are useless!" marcel's grumble sounded like an involuntary rumble. In the next second, the man's body instantly collapsed unconscious.

With tears in his eyes, the Moon dragged his trembling body into the bathroom. The woman stood in front of the mirror, looking at her deathly pale face, as well as the wounds that had just been formed by her husband's rude attitude. His hand slowly opened the blazer that covered part of the body carefully, until only a short-sleeved shirt was left.

There were a few cuts along his arm. Not only that, there was also a reddish mark on his neck that had not faded. The woman's cry broke out witnessing how despicable her current state of body was. It has been more than two months he was married, and during that time his body always got a blow even though he did not know what was wrong.

"What does it mean that he marries me if I end up just being a place of emotional outlet and physical strength" Moon said in between the sobs.

Her cry slowly moved to take a tissue and then cleaned the dried blood at her temple, very different from the tears that still continued to flow wet the cheeks.

His life was completely scarred at this moment, not only physical injuries, but also wounds in his heart. Not to mention since marriage, he always had bad dreams while sleeping. Dreams that are like real events and always repeat every night as if to remind him of events that he has forgotten.

Whether until when she could survive the abusive attitude of her husband and mother-in-law, clearly her request to separate was never granted by Marcel and instead ended in violence again.

The moon was so tormented after the departure of her parents seven years ago. Plus the older brother who suddenly disappeared without any news at all. There is no place to complain and take refuge except to Allah alone, only Allah.

The next day, after finishing homework, Moon was again preparing to leave for work, this time he planned to leave with a large backpack that he had prepared since last night.

There was no longer any reason for him to survive if he still wanted to live. That's all the Moon can do right now, even if he knows what he's doing will be very risky.

His dealings with the in-laws have been sorted out. Stella took all the money Marcel had ever given her. The moon did not want to argue much, she obeyed everything the in-laws and her husband said.

Just as the Moon was about to get on the bike, suddenly Marcel's burly hand held him back. "You're coming with me." The man pulled the Moon's hand very roughly and put it in the car without caring about the woman's refusal.

"Where are you going, Mas?" tanya Moon started to get scared again.

Marcel did not answer. He actually drove his car at high speed to a place without caring about the woman with the status of his wife. Even Moon cried hysterically while closing her eyes and hugging her knees in fear. It was as if the bad events that had always haunted him in a dream would come true.

Until the moment they were on a quiet road, precisely on the edge of the forest, the car stopped. Marcel immediately snatched away the backpack that was on the Moon's back. The man smiled wryly as he looked at the contents of the bag filled with the clothes of the wife.

"Such a damn you!" Marcel violently pushed the head of the Moon to hit the car glass.

"You're gonna run, aren't you?" Investigating Marcel, but got no answer from the Moon. "Java!" he continued with a thunderous voice to make the Moon aghast.

"Okay, if that's what you want, let's see if you can get away from me after this." Marcel took out a backpack as well as a small bag containing a Moon wallet by force.

The moon did not speak, she just shook her head slowly with tears that began to flood her cheeks. The woman's tongue feels mute, wants to make a sound even she can not afford. His body felt limp at this moment, his heart was beating even faster than usual.

"Now you're out" Marcel said with his index finger pointing out the window.

"OUT!" the man jolted again and opened the door beside the Moon and kicked the Moon out, until she fell on the street.

"It's very rare for a vehicle to pass by, I'll give you the convenience, it's my phone, inside it's my number. If you give up, call me. Then I'll pick you up right away. Let's just say it's your punishment for trying to escape."

Marcel threw an old-fashioned cell phone to the front of the Moon, then immediately drove away from the Moon on the edge of a very quiet forest. The woman cried in silence, she sat curled up alone, not knowing what to do.
