Reaching the Moon

Reaching the Moon
Chapter 05

The darkness now stretched the night sky. Luckily the moon and stars are still accompanying, so dark does not feel so scary. Only, sadness and longing still faithfully dominated the heart of the man sitting in the gazebo behind his house.

It had already been a few months after Aura's departure, but her sadness was still the same when she first got bad news that night. His gaze occasionally led to the back of the gazebo where they had once planted special items there.

The curiosity of Aura's letter at that time made Nizam move from his seat and walk towards the back of the gazebo. The man bent his knees and looked at the mound of earth where there was a small board that read 'The Secrets of Aura and Nizam' before him.

"May I read your letter now Aura? Don't wait for me to marry another woman, because in my heart there is still you" he murmured softly.

His hand rubbed the small board. Just as he was about to pluck it from the ground, the father's baritone voice was now heard from the side.

"What are you doing there, Nizam?"

Nizam turned his head to the side looking at the father who was now walking towards him. He immediately stood up and approached Boy with a smile.

"Dad."

The man whose age was almost stepping on the five-headedness now stopped his steps while looking towards the back of the gazebo, his gaze turned to look at Nizam who was now in front of him.

"Sit down, son." Boy invites Nizam to sit in the gazebo together.

"Have you not been able to recite Aura yet?" ask Boy.

Nizam flinched for a while before he finally spoke, "God willing, Father."

Nizam's unconvincing answer made Boy exhale heavily. "If your heart still feels heavy with his departure, even if you are still not sure to give it, go first to calm yourself to where you like, an injured heart will recover over time if there is indeed an attempt to heal it." Boy stopped his words for a moment.

"Your life is still going on, son. You can't keep going like this. Grief may be, but slumped over a long period of time is not true. Be happy, and it all depends on your intentions and efforts. I'm sure, Aura will also be happy if you live happily and do not fall like this," continued Boy advising his eldest son.

Nizam is back. To be honest, he confirmed what his father said. However, somehow it felt so heavy to want to forget Aura. He still wanted to make her the only special woman in his heart after his mother. Although many times the fact slapped him with bitterness that he who is in the heart now will not be able to reach, except in prayer. His common sense was aware of that, but his little heart always wanted him, him, and him.

"Do you want to follow my advice?"

Nizam was stunned from the daydream of hearing the father's question until he reflexively agreed to the suggestion.

"Good, go tomorrow. Regarding the company, leave it to Arfan and Dion, they are very reliable." Boy patted Nizam's shoulder slowly and immediately entered the house.

Nizam stared at the full moon reflecting the beautiful white light of the night. "Can I?" the man then rubbed his face with both hands slowly.

The next day, Nizam was actually preparing to go calm down. No matter where he was whispering, he suddenly wanted to go to South Korea. The man walked down the stairs dragging a small suitcase, though he did not know how much time he would spend there.

After bidding farewell to his parents, Nizam walked to the car where his family's private driver was waiting. Just as he was sitting next to the driver, the crisp sound coming from the back seat managed to make the man aghast in shock.

"Astaghfirullah, Nizwa, take care of you!

"Hehe's sorry, kanda sis. I'm Anterin Brother, huh?"

"What if you're not late for college when I first anterin?"

"Yes, be safe."

"Yes, come on, Mr. Mamat," the man told his family's private driver.

"Ready!"

The car began to drive away from the yard with prayers and a wave of hands from Khaira and Boy. The distance between the house and the airport is only 8 kilometers, so it does not take long to get to the place.

"I go firstwell, assalamu 'alaikum," Nizam told Nizwa.

"Assalamu 'alaikum Mr. Mamat." Instead of hearing the greeting from Nizwa, he actually heard the younger brother say hello to their driver as if he was part of the party.

Nizam stops her from entering the departure gate when she realizes that Nizwa is walking beside her while dragging the suitcase that has been on her side since when.

"Eh, where are you going?"

"You come with brother, come."

"Where do you really know?"

"You know where it came from?" Nizam probed with a squeaking look.

"From Abang Arfan's. Brother Arfan is also the one who pesenin my ticket with Brother. Didn't you see the e-ticket?"

Nizam was silent, he only remembered that since dawn he had not seen the ticket that Arfan sent via email. He only got information from Arfan about the time of his flight this morning via phone.

"Don't think about it, the plane's gonna fly." Nizwa withdrew Nizam's hand into the airport until the man could no longer resist or protest.

☘☘☘

After traveling for more than 7 hours, Nizam and Nizwa now arrive at Incheon International Airport. The two walked together out of the plane while pulling their respective suitcases.

"Sister, wait for me here, I'm going to the toilet, yeah," he said, leaving his suitcase and running to find the toilet in a hurry.

While waiting for the arrival of his sister, Nizam decided to sit in a chair while checking the incoming email on his phone. The man's attention was now fixed on an email coming in from Diki. In the email, there is a video that he allegedly came from the front camera of the car parked in the back of the Aura car.

The video shows a suspicious man pacing near Aura's car parked in a restaurant just at lunchtime.

"It's okay on CCTV that the parking lot of the hospital and the house of Uncle Ali is nothing suspicious" muttered Nizam with a frown.

"Wait a minute, I've seen this guy. Isn't he the man in the red shirt?

Shortly after seeing the video, an incoming call with the name Diki filled the screen of Nizam's phone.

"Nizam, have you seen the video I sent you in your email?"

"Yes, Diki."

"I checked the guy in the video. I also managed to catch him. Now he's in my office, but he's reluctant to open his mouth to any of my questions. If you want to see him come here. Maybe he'll talk to you if he's dealing with you."

"All right, thank you, Diki. I'll see you today too, oh yes send that person's personal data to me."

Nizam ends his phone and stands up, looking for Nizwa who is still in the toilet. However, as he turned around, accidentally a woman hit him from the opposite direction.

"Sorry" said the woman.

"Never mind ... The moon?" Nizam who had been accidentally staring at the woman immediately recognized her face, the woman he had met in city A unexpectedly.

The moon did not immediately make a sound, he looked down for a moment while rubbing his slightly wet eyes and then looked back at Nizam.

"Oh my goodness, Mr. Nizam! Wah did not expect to see you here again, happy to meet you," said Moon seramah possible.

Nizam smiled faintly in doubt, regardless of what happened to the Moon, but everything he said was very contrary to the expression he saw on his face. The woman's words sounded friendly. However, the look on his face depicted sadness and fear.

"Sorry, Sir. I can't linger, I go first well. See yoo again, assalamu 'alaikum." The moon immediately left without turning his head again, he was even impressed hurriedly as if someone was chasing him.

Nizam could only look at the Moon with question marks until the woman disappeared from his sight.

"Don't you see what?" The sound of Nizwa's cry again managed to make Nizam surprised.

"Astaghfirullah, what is your hobby?"

"I don't want to, brother. I'm just talking as usual. Aja brother who is a hobby of daydreaming," elak Nizwa held back a laugh when he saw the expression of the brother who looked funny in his eyes.

"Sir, let's go home!"

"Come on!" Nizwa took Nizam by the hand and pulled him out of the airport. The girl was about to hold the taxi, but was restrained when Nizam stopped his steps.

"Why stop?"

"We have to go home, Deck!" Nizam repeated his words, "return to Indonesia," the man continued to clarify the meaning of his words.

"Huh?"
