Reaching the Moon

Reaching the Moon
Chapter 37

"Mas Nizam has already gone to the office, Brother," said Moon when he saw Aura in front of him at this moment.

"I'm not looking for Nizam, I'm here to see you" Aura replied as she flashed her friendly smile.

The moon finally invited Aura to speak inside the house. The two women are now sitting in the living room, but on different couches and facing each other.

"How are you doing, Moon? We haven't seen each other in months."

"Alhamdulillah well, Brother. How's Aura doing?"

"Yes, thank goodness too. Oh yeah, how are you doing, is it getting better?" ask Aura. This time from the question and the look on her face, Aura was demanding an honest answer from the Moon.

"What does Brother Aura mean?" The moon tried to ascertain the direction of the woman's conversation before her.

"Your PTSD disorder. I once accidentally found your medical history at the hospital where I worked, so I want to know your progress now."

The moon frowned as it let out a deep breath. "Alhamdulillah if it's getting better too."

"Have you been touched by Nizam? Or until now you haven't touched at all?"

The moon did not immediately answer, he just bowed while mer3mas skirt on his knees. Hearing Aura's question, the woman immediately felt uneasy. For whatever reason, Aura had absolutely no right to ask something as deeply personal as that.

"Sorry, Brother Aura. It seems that your question does not need me to answer. That's my personal business, and you don't need to know" said Months later.

"Alright, I take your words as an answer if you have never touched." Aura paused for a moment and then took out a paper from inside her bag.

"Today I went to the hospital in this city to see my friend who is an obgyn doctor, and it turns out that Nizwa had just done an examination there. You must know the reason, right? In this paper, she is declared pregnant."

The Moon's heart started pounding looking at the piece of paper before him. He wanted to take the paper, but his hands felt so stiff. Of course he was happy to know the news of his sister-in-law's pregnancy. However, Aura's goal of showing Nizwa's test results is not that simple. There was another goal he could have guessed.

"Moon, Nizam is a normal grown man. He has a biological need and certainly also has a desire for offspring. Wanna see when you make him keep holding back like that? Maybe in front of you he looks patient and fine, but behind you he must be tormented."

The moon further strengthened the grip on the fabric of her skirt. Sure enough, this was the true purpose of Aura and he hated the fact that he was influenced by the words of Aura. Before this, he felt fine looking at Nizam who was always smiling. However, hearing the woman's words, her heart trembled and guilt began to spread throughout her body.

"What is your purpose in actually telling me this?" tanya Moon was trying to control herself to keep looking calm.

"I don't mean anything, but my advice is, if you love Nizam, you better give it to a mentally healthier woman like me. I'm sure Nizam will be happy, no matter how we used to love each other," said Aura so heart-piercing Moon, to make the woman smile wryly.

"You want to be a second wife, Mas Nizam? Are you sure you can be happy to be among us who already love each other right now? It is not past love that is certainly not the same, or even gone," asked Moon without letting go of a smile on her face.

"No, that's not what I mean," elak Aura quickly.

"So you mean, you want me and Mas Nizam to split up, then you want to change my position?"

Aura was now just silent, whether she accepted the statement of the Moon or not, which she obviously could not dodge.

The moon laughed and looked at Aura who did not respond, then said again, "Sir Aura .., you know, how I've been judging you from the late Star?" The moon looked at Aura who was still silently staring at him.

"You are a woman of Sholehah, not only that, she also said that you are gentle and sincere. I never saw you back then, but as a woman I salute you enough. But, after seeing your attitude today, it seems like my judgment is wrong," said Moon who also managed to hit Aura's heart.

"But, Moon. This is all for the good of Nizam ...."

"Well whatever it is, you still want a farewell between me and Mas Nizam. Doesn't that include ruining people's households?" hiss the Moon, followed by a stern look at Aura.

"Remember, Brother! Destroying the household of others is an act that is very proud of the devil and hated by God. You must know that!" The moon spoke slowly but with great emphasis, its teeth even tightened when it spoke.

The aura again could only be silent. As if he had no reason this time to defend and justify what he did.

"Sorry, Brother Aura. You better just go home, don't ruin your self by coming to people's houses to ruin their homes. This matter let me and Mas Nizam take care of it, you don't bother."

Aura stared intently at the Moon as it got evicted. He walked quickly to the door and stopped for a moment and looked at her.

While the Moon now rests her body on the back of the sofa. Her eyes began to glaze over when she remembered Aura's words, especially before the woman left. Really, he felt the fear of losing a husband like Nizam especially now that he so consciously loved her.

In the afternoon, Nizam had just arrived home so cheerfully. He met the wife who was apparently waiting for his presence on the front porch of the house.

"Assalamu 'alaikum, dear," said the man with a big smile.

"Wa'alaikum hail, Mas. What was? I think it's really happy?" search the Moon while taking over the husband's office bag.

"Yes, Honey. Sorry, I can't hide my feelings." Nizam walked with the Moon to the room.

"What's wrong, Mom?" ask Moon and smile.

"You don't know? Nizwa told our family group chat that she was pregnant. Thank God, I did not expect the little boy to be a mother soon" replied Nizam while sitting on the edge of the bed.

The smile on the face of the Moon slowly faded, not because he did not like it, but because he remembered the words of Aura this morning. Nizam's smile makes him more sure if the man wants the same thing.

Don't want to look sad Moon gets out of the room and helps Mak Nira prepare dinner. For the time being, let all his sorrow he keeps to himself. The woman was sure that one day she would be healed. If that time comes, he can immediately fulfill his obligations and no longer need to worry about interference from Aura.

A few days later, the news of Aura was never heard from again. Nizam never said anything about him either. It makes the Moon a little relieved, hopefully he does not disturb the household again.

Today, Nizam invites Moon to visit his parents' house while enjoying the holiday. Both of them are now in a car that is traveling at medium speed. Every now and then the couple told each other lightly.

Their conversation came to a halt when Nizam's phone rang. Nizam, who was focused on driving, asked the Moon to help him pick up the phone. However, when he saw the name Aura, he asked the husband to pull over for a moment the car so that the man who immediately spoke.

Moon only silently watched as Nizam spoke to the woman who a few days ago asked her to let go of her husband. Although he did not know what Aura was talking about, he felt that something had happened to the woman.

"What's up, Mom?" tanya Moon after Nizam saved her phone back.

"Aura is sick, it's been a few days that she can't eat well. What he eats will definitely be regurgitated."

"Innalillah," said the Moon.

"Aura did have heartburn from her teens and would relapse when she was stressed or had a lot of thoughts." Nizam paused for a moment, then turned to the moon.

"He asked me to go see him and bring him his favorite rice cakes that are only sold in this city, but he refused."

"Why?"

"Yes, because I'm married, honey."

"But Aura, isn't it your best friend, Mas?"

Nizam laughed at the words of the Moon, then said, "There is no such thing as a woman's friend to a married man, dear. And vice versa."

The moon smiled at the husband's face. Truly, he was so happy to hear Nizam's reply that it was enough to calm his heart.

"Let's continue on our way." Nizam spoke so passionately, then started to step on the accelerator. However, from the opposite direction, suddenly a car hit their car to cause a loud enough sound.

Braaac

"Mas Nizam!" the Moon shouted as she found Nizam unconscious beside her.
