Chapter 14—Ke auction

Shouts from the street were heard by Arch and Anson. A man scolded a girl by saying that she had stolen her money.

"Don't look there! It was just a trick. There have been many who use such tricks to attract the sympathy of visitors to the Holaust region." Arch looked into the eyes of the girl who had once glanced at him.

"A lot of people use trash. I also often encounter this situation in other areas." Anson felt that what Arch said had a point.

"Stay focused on our goals this time!" Arch saw a bunch of people in fancy clothes.

Arch decided to approach a group of people in fancy clothes. Judging from the way they dressed, it was clear that all those groups of people seemed to be nobles or middle and high class merchants.

If you look at it, it's like the best dress contest. All the clothes worn were covered in glittering gold as decoration. The poor could only stare from a distance at the gold ornaments, then think what if I stole the clothes from them?.

Arch could only shake his head at this strange situation. On the one hand there are those who get a beautiful destiny like the rich people who are escorted then on the other side feelings of envy, anger, anger, sorrow filled the faces of the poor who could not even imagine what kind of life the rich felt.

Arch asked one of the bodyguards, because his body was short so Arch told Anson to just ask.

"Excuse me, what are they doing here?" Anson tried to ask a guard.

"Oh, are you also a guest? You should've known that the auction was about to start, so we were waiting for a guide to walk to the auction site."

"So, thank you for telling me."

"Yes." Yeah."

Anson shared the information he got after asking.

"Gathering to wait for a driver? All right, let's follow this bunch of people!"

"good. Young master."

After ten minutes someone wearing simple formal clothing appeared.

"Everyone, I'm sorry I came in longer than expected. Please follow me to the auction venue. Make sure you don't look away as we walk into the basement!"

Along the dark journey, it was light after the guide lit a light on the item he was holding. Travel seems normal, once entering deeper into the basement is no longer a wall on either side but a prison of magic animals.

All monsters of strange shapes welcomed on the way. The guide also told him to stay calm because the prison had been locked using magic. The stench was also smelled from several prisons that were passed through. Arch saw that there were about ten magical beasts that died just left alone.

"My job is done here. Please give the guard an invitation card so you can get a seat." The driver left the people.

"Invitation card? I forgot about the auction rules." Arch thought about how to get an invitation card.

The rule that must be known by customers is to have an invitation card that is specifically purchased from an auction agent. Invitation cards are also expensive. Not only that is the problem, invitation cards are difficult to get even though they have met auction agents. Some people even killed people who got invitation cards to be able to attend the auction event.

"Okay, the problem is over. I'm gonna show you this card?" Arch is afraid to be discovered even though the shape of the card is similar.

The chair is full. Arch got the front with Anson. The show started when everyone was seated. The woman in the green uniform came out from behind the stage. The voice he let out was clearly heard from using loudspeaker magic.

"Everything has gathered? I will start the auction, but before going to the main event, I will first start the small event. There are two small children here at a low price. With thirty silver coins. Haishhh. because it is weak so we cannot sell defective goods at a high price. Please offer the price through silver coins."

Just now the woman said stuff? Oy they are human not goods and also handicapped? what the hell is this. I have to go to see the owner of the auction.

Arch whispered to Anson. The gazes of the people who were there were very annoying.people were staring at the two children in front like useless items at all. Wood boards began to lift, a sound began one by one appeared to offer a price. Arch also raised the wooden board that had been provided next to the chair.

"A hundred silver coins."

Only the sound of Arch offers a high price.

"Will anyone raise the price again? There ain't? Alright the highest price fell on the customer up front so please meet the officer behind to sign some letters!"

The person who buys something from them must sign a piece of paper stating that the full responsibility will not be on the auction owner's responsibility in case something happens.

Arch met the officer behind who happened to be the owner of the auction. Arch can tell from his clothes and behavior. The smile displayed should be good to look at but something was hidden by that person.

"Is there something, customer?"

"Horios, is that your name?" Arch looked at the signed paper.

"Right, young master of the God family. The Arch Lord who had subdued the elf tribe and run a dungeon became a source of money. Hahaha, where's the idea? Not thought at all. I'm envious, you know, because I believe the revenue from dungeons is greater than an auction or a black market. Not to mention the adventurers instead of kapok coming to the dungeon, they actually seem obsessed with wanting to finish the dungeon you modified."

"Well, surely you got from the information guild, huh?"

"Actually I asked for other information, but the person in the room said all that information and the laughter it gave out was very noisy."

It must be uncle. I'm certain. Who else, if not that fool? I want to ask him to fight. Uncle why leak about me to someone else. No, did you just tell this guy? Akhhh, fucked. You stupid uncle.

"Please secret from others!"

"I'm just keeping to myself this information. What else will I get if I tell the others?"

"Then I'm even more worried!"

"Frankly, I was happy to meet the Arch's young master. Did you come here just to buy two kids?"
