Chapter 25—Go to enemy headquarters

Anson opened the door slowly, leaving the bodies of the men behind. Arch follows behind, this is like a house in general that only has long chairs and tables.

Arch looked around, there was something strange why there was a palm on the wall? Is that the key to entry? Is there a secret path? Or is there a basement? Arch began to lay his hands on the wall with palms.

The palm of the hand was very large, it was probably Arch's small hand. Anson who was looking at the small smile looked at Arch's extremely focused behavior.

Arch began to give up fiddling and took out artifacts. As he took out the artifact, Anson was surprised to attempt to stop the Arch.

He knows what Arch will do. Suddenly the sound of explosions was heard so loud that the walls were smashed and dust was flying everywhere.

Artifacts small explosion, although small explosion but the sound caused so loud. Fortunately, Arch uses soundproofing Artifacts (Suppressor).

An artifact capable of removing sound as if nothing had happened. As loud as it is, the sound emitted will be eliminated by this artifact.

The way it works is very simple, the Suppressor artifact will still balance the disturbed air molecules. Artifacts that are very easy to carry anywhere because of their simple size.

This artifact is always used Arch every time experimenting so that anyone who passes through his room does not hear anything.

The innocent Arch just entered the basement located on the broken floor. Will all be well Anson's mind begins to fill the head.

Slowly the Arch stepped down the stairs leading them into a hallway.

The hallway that was illuminated by the light of the magic lamp began to clearly show its shape. Like a circular labyrinth.

After traveling around the passageway, Arch and Anson began to see a crack in the sunlight that signaled the end of the passageway.

It was unexpected that the passageway ended in a forest where there was a small river blocking it.

"How about, young master?"

Anson who had been cleaning his clothes was glued to see the river in front.

The size of the river is not too big, but they do not know the depth of the river and what animals inhabit it.

"Come, make a bridge!"

"Please, young master. This is no time for jokes."

"Who's kidding? Anson, listen! I can do little things like this. So don't underestimate me, yeah."

"Okay, young master."

The Arch took out the artifact back, a long shape like wood. Indeed it is from wood, then the tool can imitate an object that can be used in water.

Artifacts that are very long, need several trials for maximum results to spend a lot of time.

Arch will no longer make these artifacts unless it is necessary.

Arch didn't take issue with the time it was made because he could make this artifact in various ways, it was just that the materials for this artifact were a little difficult to find and the duration of use was only ten minutes.

Although Arch tried to extend the duration of time, the duration only increased by one minute.

This frustrated him a bit, the details of the Barclay Artifact maker are still being developed.

Arch could have given up on making Barclay Artifacts, but his clean nature forced him not to give up.

A good first step in starting small, Arch considers this a challenge for him.

"Yosh, throw!"

Arch threw while shouting. Artifacts increase in size, until objects named boats are formed from the artifact.

Anson looked intently at the thing, he was surprised by what it was doing.

"Is this the new one, young master?"

"No, it's still an old version. I'll fix it again later."

"Ho, that! You are always full of surprises, young master."

"Let's ride!"

Arch boarded the boat with Anson, Arch saw Anson who was looking for something until Arch asked.

"What's wrong?"

"Hahaha, what am I thinking! This boat travels automatically when we put magic moves, look! Moving it?"

"Sure, incredible. Unique mechanism."

Arch who heard began to sigh, Anson knew that his breath was tired.

"Because of the short usage time, so I chose a mechanism like this to save time."

The river started across the river, the boat raced pretty fast.

Arch began to ask in his mind about the way they crossed this river.

There should have been a boat on one side, seeing the absence of it made the Arch guess that they crossed the river with magic which meant that their witch members were quite a lot.

To be able to use flying magic at least you have to share mana together.

Flying magic was extremely draining of mana, so magicians had to sacrifice their mana for comrades who were about to cross the river.

"Is there a witch among them?"

"Nothing, all just a melee weapon use."

"There's something weird!"

The boat reached the river side. Arch and Anson immediately descended, the time being so fitting that the Artifact returned to its original form.

This artifact can be used several times, so that's another advantage.

The forest is filled with medicinal plants, poisonous plants, and insects. It's like an excursion into a protected forest.

An old mansion was visible, the surrounding area looked dark. Trees also dried up around the mansion to square-shaped barren land.

Something went wrong, Arch's premonition continued to shout, an extremely black— energy Arch could feel.

Not only him, the same thing in Anson as well.

"Are they researching black magic, but to what stage?"

Anson quickly replied.

"It must have cost me a lot of soul. Moreover, the soul of a good person will be very influential."

"I understand. This black magic is so exciting!"

"I beg you, young master. Don't risk your life!"

"OKAY. I leave it to you again."

"Okay, I'm so grateful you've listened to me."

When Anson set foot on the ground, the ground shook, giving rise to a cluster of slow-moving human skulls.

Even so, their looks were still very frightening. A bunch of human skulls that left nothing, all pure just no bones.

Arch gulped until he saw the skull moving towards him.

Anson smashed the skull with his bare hands, like hitting a soft object. Because the commotion pulled a group of people out. Things get more tense when people who are in fact the guards of the mansion attack Anson.

All types of melee combatants, swords that swung to Anson's head should have slashed Anson's head, people were surprised when Anson dodged the attack so easily, as if he had read all the enemy's movements.

Anson slashed people's heads one by one until the rest retreated away.

Only with his hands alone was he able to separate the heads because the strength of his hands was very light and fast.

Anson began to open the distance with the remaining people.

About six people, Anson wanted to end this as soon as possible and the skull collection was very disturbing movement.

As Arch was about to move, Anson quickly jumped into a collection of skulls until the bones were scattered by the impact of Anson's body.

Letting Arch overcome the skull meant he had failed with his promise.
