Chapter 22—I want to see the buyer

No answer from the others made Horios stand up and make a sound.

"You can't meet him! It is a rule for a slave not to force to find his buyer—"

As Horios explained at length, Arch waved his hand as if telling Horios to shut up and sit back quietly.

"It's okay, Horios. It's only natural that if he does, sometimes explaining won't do any good."

Horios leaned over, she sat back as usual. Seeing Horios who was obedient to a small child was a strange sight.

"Sister Horios? If that's what you want, then I'm sorry for the selfish act that forced."

He was like an adult who was worried about his children. The calm and sensitive nature of the current situation made Arch think of the value of the child.

"Just tell me what you want to tell that buyer! Who knows if I know him and can ask him to see you!"

Hearing Arch's words, like a hope reappeared on his face. He walked up to Arch and stopped beside the seated Arch.

"Please tell me, not—how do I get this started?"

He hesitated in speaking, stopping to compose a simpler sentence for Arch to understand.

"My time isn't just to wait to talk, so get started!"

Arch told him to speak immediately, in Arch's speech there was an order that made him jerk for a moment.

"Ah, here. Right now, although we're outwardly healthy, some children are in fairly weak condition even if they're fed."

Arch nodded, this made sense as he mentioned it. Just because you're fed doesn't mean that your health isn't a problem.

"I am so grateful to Brother Horios for taking us in."

Arch just talk.

" Even though you are merchandise?"

Hearing Arch, he smiled bitterly with his face down unable to refute Arch's words earlier.

"Right, we were given shelter and food that filled our stomachs, so there must definitely be a price paid. The fact that Brother Horios is to us is a hero who has picked us up this useless one."

Arch was silent, several times he blinked until he repeated this move. The sighing made the people around Arch watch over him. Even so, there was no sound that people issued out of confusion.

"Little bit! Don't convolve! Start by introducing your name and what you want to say!"

"I've been disrespectful to you so please accept this apology." He bent his body trying to make up for the disrespect earlier. "My name is Ricard mandelson. I want the kids to be treated well by feeding and not working hard."

"Ho, I get it. Did he say he wanted to see the buyer? Well, now he's in front of you." Anson just spoke while nodding his head.

Boston also understood what Ricard mandelson said. The shabby boy who dared to express his wishes, but not his personal desires made Boston put a sense of pride on him. On the contrary Anson did not put a sense of anything because he would only be proud or something like that on Arch —young master only.

"So you're the buyer? I'll thank you if you—"

Ricard Mandelson's words were cut short by Anson who replied "Not him!" Ricard Mandelson was surprised and looked at Anson. Realizing that, Anson immediately took a deep breath and repeated the words.

Ricard Mandelson wondered, if not the two of them then who? There was only one person he had yet to confirm, but was it possible that a child could afford to spend a lot of money? Not—Ricard Mandelson thought could have been as long as he was a noble or a wealthy merchant. It's just, how did that kid —Arch get the purchase permission?

The child who had a plain and cute face that sat down displayed a slight smile with the teacup in his hand that bought the children here? How come? Ricard mandelson's head was getting more complicated when questions started popping up. He then tried to forget all the questions he asked and looked directly at Arch.

Arch who finished the tea, put the tea back with a graceful move he woke up to Ricard mandelson. As if to tell the difference between the two, Arch puffed his chest so that his posture looked good.

"Right, I'm the buyer."

Dizziness approached Ricard mandelson who then began to nausea and down to the stomach. It is not because of illness but so surprised he when Arch spoke in a cold tone made Ricard mandelson realize the position between him and the child in front of him—Arch.

Although he did not know the age of Arch, it was clear from the physical Arch was much younger than him. It's even possible that Arch hasn't had a manhood ceremony thought Ricard mandelson.

"How is it possible? Is that true, Brother Horios?"

Horios nodded, after confirming to Horios that it was impossible to lie to him, Ricard mandelson asked.

"Do you buy on behalf of others? May I know who you are?"

The change in speech by changing your word to you is obvious that he tries to speak politely to make sure first who Arch is.

"I? Isn't it obvious that I'm an Arch! I only heard you from someone so I bought you guys. I need you guys anyway. Well, like getting you guys trained troops, ahem—so, do you understand?"

"Teacher? Are we going to be tortured?"

"Oh, it's not like that. You'll be placed in a dormitory, it's kind of a house that has a lot of rooms. Your needs will be met such as food, clothing, and bedding. The hostel will be split into two for men and women."

"Is there a price to pay? Calling our various needs will be met makes me doubt you a little!"

"Train seriously. Dedicate your life to being an army that will fight with me, of course you can refuse if you don't want to. Look, you only have two choices, first refuse and live as a coward who can only run."

Ricard Mandelson was very serious about hearing Arch speak. To the point that his eyes barely blinked.

"Second, fight with me. Become someone who dies proudly on the battlefield. Who will be remembered as a warrior!"

Ricard mandelson's heart periodically starts to heat up. His heart was racing like something was grabbing his body. A strange feeling enveloped him, the second choice was not bad. Being warriors and fighting for their master, Ricard mandelson replied.

"I want to be part of your army. Fight alongside my comrades and bring victory to my master."

There are no lies in Ricard Mandelson. Seeing the look of Arch there was doubt in his heart, but the doubt disappeared as Arch said confidently.

Arch was satisfied with Ricard mandelson's answer. The two boys smiled, Arch also patted Ricard mandelson on the shoulder in recognition of having been accepted into the Arch army. Anson who saw the atmosphere was happy even though his face did not express anything, but deep in his heart Anson was very happy.
