Chapter 15—A offer

Horios's face turned into a curious taste. He knew that Arch couldn't have come to the Holaust region where crime rates were high and lifestyles were poor. Horios placed his auction because Holaust was most suitable for hiding when the holy knight army investigated the illegal sale of forbidden goods, slavery, and the sale of magical animals protected directly by imperial law.

Horios pays the chairman to keep his mouth shut about black market operations and auctions in the basement. Of course, if the chairman divulges his place then Horios will provoke the population that the chairman has accepted the agreement and the money is so great without the consent of the population. Although Horios often displays a smile, the fact is that a smile is only a disguise to cover up all the crimes he committed in the Holaust region.

"I get to the point, who buys materials like this from you? Is that guy called Affilor?"

"I can't tell the buyer's name to anyone else because it's our agreement, but I'll tell you that it's not the name that gives these ingredients."

What Horios said was true, an agreement between a buyer and a seller exists at the request of the buyer. They are certainly afraid of being dragged away by unwanted things when buying something on the black market that is definitely off limits. Therefore magic (covenant) is done, if violated then the stakes are life.

Arch wrote the night poison ingredients on the paper. He had a little trouble explaining what materials he bought so writing on paper names materials more efficiently according to Arch. Such magic (covenant) for Horios would have no effect whatsoever. He could break easily the magic core of the agreement without being known to the buyer.

"Anson, save this paper! I think I'm gonna give up on that question. Now, what did you do to the children who were slaves other than collect the materials?"

Children sold by their parents, children without parents, and children thrown away are all collected in one room. Groomed, fed so that their nutrition is sufficient and stamina is strong so that their work can be faster.

"It is difficult to sell children to nobles or merchants. Because of their energy, also if caught hiring minors then the death penalty will wait. Only one or two were sold. Ho, are you going to report me to the holy knight?"

"Make what? I want to buy them all at any price! Must have been a lot of money spent taking care of those poor kids."

"really? How many children do you want, even if you are a child, seems to me wrong. I thought you'd be upset to know that children are being labored or sold. It turned out that it was true that the God family was indeed not a careless family."

Horios is amazed at Arch's actions that remain calm when it comes to human sales. If Horios were to become Arch, he would certainly take action to stop this evil. Given the past events that Horios had experienced when someone pulled his collar. One thing he still remembered in the past was that the look of the eyes of hateful anger made the entire body of Horios shudder.

Arch asked Horios to bring some children to see. Anson decides to accompany the servant whom Horios orders to pick up the children.

"Young master, since it's just the two of us now, so let's continue the conversation in a more serious direction."

"You already know. I plan to build a special facility or call it a dormitory for training to become a soldier. It just so happens that children have more potential than adults. Training them will be better until they grow up."

"Drama? I understand, wouldn't the cost of training children be greater?"

"cost? I've considered the cost."

Horios swallowed his own saliva, building a dormitory that had several rooms cost a high amount of money and risk.

"Then what facilities will be provided?"

"All facilities will be provided as fully as possible. Bed, food, clothing, comfortable learning spaces, and talented teachers will be provided. The building will be finished quickly, I'll ask the master of structural engineering magician to help him to make the foundation of each wall solid and clean of dirt."

"A....what?"

Horios' mouth was wide open to hear that Arch would use the services of a witch to build his building. I don't know how much the cost will be incurred not to mention long-term facilities? All have been taken into account Arch. Horios widened a smile as Arch finished speaking.

"less? Oh, in charge of the dorm?" guess Horios.

"Rubber, the dormitory will be designed like an academy in general. What I'm worried about is that the hostel I appointed was managing arbitrarily. Making his job title as a tool to subjugate teachers will be very detrimental."

"Then just look for what you think is appropriate. No need to rush the most important thing you have to find workers who will care for and cook for children."

"I just realized. Focusing too much on this issue even forgetting the original purpose of coming."

Anson brought four children with the waiter. The children were very fit, greeting Arch even though their faces looked sad.

"Anson can we talk outside for a second?" Arch took Anson away for a while.

Arch plans to hand over the dorm duties to Anson. Let Anson take care of the purchase documents and construction permit documents. Arch explained every detail until Anson understood what Arch had assigned.

"I will try to carry out the tasks that you give well. Is the young master going to be okay going alone?"

"Don't worry."

Arch is back in. Horios was already waiting for what Arch would say from earlier. Unknowingly he did his habit of grasping the thumb finger.

"I want to offer you a cooperation!"

"What kind of cooperation?" Horios's face was full of curiosity at this moment.

"I'll lend my name to your auction and black market. In return, you need to be on my side. If I need anything from you can you provide? Then mention the characteristics of the person who bought the materials earlier from you!"

"The name of one of the members of the Lord's family? Great, what dream did I have last night to get such a wonderful offer? Ah, it seems like my current feelings are very turbulent. Incredible, do you know the risks? What if I commit an even more serious crime using your name? Aren't you afraid of the law that's gonna ensnare?"

"We have a privilege about the law. Even if you admit that you're my man who's gonna punish you later?"

"That's the great status. How strong and rich a person is still he must remain submissive before a person of higher power. I will accept your offer. Hahaha. I'll say it, the guy who bought the ingredients is named Latreb. He's wearing all black."

Lending means allowing someone else to say your name for what he or she does. The borrower's name let alone that of a person who has a high degree is a great advantage. People will stay away from problems that have been related to this. if the name has been mentioned then anyone who is opposed will deal with the person named.

The Arch family, had the highest position alongside the other three families. Their position was not something that was considered one-eyed by people. Even high-ranking nobles or people who had a special title could not invite them by just sending a representative. They were the ones who had to come directly to the residence of the four families.

Sometimes out of four families, never before has everything come. Especially the God family who rarely came to the events held. The atmosphere would be awkward, the last time Emilia came to the tea show. She was instead mobbed by another lady, so Emilia raised a short sword from behind the dress she was hiding. All away directly, Emilia continued to hold the sword in her left hand as well as the right hand raised the teacup. The feeling after all of being away felt more comfortable.

It's all done. Arch returned to retrieve his horse which he had hidden. Arch went back to the territory of God. Heading to where the Affilor lives. Horios said the one who bought the ingredients was Latreb. Arch felt something was off about his name.
