Chapter 23—Meeting the kids

Once all is done, Arch decides to immediately go take care of the stupid organizational problems that have caused problems for his family. Horios gave a small laugh staring at Arch who put on a serious look. He several times noticed the look on Arch's face that sometimes wrinkled, irritated, and pupils look tired.

"Young master, how about you meet the children in his room? It would be better to look at their situation, even if you have a lot of free time!"

Actually Arch would refuse, he could see them next time. It's just that because one child attracted the attention of Arch, it's not a problem to visit other children, there could still be many of them who are attractive to Arch.

"Well, I'll just see them after that I have to go take care of the others. Oh, after all my work is done should we continue the plan for the future?"

Horios was impressed, Arch still looks busy can still talk plans for the future makes Horios see Arch as something more than interesting words. Not only that, the boy (Arch) had a slight resemblance to him. In what sense is that resemblance? Horios only smiled and smiled considering the Arch figure that was very opposite to his appearance.

"Ricard mandelson, please escort the Arch's young master to the children's quarters, yes!"

Ricard mandelson replied "Yes."

Anson follows Arch in the back while Boston is given orders by Arch to go home because there is nothing he can do anymore. The three men walked straight with Ricard mandelson in front of Arch and Anson.

The door of the room looked a little open, it seemed like the children were worried about Ricard mandelson coming out from earlier. They must have peered out several times from the opening of the door. Ricard Mandelson opened the door of the room, being careful because behind him was the closest person who bought them.

Thinking what if one of them put out a word or behaved disrespectfully to Arch, would there be any punishment? No, Ricard Mandelson didn't think Arch would punish people so much! Especially if they are children! The thing is, Arch is also still a child so there is a chance that he will ignore that.

"Everyone, I'm back!"

The condition of the room is quite ordinary, not good or bad. Plain wooden walls with nothing on display, three-storied bedding covered in cloth to cover white mattresses and pillows. The room was so simple. There were no closets, as they kept the clothes in wooden boxes stored under the bed.

A boy trembled trying to ask Ricard mandelson even though his face was about to cry.

"Sister Ricard, is it okay? Hows it? Did it work? Or failed? No, it's all right that's important that you get back here."

All nodded in agreement that it was better for Ricard Mandelson to return safely. Arch began to try to observe them, there were thirty in number, but there were still many more children in separate rooms so Arch could not count in its entirety.

"Sir Ricard, who are they?"

Ricard Mandelson looked back, then he realized he had forgotten Arch and Anson who stood still. Ricard mandelson introduced them.

"I hope you can calm down! These two people are the ones who bought us. What is clear is that he was named Arch who bought us from Horios. Next I'll explain to you later."

"Oh, are we leaving this place?"

The girl next to the boy asked. Not only him, other questions also came from the children until the situation became noisy. Arch began to wrinkle his brows hearing the noise from the various sounds.

Prok, Prok, Prok.

The sound of applause came out of the Arch's hands that managed to calm the situation. The other children set their sights on Arch. This is Arch's chance to talk.

One said "Ha" a puzzled sigh and he replied.

"Our circumstances? When I ask that I'm confused too."

Ricard mandelson nodded in support of the child's answer. Their situation is indeed confusing to say, Arch who feels there is no more important thing to say goodbye to children.

"I'll be back later. If you have anything to ask, please ask him! Horios is also the child who comes to explain to you, listen and remember what he said later!"

The children wanted to say not to go first, but they were too afraid to say that to Arch. The children knew Arch must be the son of an unusual family, seeing an old man behaving respectfully to the Arch could already justify their allegations. Also Arch mentioned the name that was older than him without using the honor suffix had very clearly indicated his status.

Anson walked next to Arch because of Arch's orders. They both started a conversation.

"Anson, after this come with me somewhere else!"

"As you wish, young master. I'll follow you wherever you want."

"Well, can you tell me about me! Don't you feel weird about my attitude or something similar?"

Anson looked towards Arch, he was holding a smoothed moustache like he was combing one way. Anson stopped walking and said.

"Seek whatever you are and don't care who you are. The young master is still a young master whom I respect and as your servant I feel good to be by your side. Whatever action you take I will still support you, young lord Arch."

"Open, yeah. Then if one day I get killed what are you gonna do?"

Arch stopped in front of Anson, Anson's eyes shaking. His pupils widened as if this expression was the first time Anson showed. His hands clenched together with a slightly shaking mouth and furrowed eyebrows. Anson was silent for a moment as if he could not believe what he had just heard.

"Don't tell me that, young master Arch. I can be sad if the people I serve all my life die before me."

A few moments later Arch smiled at Anson.

"Just calm down, it's not going to happen. Trust me."

"believe it? Can I believe it, young master?"

"Life is only one time because we are only given one life? So I'll take care of my life."

"True, please keep yourself out of danger. Until you find the beautiful end of your life, young master."

"A beautiful end? Haha... There is only one ending waiting for a living creature that is death, but how you die is the end different from your story later. If I reach a beautiful end then—ah, forget it."

Anson was curious at the last word Arch wanted to say. Until Ricard mandelson yells for Arch.
