RED EYES

RED EYES
Settle or Leave Dark Point

The moon is still visible above the sky, so are the stars. The sky is vast and gives beauty to this small place. Trees that look dry still look beautiful at night because the sky is amazingly beautiful. Lying on the slightly dry grass while staring at the night sky was one I liked in this place.

"Daughter, the queen asks you to go to sleep immediately." A palace guard told me. I replied with a nod.

Maybe this was too soon, I started accepting queen Vei as my birth mother and started accepting this small place as my home. I don't like Garde, who keeps witches locked up in a small area, but I don't understand why witches can't accept that. Not all places are beautiful places, but the abode will be very beautiful if it is filled with peace and memories.

The knock on the door made me realize, I was too swept away in my thoughts and emotions. I looked towards the door that was starting to open. Apparently Eric.

"Sleep!" Eric asked me to go to bed immediately, but I stood up after hearing his orders.

"Why?" My toot.

We were silent and only the sound of the clock was heard. I looked at him but he took his eyes off me.

"I'm going to go." Eric.

"Gear!" My voice stopped his steps.

"Wizards are not evil. They just want justice and to get away from the sadness, that's how I've felt." My speech.

"You want to forget Garde and Wiender?" Ask Eric. I'm nodding.

Eric entered my room in one step. We are still close, although still far away. Our eyes began to meet.

"I also wanted a new life a long time ago. Although I don't want this place, but I want to start a more beautiful life." The reply.

"I-i"

"Tomorrow for archery practice?" Teach Eric to cut my words.

I smiled as I looked at the excited Eric again as he spoke to me. My smile was answered with his smile. I also nodded to accept him.

"I'll wait for the sun to come up." Eric and he came out of my room.

I don't see any sign of witches wanting to kill Garde or any humans. They all look good. This place also contains people who are valuable to me. I want to start a new life here at Dark Point.

....

The sun has not yet risen, but I am awake. I don't know why I'm so enthusiastic about archery practice. I used to do it a lot in Wiender, but only this time I really wanted to do it.

I don't dress beautifully like a princess because I'm just practicing archery. But for no reason as I know, I always wanted the best performance.not only that, my heart was also beating faster and my whole skin was shivering.

"You happy?" The voice of someone I know is heard in my room.

"You survived?" I smiled very wide. Happy and relieved to see Erasmus alive.

"You smiling?" Erasmus asked sarcastically. I began to not understand the expression on his face.

"Where's Cassie?" My toot.

"She was only able to blink her eyes at the moment." Reply Erasmus with ketus.

I stepped closer to him so that Erasmus wouldn't have to step on a limp leg. But he kept stepping. His eyes look sharp. No more smiles.

"We must end this war." My words stopped his steps. He smiled, not like the smile he used to put out.

"You who love your new life and forget the dead bodies in Wiender. There's no peace, there's only losing or winning."

"Free the witches from Dark Point and let them live with Garde. They just want to be free, there's no need to lose and win." I retaliated.

"They had already crossed the line between Dark Point and Kangel, they had also managed to destroy Wiender. Their goal was to enter the vast earth after opening the portal from Wiender!" Erasmus spoke with very high intonation.

"There's no sign of war here. They-"

"Because they have you. Your blood is a weapon, Claire!" He cut my words.

I also passed through Erasmus. I don't want to hear all of his words. His face looks so angry at me.

I am happy with his arrival. I'm so happy to see him survive that bridge. Even though Cassie's paralyzed, at least I'm glad to hear she survived. I wanted to ask how they survived and how Erasmus entered Dark Point, but it was too upset to talk to him.

"I beg Claire, believe me!" Pinta Erasmus's.

"You said once that if my hometown was wiped out, you meant to lie to me by saying there was no Dark Point and my mother had died. Why don't you tell me my mom's alive and she's looking for me? You remember all your promises? There's not one promise you've kept. How do I trust you?" My reply.

He's silent.

"Go! This isn't a good place for you." I said that word to say goodbye.

He stepped with his legs limping. Throwing a disappointed look at me. I don't know who's right and who's wrong. Erasmus demanded that I believe his opinion that witches are evil. However, there was no visible crime and error.

"I hope your guess is right." Erasmus said at the mouth of the door. He also left.
