RICH MAN

RICH MAN
HOPED

Morning at the residence of his parents, Rey deliberately lived there according to his mother's request. Although he and his wife already had the house he had bought, but his mother always asked him to stay at his parents' house only, because one time he left Marwa alone at home. So that his wife was not lonely, the mother also suggested that he and his wife stay at his parents' house, although he had refused but in the end Rey also agreed to his wife's wishes.

The intention, is to build a household without the intervention of both parents when they are in trouble but during the stay at home parents as well, he said, his parents never interfered if he and Marwa often argued about the differences experienced by the two. His parents understood that, and it was also what led Rey to believe that her parents really did not interfere in her personal life.

He was dressed in a neat suit, seeing his wife still asleep, it felt like he was so unbearable to wake Marwa because last night his wife suddenly had a fever and made her stay up late.

"Mas," call Marwa. Rey who had been staring at his wife stroked his wife's head gently. "You want to work?"

"Yes, are you okay?"

"Can you work today? I'm accompanied, Mas,"

Rey who could not bear to listen to the soft voice of his wife, he nodded then kissed his wife's forehead. After her honeymoon a few weeks ago, Marwa was more in the room and met her needs every time. Starting from cleaning the room, to food. But this time he would not let his wife get tired from the fever.

"If you forbid, I will not go to the office" he said slowly and loosened his tie, slowly opening the tie and stroking the top of his wife's head, Marwa suddenly shed tears which made Rey surprised. "You why? I was wrong?"

Marwa pulled him and hugged him. "Don't go anywhere!"

Rey lay down next to his wife and kissed her on the forehead. "Darling, why? Not feeling well even spoiled gini, we go to the doctor yuk!" take slowly. But his wife refused, since last night Rey tried to persuade his wife to go to the doctor.

"No, afraid of being injected,"

"Where's in the syringe anyway, honey. We check, you are given medicine," he explained.

"You're temenin, right?"

Rey nods then hugs his wife, perhaps just his feelings alone or because he just touched Marwa and does not know that his wife's month is routine or not, what he knows is that sometimes the month comes twice a month, or sometimes routinely every month, some even come every two months.

Rey immediately dismissed the thought of Marwa who was pregnant or not, he did not want if later that his wife was not pregnant, it was precisely that made him and his wife too expect so big, so big, but instead accept the bitter reality.

"Mas, the chicken soup peppers are like carrots,"

Rey raised her eyebrows, hearing that Rey shuddered in horror. His wife asked for food. "But I want the hot one,"

"I told Auntie or Mama to make it, yeah,"

Marwa shook her head, "You did it!"

Rey scratched her head, "I can't do that, Marwa. It's not good, then,"

"Enak or no, I'll keep eating. Just like you were eating my cake that you threw away, right?"

Rey gasped at the wife's statement, remembering that she had once thrown away the food Marwa had made. The quarrel was once a source of separation between the two. And the memories of the past also make them united until now.

"Mas, will you?"

Rey looked at his wife for a moment and wiped her hair behind her ear, "Yes, I'll make it, put the hijab on. I'll get out, wait here. How will you come down, or I'll bring it here,"

"Bawain's here,"

Rey nodded, he got out of bed and kissed his wife. Replacing his work suit with an ordinary T-shirt, he momentarily saw his wife close her eyes again. He finally got out of the room and went down to the dining room.

Rey shook her head because she wanted to accompany her wife who was not feeling well. "Next time, Ma. Marwa is sick, pep awaited. Mom, aren't you busy?"

The woman looked at him for a moment. "No, Rey. What's wrong?"

"Gini loh, Ma. Marwa pep made chicken soup with carrots that, very early in the morning. And he wants me to make it, not to make it with Mama or with Auntie,"

Azka, who was casually chewing her food, looked at her son. "Ngidam time, Rey. Have you been taken to the doctor?"

"Not yet, he doesn't want to. I'm the same syringe,"

"The date of the month came, you her husband did not know,"

"Feeling me she's pregnant, Pa. But I don't want to suddenly say to him, I want to definitely go to the doctor first, afraid that later my hope will not match the reality,"

"When's the month last?" ask Mama while taking out some cooking ingredients that will be used.

Rey sat in the dining chair and grabbed a glass of water and then drank, and then she put it down again, "A few days after I found out she was Marwa, as I remember that, Ma,"

"That happened a long time ago, Rey. Really pregnant, try to take you to the doctor,"

"No way, Ma. He told me to,"

"Yes, Papa will call the doctor, tell him to come. Let you be the same he was not a fuss just because of the spele thing, remember that time you guys were a fuss just because of the bed linen,"

Rey glared as her papa said so, she very much remembered that a few weeks ago she and Marwa had not reprimanded each other for a whole day because of the quarrel, she said, until in the end both parents provide an explanation that makes both get along again. Even so, his parents tried to be a middle ground for them. Not too involved for more depth.

"Papa remembers that one,"

"Well, how do you not remember you quarreling in the laundry place, next time you do not make a fuss just because of it, because of it, Mama same Papa thought you guys would really split up when you do not know who Marwa is. Uh even a storm again because of the bed linen,"

"Pa," reprimanded his wife. Azka turned her head for a moment and grinned.

"So remember Mama when pregnant with the twins, ask rujak early in the morning. Especially if it's Papa's,"

"Make no mistake, Mama who spoiled Marwa this mah," protested Rey.

"Don't forget how Papa's suffering wailed you, Rey. Papa to ngesot, Papa to vomit every morning, Oma you until the protest to Papa at that time,"

"It hurts, Pa?"

"If you think it hurts, it hurts, Rey. Don't protest if women crave, Papa already knows how sick it hurts, so if your wife asks for something weird do it! It's still not how much, Mama hasn't asked for midnight food, the number one snack, not to mention-"

"-Start again, Pa," Nagita said with a dislike expression.

Azka scratched her head, while Rey did not comment on anything because it was about her when she was still in the cage of the mother.
