Is There Still a Chance for Me?

After Logan's departure, Neo pensively blames how stupid he is. How foolish she was and without thinking anything, she even cut off the relationship with Rihan. Now he regrets it.

Continuing to blame himself, Neo is made aware of the ringing of a cell phone on the table. The man frowned thinking Logan forgot his phone. Neo picks up the phone and intends to follow Logan who has been out since 10 minutes ago.

When the phone was held, Neo blinked several times because the name of the person who called was Logan. Neo clearly remembered the phone number of his best friend. He then raised the call.

"That's a cell phone for you. Keep it well, don't lose it again. I'll call you if there's anything important. I know, you must be sorry now. Unfortunately, it all happened. Your stupid decisions make you regret it for the rest of your life. I don't know if they'll forgive you or not. It all depends on how you suffer and how you work. I hung up!"

Logan immediately disconnected without waiting for a reply from Neo.

Neo doesn't mind that. The man was sure, his best friend who was his personal assistant was definitely disappointed in him. Neo could only sigh and exhale slowly. Neo then goes to his car and leaves from there. I don't know where that guy is going. Right now, he just didn't want to go back to his apartment.

Along the way, Neo keeps daydreaming. His chest felt tight as he recalled how he had spoken to Rihan. Neo still vividly remembers the words of that time saying Rihan was hypocritical, regretting knowing him, and his last sacred sentence was to break all ties with Rihan.

Not to mention, she was heartlessly piercing right in the heart of the person who sacrificed so much for her and her family.

Neo stepped on the brake pedal suddenly as he almost hit the car in front of him which had just stopped due to a traffic light. Neo looked down with his head leaning against the steering wheel of the car.

"My mistake was fatal. Forgive this stupid man, Rei. I regret it now. I'm sorry to tell you that. I'm really sorry. I. i..." Neo muttered while squeezing his throbbing chest in pain. Without feeling the tears the man flowed down the steering wheel of his car.

"Yes. I was so stupid I didn't realize it. How stupid of me to like a hypocrite like you. I'm really sorry!"

"From now on, I... Neondra Jacon Chixeon broke all ties with you. Chi Corporation will also withdraw all shares in the R.A Group. Remember one thing Rei! If we meet again, let's just say we don't know each other."

Neo recalled the hurtful words he had said to Rihan back then.

"I know you definitely won't forgive me, Rei. I'm really sorry! My mistake is truly inexcusable" murmured Neo again.

The man still sobbed with his head lowered in the steering wheel, until he regained consciousness and ran his car as the car behind him honked.

Neo's car has passed his apartment. His car continued to drive until he stopped at one of the minimarkets, which was quite far from his apartment. The man after crying, suddenly felt thirsty. He went down to buy a drink.

After paying, Neo got out and got into the car and then continued on his way somewhere. Just five minutes away from the minimarket, Neo's car stopped again, seeing someone he knew across the street. More precisely his lover who was eating with a man in one of the roadside restaurants.

Neo doesn't know the guy at all. When Neo wants to go down and approach Elle and the man, he is forced to undo his intention of seeing how the man treats the lover. The man was seen cleaning something on Elle's lips with his thumb, then licking his own thumb.

Not getting there. The man slightly stood up and advanced his body on Elle then tapped his lips softly on Elle. Neo just frowned not understanding what the man was doing. A second later, Neo was made to glare because Elle with a happy smile helped advance his body and briefly kissed the man's lips.

"I'm the dumbest man in the world, who doesn't know that's being taken advantage of. How foolish I was to love such a woman" Neo muttered softly and leaned back against the car seat and closed his eyes.

Neo's tears came back. Neo is like a girl who cries easily. Neo doesn't know what to do now. He could only cry and regret the stupidity. After a long period of pondering, Neo finally opens his eyes and picks up the phone Logan gave him.

Neo then typed in someone's phone number and started calling.

"I think you've forgotten me, buddy." The voice across the phone spoke then chuckled.

"I need your help" replied Neo flatly.

"You know, dealing with me isn't free."

"I know!"

"So who should I look for?"

"Elleanor Choi Thelessya. I want his full identity, and what he's been doing all this time. Soon!"

"Berez! Give me 10 minutes."

"Hm."

Call ended.

...'Rei was sentenced to life soon.'...

Neo remembered Logan's words. The man squeezed back his chest that was getting claustrophobic.

"Yes, Lord. What have I done? I'm sorry, Rei." Neo murmured in the heart.

At Rihan's private lab, Zant is currently studying some programs in Rihan's laptop. The man was so amazed by the genius brain of his little girl. Sometimes he would smile thinking about their childhood, where the behavior of his little girl is very adorable. Doctor Galant who was sitting in front of him chills at the sight of Zant's sudden smile.

"Stop thinking the no-no! Learn all that, 'cause I'm gonna test you the day after tomorrow." Zant seemed to guess the contents of Doctor Galant's head.

Zant told Doctor Galant to pick up some medical books in his mini-library in his private home and take them to this lab. Doctor Galant initially thought Zant wanted to read the books. As it turns out, Zant wants Doctor Galant to learn all that, and he'll be tested the day after tomorrow.

Using only Rihan's name as a threat, Doctor Galant finally complies and learns all of it. Zant's intention is actually so that Rihan's personal doctor can take advantage of the time to take care of Rihan well. And also, Zant had another reason, so that when he had a busy operation and his little girl needed, Rihan's personal doctor was reliable.

Initially Zant tested Doctor Galant, and it turned out that there were some cases of patients who were not well understood, so Zant asked Doctor Galant to study all the medical books that Zant could not get in any medical library.

The laboratory was silent again, until a few minutes later the vibration of incoming messages on Zant's phone. The man then opened his phone and grinned as he read the contents of the message.

"Neo began to move to find out the true nature of his lover." Zant muttered and put his phone back.

"Easy! Just continue with your job." Zant is back to the laptop screen.

Five minutes later, Zant picked up his phone and called someone.

"Prepare everything! If the time comes, I want to tame all those wild pets."

Just saying that sentence, Zant disconnected the phone connection. Again Doctor Galant stared inexplicably at the man in front of him. Zant simply ignored the man who was a year younger than him.

At 7 p.m., Neo just got back to his apartment. Entering, Neo is presented with a view of Elle who is arranging dinner at the table.

"One-way. Let's clean up and eat together." Welcome Elle with a sweet smile on Neo.

"I'm tired! Sorry, I'll take a break first." Reply Neo flatly and rush into his room. Not forgetting, the man locked the door afraid that Elle would disturb him.

"What's wrong with her?" Ask Elle in my heart.

Neo doesn't want to go home, and plans to stay at the hotel. However, he did not want to make Elle suspicious because he was trying to avoid. Neo finally decides to go home to the apartment.

"What do you mean first, if I'm used to it?" Neo murmured softly.

The man remembered Rihan's words to her first. More precisely he asks, the reason why Rihan does not want others to know that he is the mysterious CEO of R.A Group. Not even Rihan's own parents knew. And Rihan's answer is because he doesn't want to be taken advantage of.

Neo placed his right arm over his forehead while recalling his memories with Rihan back then.

"You always help me and my family without asking for anything in return, and I always trouble you. I've always troubled you. I never thought about what you did for me.

I even said spicy words to you, just for believing in my lover who turned out to be just using me. In the end, that sentence boomeranged for me." Neo muttered as he stared at the ceiling of his room.

"Is there still one chance for me, Rei?" Neo then closed his eyes, coinciding with his tears that escaped.

Alex currently has Rihan's workspace at Rihan's main headquarters. The man had been busy reading some files that Rihan had not touched at all since he disappeared from Indonesia and ended up in a coma in Germany and was admitted to his laboratory.

Asik read the file in front of him, until Alex's focus was diverted with his phone vibrating due to incoming message notifications. It was almost the same as the message Zant received.

"Happy to live up to your regrets! Take it easy, I'll help you make all your scathing words happen to Miss. I'll make you regret it for the rest of your life. Right now you're lucky Logan told you. My part later. Just wait!" Muttered Alex flat. Because of his emotions, Alex did not even realize that he had broken the pen he was holding earlier.
