Hearing Sutikno's words that forbid him to torture the strange creature, Subhan finally stopped his action and released his hand.
"Alright Sutikno, I will release this strange creature" But if I have reached the riverbank, I will throw it into the river so as not to follow my steps again" said Subhan growled.
Sutikno only nodded his head and went back to paddling their raft. Meanwhile, the strange creature began to sit while playing the paddle held by Sutikno.
Subhan was finally a little relieved to see the creature did not bother him anymore.
Sutikno seemed to be laughing merrily with the strange creature. The two of them looked very familiar and it seemed that they were having a conversation using a language that Subhan did not understand. Seeing that, Subhan began to ignore the attitude of Sutikno again, because he felt very tired. Until finally Subhan gradually began to sleepy
"Sutikno, I'm sleeping first?" I'm not strong anymore" Subhan said as he laid his body on the raft.
"Oh yes sleep" said Sutikno while continuing to paddle a raft on the river.
In his sleep, Subhan is dreaming, strange. Seen in Subhan's eyes, at that time Subhan was in a very creepy place.
In that place, many small children and adults were pounding rice. Their faces looked strange and hungry.
Until one day, Subhan saw his grandparents also pounding rice. To the right of his grandfather and grandmother, there was Sutikno with his red clothes also doing similar things
"Grandfather, grandma, why are you pounding rice?" I've never seen you do anything like this in the village" Subhan said, looking around
The strange creature looked emaciated and hungry. His eyes were wide and his tongue was dangling down. His nose is pug and his nostrils are very wide.
While Sutikno, look moody and fight creatures that gnawed his body with an axe that was currently being held.
"grandfather, grandma let's go" asked Subhan while trying to reach his grandparents but could not. It was like there was a barrier that Subhan could not break.
Subhan struggled until he woke up and looked around. It appeared that he remained at the border of the passageway and apparently he was able to get out of the passageway
When Subhan came out of the hallway, Subhan no longer saw Sutikno. Sutikno as if he was not on the raft anymore, as well as the strange creature. There is only a white robe folded neatly nearby.
"Sutikno, where are you?" don't joke with me" Subhan called while turning to the right and to the left.
It seemed that Sutikno was nowhere to be seen next to him and made Subhan a little frightened.
Sutikno's red cloth on the raft vanished without a trace. Subhan began to weep lamenting his unlucky fate. Why did he sail to the next country if he had to lose Sutikno suddenly.
While crying, Subhan saw the outer plains, there were people looking for fish in the river. There are young children his age look happy looking for fish with their parents.
"Well, have I reached the next country?" Sutikno said, I can no longer look back. "Oh yeah, where's the old man?" I need his explanation of this mystery" Subhan murmured inwardly.
