Subhan who had started to be able to escape from the dedemit that followed him, looked cheerful. Today, Subhan eats more servings than usual.
By Sarto, Subhan had been regarded as his own son and Subhan was tasked with helping Sarto in his fields with Hasan.
Once, Subhan went to the field with Hasan. The fields Sarto owned were not very extensive, however, Because Sarto managed them well, the fields were useful for the daily life of Sarto, his wife and son Hasan.
"Subhan, have you ever been to a field like this when you were in your village?" asked Hasan curiously
"Hasan, when I was in my village, every day I was always in the field with my playmate, Sutikno" said Subhan while imagining his togetherness with Sutikno.
"Oh, Sutikno is the friend you used to tell my father?" hasan asked Subhan
"Yes, what's the situation right now?" I would love to meet Sutikno" Subhan said as he looked towards the river where he parted with Sutikno on the border of the dark passage connecting the village where Hasan lived and his village.
"Subhan, if you're curious, let's go find Sutikno" Hasan told Subhan
"I'm curious about the village where you live" Hasan said with a curious face to Subhan's words.
"Yes anyway, iftad Saleh will take me there later" We better wait for Ustad Saleh who said will accompany us to meet my grandmother" I'm afraid if going there alone, I'm afraid, because Ustad Saleh warned me to go with him" I've been arrested, I used to disobey Grandma's advice and just leave" Well now, what happened?" I lost Sutikno"
"I'm not going to repeat it, and I don't want to lose you" Subhan told Hasan.
Hasan nodded his head, and was glad to hear the words of Subhan.
"Oh, you've called me Subhan's brother" It's good then" Hasan told Subhan
"Subhan, let's go home" didn't you have an appointment with Ustad Saleh this afternoon?" hasan asked Subhan
"Oh yes, I forgot" Then let's go home" Subhan said as he prepared his hoe equipment.
Subhan and Hasan walk back to Sarto's house. To be close to home, Subhan passed by the riverbank where he had once been stranded there.
Every now and then, Subhan sees his twelve rafts getting worn out. Unwittingly by Subhan, there was a shadowy figure of red clothes on top of that raft.
"Well, who is he?" subhan asked as he continued to approach the shadow
"Heh, Subhan, where are you going?" ask Hasan curiously. Hasan saw Subhan heading towards the direction where his old raft was.
"Hasan, it looks like I saw Sutikno" Subhan said as he continued to head towards the raft
"Where?" I didn't see it" Hasan said, trying to see a raft that looked empty no one was on board
"Yes, really" I saw it" Subhan said as he continued to leave Hasan and headed up the raft.
Subhan immediately rode his raft back and circled on top of that raft. His hand seemed to reach for something invisible. Subhan's face was like a daze and Hasan began to notice her. Quickly, hasan pulled Subhan's hand and said
"Subhan, there's no one here" If you keep going behind the raft, you'll be thrown into the river" Let's go home" Hasan said, drawing Subhan's hand.
