SALOKA RESIDENCE
CHAPTRE 014

Han drags Wick's body back into the room, then drags the Autistic's body out of the room.

shurr!!!

Han sprayed the Autistic head with a bottle of mineral water.

“I told you, you have to watch her, right?” said Han flat.

The Autist woke up.

“Sorry..I'm sorry. It was my fault,” said the Autis nervously.

The Autis raised her right hand, then slapped her own cheek many times.

The Autist continued to do that many times, and alternated his hands and cheeks which he slapped hard.

“Gosh. Why are you fighting?” eli asked who came from his room.

“I'm sorry, Mom,” said little smiling Han to Eli.

“You made me blood up. The men gather and just fight or sit around. Repent all of you!”

Eli shouted, heading for the refrigerator to pick up something. Likewise with Han who just left Eli and the Autistic.

In front of the SALOKA RESIDENT boarding house, Jack who had just arrived and parked his motorbike in the front parking lot of the building.

Jack got off the bike, took off his helmet. For a moment he stood in front of the building and looked at the building.

“Padahan is only a day, but I am lazy to return to this place,” muttered Jack.

With a heavy heart, Jack continued to enter the boarding building.

On the 2nd floor, Jack meets Eli who is coming from the kitchen.

“Oi, Young man! Did you just get back from work?” greet Eli.

“Yes, there you have it,” replied Jack briefly and kept going.

“Have you eaten? If not, there are boiled eggs that have been cooked. I put it in the refrigerator.”

Eli smiled at Jack and offered him an egg.

“No, Mistress. Unnecessary. I've had a meal with my office partner.”

“Wait. Are you sure? I also cook instant noodles with half-cooked eggs. You want?” Eli pulled Jack's arm. Stop and continue to offer food.

“No, Mistress. Thanks though. I'm already so full. My stomach has also mules because it eats too much,” said Jack who was upset.

“Gosh. Stomach hurts? Do you want herbal medicine? I'm sure you'll be cured after drinking it. Come to my room.”

“No, Mistress. Unnecessary. I'll go into the room and just rest.”

Jack shook his head, then left Eli.

“Good. If you need my help, just say it. I'll help you anytime.”

“Yes, sure,” replied Jack while opening the room door.

“Gosh. Why does he have stomach pain? Poor thing,” said Eli left the hallway.

“Sial! Why does he keep offering me eggs?” muttered Jack.

In his room, Jack put the bag down, and laid himself on the bed. He was very tired after working from morning to evening.

“Gosh. It's very narrow here. I have no other activities at the moment, plus my laptop is still not finished, making me unable to write,” he said in his heart.

Jack checks his phone. Time showed at 8 p.m., and he had not heard from Jane, his girlfriend.

As he was about to get out of his bed, Jack's leg kicked a book under his bed.

The little notebook was white, with no name written on the paper.

Jack opened the sheets of the book one by one, looking at some signatures and disheveled writing.

“It appears, this notebook belongs to the occupants of this room before.”

In the middle of the book, Jack finds the words KILL ME, DIE, DIE, which fill one page, and the next few pages.

Jack again remembered Eli's words, that the previous occupant of the room committed suicide.

Jack throws the book back at the corner of the table and,

“Why do I think that's a no-no. I have to forget that. Maybe by drinking a bottle of beer will make me sleep faster.”

Jack stood up from the chair, then walked out of his room. Jack wants to go to the 24-hour TOSERBA that is near the cost, to buy a beer.

A car came past Jack who was walking towards TOSERBA. The car stopped in front of the car.

A man got out of the car and rushed up the stairs of the building. That man is John. He's a detective Wick's acquaintance.

He went to the boarding house where Wick was staying to check on Wick, who had just called him.

At the reception, she sees Eli from behind the glass of her own room.

*TOK TOK!!! John knocked on the glass.

“Gosh. Whoareyou? You surprised me,” said Eli who opened the glass window of his room and took his head out of there.

“Halo. I'm Inspector John.” John issued his identity card as a police officer. Show it to Eli.

“You're a cop?” eli was surprised.

“Omong by the way, do you know this guy? Does he really live in this place?”

John took out a picture of Wick. Show it to Eli.

“Gosh. Wait a minute.” Eli rushed out of his room and stood in front of John.

“Actually, I intend to report to the police, if he does not come home until tomorrow,” said Eli who knows and hides something from the detective. “The person. He ran away and has not paid the rent.”

“Lent rent?” ask John.

“He has not been in arrears about paying rent, then ran away today,” Eli explained nervously.

“So, does he really live here?”

“Yes. She stayed in room 305,” Eli replied. “Can I see his room?” ask John.

“Sure. Over here. Jeez I trusted him so much, but he tricked me and just ran away.”

Eli showed me the way to Wick's room. They both walked through the hallway. Towards Wick's room.

“I trusted him too much until I was fooled by him.”

“Wah. Why is it so dark in here? Are there no lights at all?” asked John who was walking around looking around the hallway.

“My business is bad. Why do I have to install bright lights in a corridor? I don't have enough money to do that,” explained Eli.

“This is it. This is where the room is.”

Eli opens the door to Wick's room with a spare key carried by him.

“Gosh. The thug drank too much. Look,” said Eli pointing to bottles and packs of ready-to-eat instant noodles strewn across Wick's room.

John gets inside Wick and starts looking for something he can use as a clue.
