Later that night, Jack and Mike meet at a bar and cafe that provides snacks and some heavy meals.
Mike is an old friend of Jack's from his hometown. Although age-wise, Mike is older, but they can still make good friends.
Mike had been traveling to New York for a long time, and then asked Jack to meet, when he heard that Jack was also in the city.
The two of them began to exchange stories and thoughts in the cafe. Every now and then with a beer and alcohol that Mike had ordered, before.
“Gosh. Just so you know Jack, right now I'm in trouble too. I do business with difficulty. I've realized, that business is not always running smoothly,” said Mike.
“All those businesses need debt, Jack. There is no big business that does not require debt.”
“As Robert Kiyosaki once said. ‘Utang is Money, if you use that debt well’.”
“Omong by the way, welcome to New York. I'm so happy to see you again.”
Mike pours alcohol in his glass and Jack's glass, then they toast.
“Thanks, Mike.”
“Gosh. You don't have to thank me. Drink that. The custom here is, sip, you have to drink until drunk. Hahahahaha.”
They both drank beer with alcohol together.
“Wahh. Are you still writing, Jack?” ask Mike.
“Sure, Mike. I still write to this day. That's all I use to earn money.”
“Gosh. Turns out you haven't given up. So, what's this time about? What genre are you writing? Roman's? The stunt? Or what?”
“This time I intend to write about criminals, or all things related to criminal crimes,” replied Jack confidently.
“Oh yes? All right, then. Why don't you try something else, Jack? You're pretty handsome in my opinion, but why is that all you have in mind?”
“You should try something else while here. There are many other things you can do. You can even try being an actor, because you have a handsome face. Hahahaha.”

Jack continued to listen and nod, occasionally drinking beer and enjoying the snacks on the table.

Jack poured the alcohol from the bottle, then straightened it up.
“That's too expensive for me, Mike. I can't stay there.”

Mike offers Jack a job to work in his office. As the CEO of the company, Mike certainly could not bear to see his own friend who was in trouble.

Jack immediately frowned when he heard what Mike said to him.
Jack is a very sensitive man. Although Mike is only joking, but Jack will put his words into the heart.

Mike looked at Jack who suddenly frowned.

Mike laughed out loud. Tease Jack who still looks very upset at him.
An hour passed, the two of them chatted together and finished off some of the remaining alcoholic drinks.
“Do you have a match?” ask Mike. “No, Mike. I quit a year ago.”
“Wahh. You're terrific. Listen to me, Jack. You have to work hard, so you can make a lot of money. I'm sure you'll succeed if you persevere.”
“In this city, there are so many young people your age who are unemployed. They have no job and end up committing criminal acts.”
“Although many high-quality young men asked me for a job, but I still chose you,” said Mike boasted.
“Good. Thank you so much for that, Mike.”
Jack was actually really upset that Mike kept bragging about him, but he didn't show it to Mike. Jack just held it in his heart.
“You have to work hard, Jack. I like you a lot. I will also praise you in front of other employees, when you're there later, so, you can't let me down.”
“Alright, Mike. I'll work hard.”
Jack nodded his head at Mike.
