SALOKA RESIDENCE
CHAPTRE 007

“Sial!! Why does he always boast about himself. It sucks,” murmured Jack in the heart.

The exact time shows at 9 p.m. All food and drinks ordered are gone.

“What you add again, Jack. I'll order again for round two.”

As Mike stood up, Jack held his hand.

“Not necessary, Mike. It's already night. I'll go home and just rest. Thanks for everything, Mike. See you tomorrow.”

Jack stood up and left the bar.

“What the fuck? I've taken my time for you. You can't just leave.”

Mike stands up and catches up with Jack, who is out of the bar.

“Hei! Stop, Jack! I-i understand. Stop first. Come here!”

Mike yelled at Jack who kept walking away from the bar.

Finally, Jack stopped and again walked up to Mike in front of the bar.

A taxi passed in front of the two of them.

“Taxi!!” Mike stopped the taxi. He took out his wallet and took out a few pieces of dollar bills. Give it to Jack, as a taxi fare.

“It. Take away. You can use it for taxi fare. You can take the change to eat and more.”

“Not necessary, Mike. I will go home by bus,” said Jack who refused.

“Sial! You can't refuse, Jack. Just go up!”

Mike pulls Jack's hand, forcing him into a taxi.

Jack finally came home in a taxi.

“Bye to you, Jack.”

Mike waved his hand from the closed window of the taxi.

***

The SALOKA RESIDENT. Jack had reached his boarding house and walked up the stairs to the room.

As he remained silent in the hallway, Jack simply stared at the hallway blankly, right next to Eli's room.

“What are you doing?”

A man appears from behind Jack and asks him. The man wore a neat shirt and carried a backpack on his shoulders. His name is Han.

Han has a body that is quite sturdy, tall, and has a handsome face. Just like Jack. She looked to be in her early 30s with a middle-cut hairstyle.

Han saw Jack standing up and greeting him, when he had just arrived at the boarding house.

The surprised Jack immediately faced Han, who started walking towards him.

“What are you doing? Do you feel anything?” Han stepped closer to Jack and looked at him with a very suspicious blank look.

“What do you mean?” ask Jack who doesn't understand what Han means.

“I saw you standing in this place, you look like someone who can't get out of the darkness and the vicious circle.”

“No. Are you a psychic? Hhh. I can get out of here easily,” argued Jack. “Setan? Haha. Are you kidding me? I don't even believe in demons at all.”

Jack walked away from Han.

“Hhh. Looks like you're more attractive than you look.”

Every now and then Jack looked over, then simply ignored Han's words.

“Sial! Why her? Is he challenging me? Gosh darn. This cost is filled with strange people,” muttered Jack inwardly.

Inside his room, Jack immediately took off his shoes and prepared to take a shower and change his clothes.

*TAK!!!

Jack looked up, looked up for a moment, then ignored him and rushed off to the bathroom.

Half an hour passed, and Jack was done bathing and changing his clothes.

That night he was clean and fragrant, and prepared to rest. Several times he tried to rest, but still. Jack couldn't sleep well.

Finally, he used the opportunity to create a skeleton that would be written into his novel.

With a pen and a notebook, Jack began to make a skeleton.

An hour, two hours, Jack continued to dissolve in his busyness. His eyes focused on the paper, his hands moving beautifully, writing and composing sentences as best he could.

At exactly 12 p.m., Jack's skeleton was made. He raised both hands, moved them, clenched, then, rang his fingers one by one.

He stored the skeleton in the notebook, then, made it later to write a novel if the laptop has returned.

Jack got up from the chair, then laid his body on the bed.

It was a long day for Jack. Since his arrival in New York, he has not rested at all.

Coupled with the atmosphere of the boarding house like a haunted house, it makes him not feel comfortable at all.

Many times Jack changed his sleeping position, tilted to the left, to the right, on his stomach, supine. He still feels uncomfortable with it all.

His eyes were sluggish, his body was very tired, but, he was unable to fall asleep just like that. For him the room he occupied at that time was not worthy enough to be occupied.

Jack remembered there was a TOSERBA for twenty-four hours, right near his boarding house. Take the jacket, then go to the TOSERBA.

Arriving at TOCERBA, Jack bought a bottle of vodka and other packaged foods, then enjoyed it on the front porch of the store.

Perhaps by drinking alcohol, will make it more quickly drowsy and sleep.

“Total 20 dollars, son,” said a father-father waiting cashier.

Jack reached into the pocket, took the wallet, and gave a 50-dollar bill.

“It seems, you're a newcomer,”

Jack smiled, nodding.

“If I may know, where are you from, son?”

“Chicago.”

“Chicago? Oh, my God, it's pretty far away. So why did you come to this town? Are you in college?”

“No, Uncle. I only came here because I wanted to find a new atmosphere. And one of my friends who was in the village, also gave me a job in this city.”

“Ah, so it seems. God, I thought you were in college. Your face even looks like an 18-year-old.”

“Lantas, how about yourself, Uncle? Are you the owner of this TOCERBA?”

“Yes, I am the owner of this TOCERBA, and I am also the one guarding it, and taking turns keeping it with my wife and one of the employees I have.”

“Wah, isn't that really tiring, Uncle? You and your wife should take turns guarding the cashier. Wouldn't it be better for Uncle to look for additional employees?”

The owner of TOSERBA shook his head. “No, Son. I prefer to keep my own shop, and the employees I work with are also my own niece.”

“I have a very big trauma. In the past, I had employees I trusted a lot, but, instead, he ran away and brought all the money in the cashier.”

“Every day I come to the police station to report, but still, the police always give the same reason.”

The owner of the shop was saddened by the story.

“Gosh, I'm sorry, son. I even told you and forgot to give you change.” Dad, open the cashier drawer, and give me the change.

“No problem, Uncle.” Jack smiled and accepted the change. “Then, I'll excuse you.”

“Good, Nak.”

Jack walked out of the store and enjoyed a bottle of vodka on the front porch.
