Azam was watching television alone because he was waiting for Vanessa to finish dressing up which took quite a long time like women in general.
Then after half an hour, Vanessa's bedroom door opened. Vanessa came out in a long, light brown dress with short sleeves.
"Azam, I'm sorry for your long wait." Vanessa said apologetically because she thought she had taken too long to get dressed.
"I don't mind waiting for a beautiful woman." Azam smiled and decided to tease Vanessa a little.
Vanessa's face turned red, and said, "Don't use that word! Let's go!"
Vanessa pulls Azam's hand, they get out immediately after putting on the shoes. As before, Azam was driving Vanessa's Ferrari which looked very striking.
The racetrack that Vanessa chose was the Jakarta International Equestrian Park in East Jakarta, which takes half an hour to get there from South Jakarta.
But for Ferrari cars whose speed can not be compared with ordinary cars, can reach Jakarta International Equestrian Park in just 20 minutes.
Moreover, Azam has the expertise of driving a car that is equivalent to a god. So the Ferrari car is like a fish swimming in water, very smooth and smooth.
Although they are actually lucky because the road is not jammed. If there is a traffic jam, then they need about 1 hour to get to Jakarta International Equestrian Park.
Azam had seen horse racing on television, but not yet in person. And he was also surprised by the building in front of him that had a very attractive design.
"We're here!" Vanessa looked excited after she entered the building.
"It's quite interesting" Azam said as he looked around who had a very stunning design.
"Interesting right!? Let's go around for a minute." Vanessa pulls Azam's hand again and takes him around the building looking around.
"Vanessa, what's in there?" Azam pointed in a direction and asked Vanessa curiously.
Vanessa followed the direction that Azam had pointed. He nodded and said, "That's a riding school. Not a school anyway, rather a place to teach and train about riding."
The place Azam pointed to was an area where there were many young people wearing riding suits and next to them was a horse standing upright.
It turned out that it was an area where beginners or experts were given teaching and training about riding and usually the ones who followed it were children from wealthy families.
"Azam, the race is about to start, let's find a seat." Vanessa said then she was looking for a strategic seat.
"Just be there." Now it was Azam's turn to draw Vanessa's hand and go to the seat in the middle to see the whole scene.
After a few minutes, all the horsemen were ready at their respective places. Then, an air gun was fired and the start gate was opened.
The spectators immediately shouted and cheered loudly. They support the participants they like, there are even some people who are up to betting on who will be the winner.
"Vanessa, are you enjoying this?" azam asked, because their goal here was for Vanessa to get another new idea for her novel.
"Honestly, less. The race was good, but I think there's something missing." Vanessa sighed and shook her head.
"Wait a minute, maybe you'll be satisfied." Azam tries to comfort Vanessa.
"All right." Vanessa nodded and continued to watch, trying to see if there was anything that could catch her attention.
The horse race had already taken place halfway, but at this moment, the participant wearing a light blue cloth on his right arm fell down which made him overtaken by the green cloth participant.
But Azam did not think so, he who was already on par with veteran observers had very sharp and accurate eyesight. For a glance, Azam could see that there was something strange.
"The green-clad team is fast, he's already in second place." Vanessa said in a surprised voice as she looked at the green-clad participants.
Thanks to the words of Vanessa, Azam's head became enlightened. So he immediately turned his head towards the green-clad participant who was now in fourth position.
After a moment of focus, Azam noticed that something was reflecting sunlight in the shoes of the green-clad participants. Azam thought for a moment, then he knew that it was a thorn.
"Vanessa, usually if a horseman wears a thorn, what is it for?" azam asked Vanessa curiously.
"Ah that? Usually let the horse go faster. You know if we're in a hurry, everything can be done quickly" Vanessa replied to Azam's question.
Azam nodded his head, then he narrowed his eyes as the green-clad participant cheated by hurting the horse with a thorn in his shoe so that his horse could run faster.
Azam has decided to report this to the referee later because now he has no evidence. He just needs to wait until the race is over and report directly to the referee.
"Azam, is something wrong?" Vanessa asks Azam for seeing him squint in seriousness.
"Vanessa, you might get a good idea after this." Azam said with a big smile.
"A good idea? What's wrong?" Vanessa tilted her head because she did not understand Azam's words.
"You just wait a minute, I guarantee you." Azam smiled and did not say it further.
"All right." Vanessa puffed her cheeks cutely because Azam said nothing to her.
"Fog." It was Azam's thought when he saw Vanessa puffing her cheeks like a hamster eating.
A few minutes later, the horse race was finally over. As Azam had expected, the green-clad participants became the winners.
Meanwhile, the light blue-clad participant was taken to the medical room on a stretcher and his horse was also immediately taken to the cage for examination.
The audience cheered and applauded loudly without knowing that the green-clad participants had cheated.
"Vanessa, wait here for a minute." Azam said to Vanessa, he stood up and immediately headed towards a man who was the referee.
Vanessa nodded and waited enthusiastically for what Azam would do because he said it would get him a new idea.
"The referee." Azam said to the referee.
"Yes? Who're you?" The referee frowned because he did not know Azam who approached him suddenly.
"The green-clad party cheated, he-" Azam could not finish his speech due to being interrupted by the referee.
"Ck, you're just a bully, get out of here!" The referee said with annoyance because he thought Azam was just a bully.
"Sir, please check the shoes of the participants in green. Even if it's wrong, nothing will happen." Azam said to the referee while shrugging his shoulders.
The referee thought about it for a few seconds. He thought Azam's words had a point. If green-clad participants cheat, horse races will be more crowded. If it is wrong, nothing will happen.
So, the referee immediately asked some people to check the shoes worn by the green-clad participants. And the referee became increasingly convinced that Azam was not lying when he saw the panicked expression on the face of the green-clad participant.
Then, he immediately announced that green-clad participants were cheating and were not allowed to participate in horse races at the Jakarta International Equestrian Park for one month.
