Return to Apartment and Adeng Call (Revised)

Red Ferrari speeding on the streets with the sound of exhaust that has a loud sound. People who saw it immediately picked up their phones to record it.

As soon as they reached the apartment complex, Azam parked the Ferrari in Vanessa's parking lot. Then the two of them went upstairs and entered the apartment.

After going inside, Vanessa immediately lay down on a long sofa. He took a deep breath and thought that the matter was finally resolved.

"I was so nervous earlier," Vanessa said in a weak tone.

"That's natural. Moreover, there are robbers who use firearms." Azam said, he went to the kitchen to make warm tea for Vanessa and himself.

"Azam, why can you stay calm? Although there are lives threatened, but not everyone can act." Vanessa asked curiously.

It is true, maybe when someone sees the life of another person being threatened before their eyes, the mind of that person will think to save the life that is being threatened.

But often the body cannot follow the mind. The body has been controlled by a thing called fear that makes it unable to be moved.

So when there are people who can act calmly and appropriately in life-threatening situations, they are great people.

"Why yes, I don't know why. But, it might have something to do with my slightly strong mentality, haha." Azam laughed because he also did not know the reason.

Perhaps he knew, the reason was because of his strong mentality of having already experienced another life. But obviously, he couldn't tell that to Vanessa.

Vanessa will assume he was hallucinating due to the bank robbery. So Azam laughed and said that he did not know the reason.

"Here, drink first." Azam gave Vanessa a cup of tea and told her to drink.

"Ah, thank you." Vanessa blew on the still hot tea and sipped it slowly. He felt calm as the hot tea went into his stomach.

"It just so happens to be noon, but we'll just order some food, okay?" azam told Vanessa while looking at her phone.

"Yes!" Vanessa nodded. He also knew that Azam was still tired of the incident, so he agreed to order food online only.

Half an hour later, Vanessa was called by the apartment security when the food truck arrived and put her food in the security room.

Vanessa immediately conveyed the message the security guard had told Azam. Azam nodded and immediately went to the security guard room to fetch some food.

Vanessa lives in a luxurious apartment complex and of course her guard is very strict. No one can get into an apartment without a key card.

If there is a guest, then that guest will have to wait on the first floor which is the waiting area to wait for their friend to come there.

Even the food taxi must also leave food orders for the apartment owner in the security guard room and later the person who ordered it will take it in the security guard room.

"Mas Azam huh? Mba Vanessa told me," said the security guard as he ordered Azam's food from the shelf there.

"Yes, Sir. Thank you, sir." Azam took his food and thanked the security guard with a smile.

"Together with me." The security guard also smiled and nodded.

After that Azam immediately returned to the apartment, then he and Vanessa ate together while watching television and coincidentally the first television channel was news about the bank robbery.

"Azam, you're on the news!" Vanessa said as she pointed towards the television that was displaying an interview with Azam.

"Hahaha, I'll be famous!" yelled Azam jokingly.

"Be careful, you'll be targeted by other robbers." Vanessa smiled and said in a jest as well.

"Don't worry, I'm strong. You also know that I can defeat the three robbers." Azam said with a proud tone to Vanessa.

Vanessa laughs a little, she really likes Azam's nature who likes to joke because it can make the atmosphere more comfortable and she can also talk freely.

Even if his stomach is hungry, he just turns on his phone and orders fast food from restaurants or food stalls.

"Well, I believe you." Vanessa smiled brightly in response to Azam's words.

At the moment the two of them spoke cheerfully, Azam's phone rang. He picked it up and saw that it was Adeng, the head of his orphanage.

"Hello Grandpa, is there something?" asked Azam in a cheerful voice.

"Azam, can you go to the orphanage now? There are things that Grandpa doesn't know" Adeng told Azam.

Azam frowned because he heard something wrong with Adeng's voice. But he did not ask because surely Adeng would say everything when he arrived at the orphanage.

"Okay, I'm going there now, Cake." Azam nodded, then hung up the phone. He picked up his jacket and prepared to go out.

"Azam, something happened?" vanessa asked in a worried voice as she saw the serious look on Azam's face.

"Some, but I think there's something in my orphanage, I'm going there first." Azam shook his head and said to Vanessa.

"Then use my car." Vanessa throws her Ferrari key at Azam and is captured easily by Azam.

"Okay, I borrow it first." Azam did not refuse because he did not have a vehicle to go to the orphanage. Then after thanking Vanessa, out.

Vanessa did not come along because she was still recovering from the incident, and she also felt that it would be impolite for people who had nothing to do with the orphanage to interfere in their matters.

So Vanessa would just wait for Azam to take her to the orphanage. He also hoped that the problems that occurred in the orphanage were not something big.

Meanwhile, Azam drove swiftly to the orphanage. The distance is quite far because it is located on the outskirts of South Jakarta and borders East Jakarta.

Then after arriving there, Azam saw that there were no guards who usually sat in the guard room. Azam increasingly felt that something was wrong, so he hurriedly entered.

"Azam!" Azam's name was called by a grizzled old man who wore box glasses at the base of his nose.

He is Adeng Hermawan who is the head of the orphanage and Azam's grandfather who has taken care of him and other orphanage children.

"Grandfather Adeng!" Azam nodded his head, then he made a difference what was going on.

"Dinda's sick. He said the pain was in his back, pelvis, and legs. Grandpa didn't know what was going on, so Grandpa called out to you," Adeng told Azam.

Dinda said by Adeng is a 4-year-old girl. She came to the orphanage when Azam was 15, and Dinda was still a baby.

"Dinda's sick? Okay, let's go to his room, cake." Azam nodded and immediately went to the female area orphanage room along with Adeng.

Because the orphanage there are two areas, namely the male and female areas. And when Azam arrived, he saw that there were many children at the door of Dinda's room.

"Sir Azam!!" One of the children shouted and the other immediately turned his head. They surrounded Azam while shouting that Dinda was sick.

Azam is a teenager who is admired by other children because he can lead them very well. So it can be said that Azam is the boss of the orphanage for children.

"You all pull over for a while huh, Big Brother will check on Dinda's condition first," Azam said in a soft voice.

"Good!" The children nodded, they pulled over and made no more noise after hearing Azam's words.

Behind Azam, Adeng smiled helplessly as the children obeyed Azam's words unconditionally. Though usually they are a little wayward if he gives the order.

"Well, Azam is great" Adeng thought.
