The time of the start of the charity meeting is near, now there are many people sitting in their respective seats because each seat has been named.
The reason is so that high status people or veteran entrepreneurs can sit in the front row while ordinary people or small entrepreneurs sit in the back row.
This is also to make it easy to distinguish one's status, and to respect people who have unusual identities. Indeed, there are many events that use a seating system like this.
Azam and Vanessa are backstage as they are being called by Aaron. They talked to Aaron for a while, then sat down on the chair that had been provided.
"By the way, are there any rules at this charity meeting?" Azam asked Vanessa who was sitting next to him.
Vanessa shook her head and said, "There are no special rules. But if you want to donate, the money must already be there. Don't say don't donate but don't have any money."
The rule was made so that no one would donate arbitrarily just to attract the attention of the general public which would damage and tarnish the good name of the charity meeting.
Not only if at a charity meeting there is someone who decides to donate to many places in need, but when charged, he does not have the money.
It would be a very bad joke and people would no longer trust the businessmen who donated to charity meetings.
"Well, that's for sure, haha." Azam laughed a little because he imagined that there were people who donated but did not have the money.
The two of them chatted for a while, then at this moment there was the sound of a bell on the mall speaker indicating that the charity meeting was about to begin.
So Azam and Vanessa stopped talking, then they moved seats to the side of the stage along with Aaron and the guy from Super Mall Dirta.
The lights around the stage became dim, then the area in the middle of the stage was highlighted because there was a woman wearing a professional suit while holding a mic in her hand.
"Hello, good evening and welcome, veteran businessmen and distinguished important people! We are very proud and honored for your presence at this special event."
"Your presence here is an inspiration to all of us, and we greatly appreciate the valuable contributions you have made in the worlds of business, health, technology, and more."
"Thank you for your dedication and experience that has shaped the future of our country, the State of Indonesia. May this event be a precious moment for all of us."
Applause echoed not only in the stage area but throughout the mall which was looking at the charity meeting and hearing a nice and festive welcome from the host.
As the applause stopped, the host said, "Before we start the show, let's let Mr. Aaron take the stage to give us a few words."
Aaron nodded his head, he tidied up his suit, then he went up on stage. The lights also immediately highlighted the walking Aaron.
Aaron raised the mic in his hand and said, "Thank you everyone. I held a charity meeting because it saw a lot of under-wearing situations around us."
Aaron spoke briefly, then he bowed his body slightly and got off the stage. After that the host immediately started a charity meeting.
First, the event starts by showing a video containing the condition of underprivileged people or people who are in need of help that they can not solve on their own.
After the video is finished, the host immediately invites the audience to donate as they wish to the person who needs the first, namely children from underprivileged families.
Many attendees immediately raised their hands and said the amount of money they decided to donate to orphans.
Meanwhile, many spectators were clapping whether it was looking on the spot or looking at the live broadcast that had been lit from earlier.
-- {This is the entrepreneur we need. They gladly donated some of their possessions to people in need.}
--- {I also want to help actually, but it's a pity that I don't have any idle money. I can only help verbally.}
After an hour of her show, it was now the turn of the Sun Orphanage. Azam immediately went up on stage while carrying a mic, then he started talking.
"Good night, great people. I was one of the children from the Sun Orphanage. The situation of the orphanage is now quite concerning because of the damaged building."
"The Sun Orphanage housed quite a number of orphaned children, but the buildings were insufficient and many were damaged."
"We were able to survive because of the money sent by the orphanage children who were already working. But it's just enough for daily necessities, no, sometimes even less."
"So here I ask you sincerely to extend your hand to the Sun Orphanage who is in a bad condition."
Azam bowed his body sincerely after saying that because for him, the Sun Orphanage was everything because it was the place he grew up in and many memories happened there.
Azam's explanation left the people who heard him touched because it concerned the orphanage and the orphans there.
But at this moment, the host said, "Please get up, Azam. There's someone there who wants to ask you."
Azam woke up after hearing the words of the host, then he saw there was an elderly woman who had manicured skin on the front seat who raised her right hand.
"Your name is Azam? I'll donate to the Sun Orphanage. But before that, I'd like to ask. What's your goal after getting help to build an orphanage?" The woman asked Azam.
Azam took a deep breath and said seriously. "I will make the orphanage children happy. We used to be happy because of togetherness. But now I'm going to add to that happiness by adding to the facilities."
"Adding facilities? Do you want to ask for donations again?" ask the woman with interest.
"Of course not, I'd be ashamed to do that. For the preparation of adding facilities will use my own money," Azam said with a confident smile.
"Ho? You seem very confident. All right, I'll donate to the Sun Orphanage for 200 million, on one condition." The woman smiled.
"Please say." Although Azam was happy with the large amount of donation money, but he was more curious about the conditions to be given.
"Hahaha, you'll see me." The woman laughed, then she said to Azam.
