13. The Twin's Custody
Max gives orders to Tom to find out about Jena and Juno, the twins he just met. After a while, Tom gave the information they had managed to find.
"Boss, full names Jena and Juno are Jena Evans Aquela and Juno Evans Aquela. They were twins who had just moved to this city with their mother, Silkanah Aquela. They've just returned to this country and live in an apartment on the outskirts of town."
Max felt his heartbeat thump as he mentioned the mother's names of Jena and Juno. Silkanah Aquela. A sense of surprise and confusion filled his mind. Evans is the name he named Jodi Evans. He pondered for a moment, turned back the memory and tried to connect the clues he had obtained.
The faces of Jena and Juno were similar to her, the resemblance of her eyes, and now their mother's name was so familiar. It all led to one night - one night they spent months on until he finally decided to leave. Unmistakably, Jena and Juno are her own children.
In an instant, a million feelings struck Max. Surprise, happiness, worry, and longing merge into one. He felt like the world around him was spinning around, not believing the truth that had just been revealed.
With a pounding heart, Max immediately gave orders to his confidants. "Tom, I need your help. They are Jena and Juno, fruits of my love for their mother, Silka."
Tom who had first learned the news was silent for a moment. He knew how much this discovery meant to Max. "Boss, I don't know what to say. This is incredible news. Patience, Boss. If you rush like this, everything can get messy. Didn't you throw them away yourself?"
Max was again shaken by confusion and doubt. How could he pursue his children who had been deliberately discarded? In fact, he felt he was no longer willing to find out the news about Silka after deciding to divorce.
Full of overflowing emotions, Max walked out of his room and towards the living room. There, he finds a family photo album hidden in a drawer. Shaking, he opened the album.
The pages of the album reveal a past life she never knew. Max's happy photos as Jodi, and Silka. As it turned out, the little ones he now knew as Jena and Juno were already quite big and very smart.
"Can I trust Silka again after the betrayal she committed against me, even though she betrayed a Jodi, my own shadow. It felt really heartbreaking, when b3rc1nta with him he always called the name Jodi. I am Max, her husband. The man who has full rights over himself."
Max again felt an overwhelming hatred for Silka. He's back on his phone, calling Tom, again.
"No need to find information about them! This time your job is to bring Jena and Juno to me. I'll take custody of both of them" Max said.
Max feels that he has to fight for custody of Jena and Juno. In her heart, she wanted to make sure that her children grew up in a healthy environment and felt loved by both parents.
Max decides to contact an experienced family lawyer, Mr. Johnson, for legal advice and guidance in his cause.
Max called the family lawyer, Mr. Johnson
Max while pressing the phone. "Hello, Mr. Johnson's? It's Max. I need your help in my fight for custody of Jena and Juno."
"I need to understand the legal process involved and how I can obtain child custody from my ex-wife Silka. I want to give the best for my children" Max told the network.
"I'll help you in this. Let's arrange a meeting to discuss further. I'll help you strategize strongly" said Mr. Johnson's back.
After consulting with a lawyer, Max devised a plan. He decided to file a court case to get custody of his son from Silka.
Silka got a subpoena, feeling very shocked. Why did Max demand custody of his children? Though, to him it is clear that Jena and Juno are children with Jodi. However, Silka who felt she had more power, fearlessly fulfilled the subpoena of custody of her children.
The legal process begins, and Max is committed to carrying it out with integrity and honesty.
Max and Silka meet on the veranda of the courthouse. Silka who did not receive custody of the children was taken by the man.
"What are you doing, Max? Why would you do that to me? You have no rights over my children. They're not your kids!" Silka pulled the tie that had been neatly attached to the shirt she was wearing with no fear at all.
Max looked at Silka with his sharp eyes. "Oh, your son with your affair?" said cold.
Silka was shaken by Max's cold gaze. It is still clear that Max is a scary mobster and all the things he could do to him. Max pulls Silka's wrist. He took his ex-wife into the toilet.
Silka became nervous ashen. "W-what are you gonna do to me, Max?"
"You don't even know your husband inside out." Max loosened the tie Silka had pulled and removed the hem button attached to the collar.
Silka was terrified beyond measure, trying to unlock the narrow toilet. Back Max pulls Silka's hand and clamps Silka's chin.
"Where are you going? I want to give you a surprise that will make you die standing." Max takes out a razor that he intentionally brought along just to prepare for this surprise.
"Are you crazy? What do you want with that shaver?" Silka felt very surprised by Max's actions that were beyond reason.
Max began shaving a thick beard filling his chin down to his ears. Silka's eyes widened after the feathers of her face had been wiped out.
His eyes were staring at the man shaking in disbelief.
