Secret Wife MAFIA

Secret Wife MAFIA
5. The Battle of the Two Clans

Max goes to his room and opens a secret drawer under the table. He took out the weapons and various equipment necessary for the upcoming battle. In her heart, she vows to protect her territory, defeat her enemies, and give Silka a safe and free life.

With steady steps, Max left his room towards his base. He knew that a battle was coming, and he was ready to face it with the strength and strategy he had. The desire to protect Silka and her clan became a burning fire within her.

Incidentally, Silka realized something strange was going on. He peeked at the man who forced him to marry, walking hastily in a long black robe, with gloves attached to his hands. The girl, immediately pulled the black hodie not far from where she was peeking. He decided to follow them.

Silka continued down the dark and narrow streets, keeping her distance from Max and the rest of the members, moving cautiously. He tried to remember every detail he saw and heard, trying to digest the situation well.

"What are they planning? Why do these nights come out secretly? I have to find out what they're gonna do."

Once in a while, he had to jump behind a wall or sneak behind parked vehicles when they paused. He tried to make sure that his steps were not heard and his shadow was not visible to them.

Slowly but surely, they arrived at an old building located on the outskirts of the city. Silka hid herself behind a broken lamp post, watching Max and his mafia members enter the building vigilantly.

Silka thought to herself, "What are they looking for here? Was there a secret meeting or something related to the border region they were talking about earlier? I have to go in and find out more."

Carefully, Silka moved closer to the entrance of the building. He was looking for loopholes or opportunities to enter undetected. After a while, he found a window that opened slightly beside the door. Without hesitation, he slid in through the crack.

Silka continued to watch from behind the thick curtains in the room, seeing Max and his enemies facing each other in a tense situation.

Silka thought to herself, "Who else are they? What fight will happen? I need to stay hidden and see if I can find any clues or evidence that could help uncover their plans."

He overheard conversations revolving around drug trafficking, extortion, and increasingly heated territorial conflicts. Silka realizes how far Max has fallen in this dark world, and she feels increasingly convinced to walk away from the man.

"By daring you to breach our borders!" Max exclaimed in a loud voice, his expression full of anger. "The power of the Maxim Clan won't be taken for granted!"

His opponent smiled sinisterly, his gaze filled with contempt. "You're too arrogant, Max. This territory is not all yours. We have a right to protect what we have in this region."

Max stomped his hands on the table, making a crackling sound that rattled the room. "All of you are nothing more than rats hiding in our shadows! We set the rules here!"

The leader of the opposing clan smiled coldly. "Don't think you can conquer us by sheer violence. We're ready to fight, Max. We're not backing down!"

Silka's eyes saw a flash of anger in Max's eyes, she could feel a wave of anger emanating from her. "You will regret having undermined our power. We'll exterminate you, one by one!"

His opponent smiled arrogantly. "Do your best, Max. We're not just gonna give up. Your power will be destroyed before us."

Max pulled out the weapon directly facing his interlocutor earlier. "Well, it seems you'd rather shorten your life in this world."

The atmosphere in the room grew tense with every word Max said. Silka could feel her breath hunting and her heart pounding.

Max looked at his opponent with a stern look. "You will never understand the price to pay against us. We have built this power with blood, sweat and tears. We won't let you take it for granted." Max begins to pull the trigger on the right weapon unsheathing the face of the leader of the opponent.

The opposing clan leader shook his head smiling sinisterly. "You're overconfident, Max. Power could be lost in an instant, like ash blown by the wind. You'll see it with your own eyes." The opponent also pulled out a weapon that was in the pocket of his robe to challenge Max's weapon that was right facing his face.

"At the very least, we can tell who is more among this clan of ours."

Max smiled coldly looking at his opponent sharply. "We are predators, and you are just prey waiting to be eaten. We will destroy you and make this territory ours."

Max did not waste any more time directly pulling the trigger until the sound of a shrill that broke the atmosphere. The smell of ozone was smelled with thick deliver bullets that shot quickly leaving the nest.

However, his interlocutor had managed to avoid dropping to the floor followed by other members.

His opponent laughed loudly, his voice echoing throughout the room. "Is that all you're capable of, Max? Make no mistake that everyone will easily seize your power!"

The interlocutor immediately pulled the trigger of the weapon in his hand. Back to sound a different shrill this time than before.

"Aaaagghhhh!!!" I heard a heart-wrenching moan.

The atmosphere in the room was so overwhelming. The battle between the two camps made the air feel so heavy, and Silka felt herself drowning in uncontrollable fear. His heart was racing, and his breathing was panting as he tried to hide his panic.

The increasingly heated battle made Silka feel sandwiched between two opposing forces. The sound of guns telling each other made Silka close her ears. This was the first time he had witnessed firsthand the real battle shaking up the last remaining bravery within him.

Silka realized how dangerous this situation was. Max, a ruthless mobster, and his equally ruthless opponent, face each other with deep grudges. They did not hesitate to sacrifice their lives for control of territory and power. Amidst the frenzy of the battle, Silka decided to leave.

'It seems, I wouldn't be able to live for long if I kept in Max's shadow.'

Silka left the battle and went as far as she could.
