Max was quite surprised by the question that was so frontally thrown from his son's mouth. However, after that he chuckled and rubbed Juno's head.
"Looks like Daddy's nature dropped a hundred percent on you, you're really Daddy's son." Max tries to hug Juno, but the boy refuses a hug from her.
"D-Daddy, I'm still confused. I'm afraid Daddy's gonna make Mommy hurt again. I want Mommy to be happy" Juno said in a small voice, her face looking doubtful.
Max felt his heart full at the honest words of his son. He wants to convince Juno that he will try to be a better father. Only, his heart was completely closed to Silka. There was no longer a gap for him to love a woman, who never loved him.
"Juno, Daddy can't tell Daddy how Mommy is. However, you should know that Daddy will always be there for both of you. Not only that, Daddy promised not to bother Mommy again. Daddy wants to see you happy, just like a father's attitude should be."
Juno looked at Max with a look for truth. He's trying to understand what his Daddy said. After a moment of thought, he finally nodded his head carefully.
"Alright, Daddy. I gave Daddy a chance to prove that Daddy could be a good father to us. But, Daddy has to promise, so as not to make Mommy cry anymore," Juno said with a slowly improving expression.
Max smiled and promised his children. "Thank you, Juno. You've given Daddy a chance." Max understands that building trust won't be easy, but it's an important first step.
"Daddy will work hard to earn your trust. Daddy promised to always be there for you and take good care of our family" Max said in a hopeful voice.
Jena, who had been silent about the conversation between Daddy and Juno, finally spoke up. He wants to convey his feelings too.
"Daddy, Jena... Jena wants Mommy to be happy. But, Jena was still saddened by what happened. Jena wants Daddy to stay with us" Jena said sincerely.
Max realizes that Jena also loves her mother very much, but also misses her who is their father. He feels a responsibility to repair the relationship with his daughter.
"Of course, hon. Daddy understands how you feel. Daddy will try to talk to Mommy so the three of you can stay with Daddy" Max said attentively.
Jena nodded, indicating that she accepted his Daddy words. The two children still had doubts and a sense of loneliness without the presence of a father. But they gave Max a chance to correct his mistake and they both looked at each other.
'We will reunite you, ' their minds in unison.
Silka, who had been observing him from afar, approached them with mixed feelings. She still feels the hurt from Max's behavior, but seeing the effort she put in to reclaim their children's love, she feels a little relieved.
"Jena, Juno, Mommy also wants you to know that Mommy loves you with all her heart. We all need time to repair this relationship. But let's try to listen to each other, understand, and rebuild each other's trust" Silka said in a soft voice.
"Max, I thought you'd really take them away from me. But thank goodness you didn't do it." Jeni again held the hands of her two children.
"Can you give one of them to me as well?" max pinta.
"Where are you taking my son?" ask Silka cynically.
"He's Jodi's son! Not Max's son! You have a different person!"
"It's Silka! I'm tired of arguing with you about this. I just want to get closer to my kids! At least give me a better chance!"
Silka put on her flat face. "Yes, it's up to them." Silka alternately looked at Jena and Juno. "Hayo, who wants to come with him?" silka asked half-unclearly.
"Daddy!" said Max furious.
"Yes, you mean Mommy, Daddy? Anyone want to go with him?"
Jena suddenly let go of her hand. Juno clasped Silka's hand. "Okay, Jena's starting today as Daddy's son. Anywhere you can ask for Daddy's company!" silka Ketus.
Jena's mouth is round. He began to hesitate to choose between his mother or father.
"Here you go with Daddy!" juno. "Let Mommy just think of me" he added.
Jena feels caught in a dilemma between choosing her mother or her father. He saw the disappointed face of his mother. A feeling of confusion and fear filled his heart. After a moment of thought, Jena finally spoke in a trembling voice.
"Sorry, Mommy, Daddy. Jena can't choose between the two of you. Jena loves you both and wants you both to be happy. Jena wants us to be a happy family like we used to be" Jena said with a trembling heart.
Hearing her daughter's words, Silka felt sad and guilty. He realizes how difficult Jena's position is and tries to make sense of it. He realized his attitude that had just given an ultimatum to the boy who had not understood the heavy thing had made Jena feel anxious.
"Jena, Mommy forgive Mommy. You don't have to choose between Mommy and Daddy. It seems, Mommy and Daddy have to work together to mend our relationship and make you both happy. You are a very special child to both of us" Silka said in a soft voice, trying to calm Jena down.
Max, though disappointed by Jena's decision, understands that Jena's happiness and satisfaction are paramount. He wanted to show his support and willingness to cooperate with Silka.
"Jena, Daddy understands how you feel. We don't have to choose between Mommy and Daddy. We can be a happy family together. Daddy promised to do better for you and Juno" Max said in a heartfelt voice.
Jena sees her parents trying to understand and support her. She felt a little relieved knowing that they both cared and were ready to cooperate. Finally, she smiled a little.
"Thank you, Mommy, Daddy. Jena hopes we can mend our relationship and become a happy family again" Jena said in a soft voice.
Silka and Max look at each other, relieved and grateful that Jena gives them the opportunity to improve family relationships.
"Max, I seem to be too selfish of them. Honestly, I feel completely entitled to them because I feel the bitterness of being alone in conceiving them in a foreign country without anyone knowing me other than the kawab-friends in the dojo first. If you had been more honest from the beginning, I might have opened my heart in the first place."
Max closed his eyes. "Honestly, I'm disappointed in you. This hate is so great ...."
