21. Counteroffensive

Silka looked at the man holding her children with a worried face. "Why don't they come? What's going on?"

One of the men dressed in black replied in a flat tone, "It seems, they said that they are afraid of our faces. Moreover, they had never seen us before. I think that's why they're scared."

Silka hugged Juno and Jena tightly, trying to calm them down. "Son, don't be afraid. Daddy and Mommy are here, and we will definitely take care of you. After all, those are the people who work for your Daddy. So, you guys don't have to worry."

Jena and Juno were still crying, afraid of letting go of their mother's embrace. Max tried to approach them with a soft heart. "Son, look here too there's Daddy. They will not dare to you. You don't have to be afraid of them or anyone in this world. It's all in Daddy's hands."

Despite still crying, Jena and Juno started to subside a little. They looked towards their father and mother with faces full of doubt.

Silka rubbed the cheeks of her children. "Son, trust Mommy and Daddy. We won't let anyone hurt you."

Slowly, Jena and Juno let go of their embrace and looked at their mother and father with longing eyes. They felt a little relieved and understood that their mother and father would not leave them.

The man who was carrying the children had placed them gently on the floor. "Are you willing to come with us now?"

Jena and Juno looked at each other for a moment, then nodded their heads in doubt. They grabbed the hands of their mother and father, ready to go together.

Silka and Max gave warm smiles to their children. "Be prepared, we will leave this place. I can't bear to see you guys living in this place. I'm going to brush up on a place that's much more comfortable than this house" Max said softly.

They walked towards the door cautiously, but suddenly there was an explosive sound outside. Everyone was shocked and frightened. They seek refuge in the home.

Silka hugged her children tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks. "We need to get out of here, find a safer place."

"What happened Mommy?" ask Jena scared.

Max codes his men to check the situation out there. Max hugs Silka and the twins. "You don't be afraid! I'll protect you."

Afterwards, Max invites them to follow him behind. With a vigilant attitude, Max stood at the front, as the protective shield of his family.

Shortly thereafter, Tom is moved closer to Max and his family. "Boss, the Blackorchid Clan knows your family secrets, Boss!"

"They know where your family is here and will probably bring them. Luckily, you've been with them, so we can take Miss Silka and the twins to a safer place" Tom explained.

"How's your vehicle? Aman?" ask Max to make sure things are right.

"The vehicle we were carrying was badly damaged by their bombardment. That's what exploded, Boss. Looks like we should call the other members to give security to your family."

Max nodded. "Quick call them. I'll protect them as much as I can."
