SERUNI

SERUNI
CHAPTER 28 Unappreciated

Shakala turned towards Sayaka. Then smiled faintly as soon as he realized the face of the man beside him looked sweaty but a little pale. This was not the first time she had faced someone who was uncomfortable in an elevator. Shakala had experienced something similar when she invited two young mountain men to attend a training event at a hotel in Lombok.

"If you take the stairs, it can be an hour, Yaka." Shakala tried to calm Sayaka down.

Simultaneously, the elevator doors opened, four young women went inside and stood right in front of Sayaka and Shakala who were reflexively regressing their bodies. Time seems to be running longer. The man lowered his eyes. Hotpants just off the hip and a hollow top that showed off the smooth white backs of the women in front of it was no ordinary sight for Sayaka. He keeps on being in his heart.

Finally, they arrived at the 25th floor. Sayaka could not bear to go to the bathroom and spilled the contents of her stomach which had been held desperately. Plane drunk is not over, now it has been added drunk elevator. Sayaka really misses her garden, her river and her cattle pen. The aroma of Lavender flower therapy that welcomes her once inside the hotel, it still feels less soothing with the distinctive aroma of shit siti.

"Sir Major, I haven't been given the keys to the receptionist sister. I forgot to ask that too. How's this we're getting in?" Sayaka is beginning to get confused. When he met the receptionist he just said he had booked the room on his behalf. And after giving the Identity card, the woman who stood guard there only gave a card with the words 2569 to him which he immediately gave to Shakala.

"What key, Yaka?" Shakala knitted her forehead while stopping right in front of the room door bearing the number according to the key card she held.

"Make this open, Mr. Major." Sayaka pointed at the doorknob that was in front of her. A little confused by his observations. Because there was no keyhole he found there.

"Oh ...." Shakala directly stick the card key there. Then the man casually turned the doorknob to make the room wide open.

"This is where you rest in Surabaya, Ka. Apparently Seruni wants to make you comfortable. This hotel includes the best hotel here," explained Shakala with a little envy with the luck of Sayaka who got the heart and also the extraordinary attention of Seruni.

Sayaka did not answer Shakala's words. He went into the room first. The man was still looking for an electrical outlet that could make the lights there turn on.

Noticing Sayaka's confusion, Shakala immediately entered. Insert the key card into a small box not far from the door. The lights and room coolers were on.

"It's automatic, Yaka. If the lights are too bright or you think the ac is too cold, you set yourself to use the remote." Shakala pointed at the two remotes on the bedside nightstand.

Again Sayaka did not pay attention to Shakala's instructions. He was busy looking for a toilet. Feelings are increasingly urgent to be resolved. His eyes were then fixed on a glass room that had just been passed. Everything that was inside there could be clearly seen from where it stood right now. A bathup, shower set, toilet seat and one sink. A fairly large room.

"I haven't pressured his crew. Why is the water already lit up," said Sayaka while shivering in horror at the thought of a subtle spirit who was waiting for the hotel room.

Shakala was still waiting outside. It seemed like he had to tell Seruni that right now he couldn't possibly leave Sayaka alone. Not a derogatory or degrading intent, maybe a simple guesthouse will far make Sayaka comfortable rather than the hotels that Seruni currently provides.

On the other hand, Subroto still faithfully listened to Seruni who told him about his service experience very excitedly. It felt like there was almost no pause for Subroto to just ask. There, the man can only singleness smile as an expression of gratitude. Departing with a sense of hurt and a broken heart, at least this time Seruni came home to bring happiness. About the choice of soul mate that still stuck in his heart, let it be discussed later slowly.

"Why can you be like Bang Shakala? Did you call him?" search Seruni, begin to move on to another topic of conversation.

Subroto nodded his head. "Yes, Ser. This father fits Shakala. Talk to him it's connecting. I feel like this father is young. Her spirit reminded Dad when assigned to the area before getting to know your mother. It's still a long career for the boy. The boy's future is quite bright. And most importantly, he started without his father's interference. What Shakala achieved now, pure hard work he sincerely served the country," praised Subroto without hesitation.

Seruni began to understand the meaning of the father. As a man with a military background that is quite ingrained, of course in the small heart of Subroto longed in the genealogy of his successor's family there is also a soldier. There is no way she put that hope in Seruni because she is a woman who in Subroto upbringing as high as any education will have to be willing to leave a career and purely serve the husband.

"Father had no intention of matchmaking Bang Shakala with Seruni, right? I know exactly what answer Seruni if indeed the intention of the father. Without prejudice to the respect and affection of Seruni with Father, the soul mate remains Seruni who chose, Well. Because Seruni will undergo," said Seruni. Resolute yet does not leave any courtesy.

"I'm here, Ser. Even since you left for duty, I've met you on purpose. Apparently not a soul mate yet. Want Dad, you don't want to. I won't force it either. Who is living you. I can only hope and pray. Whichever you choose, it's best for you. Can understand and understand there is a big responsibility that you will take after this Father is not there. Our lives don't stop at you and whoever your husband will be. Dad died, inevitably you have to continue the business. Or will many families who lose their livelihood from the backbone in PHK because our efforts are closed," explained Subroto at length.

Seruni fell silent. What his father had just said just now, slightly moved his heart to think. I don't want what he has to continue. As a child, he was not only a hope for Subroto, but also for hundreds of employees.

"Ser, think carefully about your relationship with Sayaka. He couldn't have left his area. And you will also have to return to life here because of the responsibility of Father," Subroto said.

Seruni looked dreamy. For now, he did not know what to answer.
