Meet at the Cafe

Things are going on normally, at least that's what Delia and Jayden had in mind. Jayden and Bintang continued filming their show at home, while Delia continued her flurry to open her business.

“I don't want to continue another conversation before you explain about the gossip, Del.” Mellysa closed the map that Delia had thrust on her. With his leisure he sucked strawberry milkshake which a while ago the cafe waiter delivered to their table.

“I agreed to meet you to discuss business,” Delia said.

“No ... No ... No ... I won't help you until you tell me about the gossip.” Mellysa is still standing.

“That's just gossip, Mel, come on. You promised to help me build my own business, right?”

“Gossip is a pending fact Del.”

Delia sighed harshly before starting her story. “You have to promise, this thing only the two of us know. Don't spread it to anyone.”

“You don't trust me?”

“I ask you promise, that's it!”

“OK ... Okay ... Yes.”

“Iya what?”

“Iya I promise that our chat today will not spread.”

“You remember when we came home from college first, we often hang out at the cafe?” ask Delia. “Remember the cafe singer there?”

“Em ... Forget to remember, why?”

“Name Jayadi. I'm dating her.”

“What the ... Why didn't you tell me that time?”

“I'm afraid my parents know that I'm dating the same ... Yes, you definitely know what it means.”

“Terus?”

“After graduation, I said to my father if I wanted to marry him.”

“Papa you must have said not dong?”

“You're right. But I chose to stay with Jayadi. I left my parents and my family behind to be with Jayadi.

“Yes Lord Del, you made such a decision? Is that so special about the cafe singer compared to your own parents?”

“I know I was wrong. But how else. Jayadi gave me love that my parents couldn't give. From childhood until I graduated college, we could count how many times we met. My parents are busy with their own business. I even doubt if they think I exist.”

“See to I meet Jayadi. He gave me an abundance of love. His attention, his love, and—“

“Enough!” cut Mellysa. “I don't want to hear your and Jayadi's love story. I want to know about the gossip.”

“We are finally married. We were living in a small, hot rented house. But Jayadi never troubled me. Instead, he always gave me whatever I wanted. Even before I say it.” Delia rubbed a necklace with a swan pendant Jayden gave her.

“At that time I had a birthday, Jayadi sang a song for me. Without us expecting, the song went viral on youtube.”

Mellysa closed her mouth which opened automatically due to her shock. “What is Jayadi Jayden?”

Delia nodded.

“So you're Jayden's wife?” Mellysa's tone of voice rose, causing Delia to panic.

“Do not firmer! You want to make a scene here?!” Delia slightly glared towards Mellysa.

“Then Star?”

“That's why, for a reason I can't say, they should get married.”

“Yes God, poor luck you Del.”

“So can we talk about business now?” tanya Delia reminded him of what they were meeting for now.

When the sun reaches its peak, Mellysa breaks down first because there is work waiting for her.

Delia was about to catch up with Mellysa when a cafe waitress stopped her.

“Sorry Ma'am, there is our customer waiting for Mbak at the table over there.”

Delia followed the direction the waiter pointed out. A middle-aged man was sitting there staring intently at him.

Awfully, Delia stood up and walked towards the man, then sat down before him.

“I'm surprised to see you're alive,” said the man.

“So Papa, that means you expect me to be dead so?” ask Delia cynically.

Arga tightened his fist until his knuckle turned white.

“Sorry if I let you down. I am still living a healthy and happy life now.”

“How arrogant are you. You think I don't know if you're currently the metrosexual guy's cheating?”

“Jay is not a metrosexual man, and I am not his mistress. My wife!”

“You're proud to have a husband who likes to preen like that? Selling looks to rake in rupiah?”

“At least Jay is a warm man, a man who gives his time to family. Not a man who is just busy panning for rupiah and leaving his children alone in his luxury home.”

“Cih, the man is responsible for providing facilities to his family. How do you think you can get your pocket money, car, cell phone, and school fees to college if not from my sweat Delia?! You think money just came down from the sky?! Nah! There must be some effort done. You enjoy it too, right?”

“Do Papa know Delia's favorite food? Does Papa know Delia's favorite cartoon? Do you know what time Delia woke up and what time Delia fell asleep? What Papa knows—“

“For what to remember all that! All of it is already arranged by our household assistant.”

“Thats it! Thats problem. Papa is always busy making money out there to let Papa's children be nurtured and raised by household assistants. Mom and Dad never took the time for us. For us, home assistant is our family.”

“Don't forget, who paid them. Don't think their affection is genuine. They are so because I paid them!”

Delia shook her head hearing the stone-headed man before her.

“If there is nothing else you want to talk about, I'm sorry,” Delia said as she stood up.

“So that's the life you chose? A man who is not even loyal to his partner? Marry a woman who both likes to preen and like to show her body in public? Cih, they really are one frequency!”

“It looks like you already know a lot about my life? Your informant is really great,” Delia said without looking at Arga in the slightest, “but yes, it's a pity that I have to let you down again. You're right, I'll choose that man.” Then he went from there.

Delia got into a taxi parked not far from the cafe. He sat down violently, then rubbed his dewy eyes. He was happy to meet his father, but it was not such a meeting that he expected. A warm hug, asking each other the news or ... Ah, none of that could have happened.

Meanwhile, at about the same time, Arga just sat in the back of his car. In front of him was his personal driver, and also a man who was his assistant.

Arga leaned his head back and closed his eyes.

“Sorry Sir, if I may advise, you should speak more gently to him. Miss a woman, her heart is softer.” The man in front of Arga started talking.

“You taught me how to talk to my own child so? He was really stone-headed!”

Just like you. Inner assistant Arga.

“Why doesn't he understand that I told him to go home.” Arga is still grumbling. “She even boasted about the man!”

“Sorry Sir, but from the way you speak, you are by no means implying that you are sending Miss Delia home Mr.” Assistant Arga commented on the remarks of his superior.

“Shut up! Take care of your own work. And remember, tell your people to keep an eye on Delia.”

“Good Mr.”

The car drove towards one of the skyscrapers which is the Business center of Arga Wijaya.
