Thank You For Expelling Me

“What is this?” jayden asked half-screaming while splitting the crowd.

Jayden saw at least 4 people there. Resa and his mother, and two others who turned their backs on him.

“You're evil!” shout Resa. “You are not my father! My father is dead!” shouted again.

“Basic of a disobedient child! It seems to have been a success, want to forget your own parents yes?” The man who turned his back to Jayden replied in an equally high tone.

“It's been a Mas, I beg you. We're celebrating Resa's graduation, don't make a fuss.” Sri, Resa's mother looks groggy.

Mas's? So he's that guy? Inner Jayden.

Jayden wanted to break up the dispute, not for them, but for Resa, whom he considered to be his own sister.

Jayden went up on the podium. He picked up a guitar and started strumming it. Attention is now on him. Although already 3 heads, there are still many teenagers who idolize it.

The invited guest, who was initially watching the showdown, now turned to watch Jayden's performance. They both sang the song Jayden performed.

The atmosphere grew increasingly boisterous, making the person who had been involved in the dispute speechless. His voice was inferior to the sound.

Resa brought her mother into the house. His mother was shocked and beaten. After all this time, why did the man return to his life. He really came at the wrong time.

The shadow of the past lingered in his mind.

“What is this Mas?” ask Sri then.

“Declaration!” answer the man.

“But why?” Sri who was breastfeeding her baby sobbed. The baby even cried.

“Have signed it, don't ask much. Take it easy, I will still be responsible for your children!”

And it's all just a lie! After Sri left the house, not a penny she received from her ex-husband. And he came back asking for the favor of his gift? Which gift?

“You are indeed a child does not know it is lucky!” the man entered the house. Followed by a woman with a manor dress up behind her. “I've been hard-earned to send you to school, finance your lives, but what's the payoff? I'm just asking for help to inject funds into my company that's in bankruptcy. And you don't want to help your own father Resa?!”

Resa's upset. The man did not want to go home either. His two sisters even looked scared. They did not recognize the man. His memory of the figure of 'father' did not exist at all.

“Listen dear Mr. Lukman, after we were driven out of your house it was not a dime we received from you!” Resa spoke in a high tone.

“Do not lie! Ask mother! I give money to you every month! Say Sri!” Lukman still speaks in a high tone.

Sri looked sharply at Lukman. “Resa is right Mas, I have never received a penny from you since we divorced.”

Lukman turned his head towards the woman beside him. “You transferred to the correct account number right?” tanyanya gently.

“Of course,” reply in women.

“Rekening? What account?” tanya Sri, “I don't have an account!”

Lukman turned his head again towards the woman beside him. The one looked at looked very nervous. Seeing him, Lukman immediately knew the root of the problem.

“So you never send money to Sri?” ask Lukman.

“A-I ...”

“Jawab!” sentak Lukman's.

“Why is Mas snapping at me?!” Instead of answering, the woman made a drama. “If Mas don't believe me, I'd better go!” The woman sulked away leaving Lukman.

Lukman soon followed his wife.

Delia who had seen the family drama entered the house after the departure of Lukman. He approached Resa and her family who still looked shocked.

“Still have come Kak,” said Resa lirih. He then introduced his family members to Delia.

“Who is Sa?” ask Delia.

“The one who claimed to be my father,” replied Resa.

“She's Mom's ex-husband, son. Her father's children.”

Delia quiet. It is certain that this man was the man who had kicked Jayden out of his adoptive parents' house many years ago.

The atmosphere outside began to calm down. Resa is out to greet her friends and celebrate their graduation together. Along with that, Jayden went into the house. Apparently he was looking for the whereabouts of Delia.

“I know. I'm actually proud because you can make the atmosphere back conducive,” replied Delia.

He approached Jayden. “Nak, thank you for coming,” he said in a very clean tone.

“I came not for you, but for Resa,” replied Jayden coldly.

“Jay ...” Delia reminded Jayden to speak more politely. He then turned to Sri. “Sorry Jay Bu, dia—“

“I understand Nak,” cut Sri, “wounds that I incised are too deep, and it is impossible to forgive. And sadly, the child I kicked out turned out to be the same child who saved our family,”.

“Is he that man?” jayden asked without looking at Sri.

“Yes, he is mas Lukman, with his wife.”

“For what did he mess up at Resa's graduation party?”

“The company is bankrupt, he needs additional capital. He asks Resa to help him. Maybe he knew Resa was on the rise from television.”

“Ck. Not very shameless. What right does he have to ask for money from a child he has abandoned?”

“He said to return the favor. He said he gave us some money every month through his wife. But really, even though I never received it.”

Jayden speechless. He glanced at Sri. There was a stroke of sadness there. Heart's out.

“Bu,” says Jayden.

Sri.

“Thank you.”

“Thank you for what?” sri asked not to understand.

“Thank you for expelling me that time. I can meet my wife here.” Jayden turned to look at Delia, and kissed her forehead.

Delia smiled.

***

The party is over. Jayden and Delia are home.

“So, you've forgiven his mother Resa, Jay?” delia asked as they were on their way.

“Entah Del, look at it, I feel sorry,” Jayden replied.

“Bu Sri has got her karma Jay, and now her ex-husband has also gained karma. His company is bankruptcy.”

“The company belongs to my adoptive father. He built it. Raised him. I'm sad that the company went bankrupt Del.”

“So what will you do?”

“Let me think,” replied Jayden.

Delia nodded. He had complete trust in the man beside him.

Without feeling they had arrived before the gates of Delia's house. Delia's hand was already moving to open the door, but Jayden immediately stopped her.

“Del.”

“Ya?” Delia turned.

“I Love you.”

“Love you more Jay.”

“Live three more weeks we get married, after which we will stay together.”

Delia smiled. “Hopefully everything is smooth yes Jay.”

Jayden nodded.
