The meeting!
"Well!.. The misfortune!" shocked when I realized the clock was showing at 11 pm, even though I had an appointment at 1 pm with Erik to discuss the research report.
Because it is related to the central government, the research report yesterday must be submitted immediately so that there is a follow-up in the future. Some of the reports that are my job are done I just put together with Erik's report.
My phone screen lyrics on the nightstand saw a message from Erik and Jenny. Several times Jenny tried to contact but I was still sleeping because I was not feeling well, immediately I contacted her so she did not worry.

"Sorry, just called. I fell asleep for a long time and just woke up this afternoon". continued to give an excuse because last night after returning from the cafe, my body felt weak.
"It's okay.. What matters is that you're okay". Jenny then told me why she kept calling me because her father asked her to take dinner at his house, as well as telling me directly about our relationship.
"Tomorrow at night I seem to spare, how?". After agreeing on the time, I parted and closed the call.
I'd better hurry before, before it's too late to meet Erik at the downtown office.
Before taking a shower I sent a message to Erik first.

At exactly 1pm I arrived at the headquarters where Erik worked. Upon arrival, the security immediately recognized me and ushered in a meeting room attended by several historians, and parties from the government.

"Eh bro's.. Here for a moment" Erik pulled me out of the meeting room and walked into the empty room.
"Sheen.. There are some officials who come, I beg you to let me explain all the presentations" he asked, maybe he wanted to show his efforts so far in researching the ruins site.
I remember some time ago he was confused because of the many budget cuts in the research division. Therefore Erik wants to give the best results from his hard work at a meeting that will take place soon.
"Oh safe.. You know that I'm lazy to lead a presentation, if there's a question from anyone and you can't answer, let me be later".
Erik agreed, his face heard the real answer he already knew what I was going to answer, and of course I would agree to it because it lightened my burden as well.
The meeting began and was started by a speech from government officials who were sent to attend the meeting. Erik was used to presenting and cramming the latest information from the site he was researching to everyone present.
The process of questioning and debate began to be fierce and faced calmly by Erik, occasionally he threw some questions to me to add the information that I had dug and traced the truth.
"You guys don't mess around, we (the government) are not messing around and the budget is also limited to things like this". Firmly an official who had been looking for a gap to reject further research.

In the future, researchers from all fields will continue the excavation to identify everything contained in the ruins and to find the original form of the building.
After the meeting, Erik and I stopped by the coffee shop to rest and chat about the continuation of the excavation and also the problems that are often faced today.
The pressure came from various angles, there were two factions that were supportive and that were not supportive due to budgetary reasons like earlier. He can only explain if the site will certainly have a positive impact as long as it is managed in the right way as well.
It won't be easy. Erik believes that there will be some people who will mess up, and he must always be vigilant with all the bad possibilities that will happen.
