This afternoon after the registration of the campus, I headed to the parking lot where Jenny picked me up to take me to her house for dinner together.
Passing through the rectorate building, I walked straight to the parking lot located beside the education program building, seen a red car that is usually driven by Jenny parked in the area.
"I'm the one who drives.." I volunteered to take the wheel, it wouldn't feel good if Jenny had to take it.
"Let's go in" he said.
"You've been cape all day, so I'm the one who brought it" he continued.
"All right." I answered briefly.
Out of the parking lot he gased towards the border of the central city towards his home. It was not felt during the trip we talked a lot of things, and I told about the registration on campus that had been paid in full by his father, he said, which surprised me even though I knew from the beginning that Jenny's father would pay the entire tuition fee.
"Oh yeah, your dad likes sweet food?" ask him who is now focused on paying attention to the road because he wants to enter the toll gate.
"Looks like.. Why the hell?" tanyanya is back.
"Ah no, this is me bring cake made by Mr. Sudirman, he was forcing me to bring this for you also for Dad".
"That cake yesterday?.. Wahhhh, I must also like" he said impatiently want to immediately feel the pleasure of artificial cakes from the cafe Atelier.
"Patience Miss pretty" my tease to him who began not to focus on driving and glanced at the cake parcel that I brought.
"Isa.. Fuck up!"
I laughed at his 7-year-old-like behavior. Tiny and adorable but I like his unusual behavior he shows to others. Maybe I just know.
"Lately I have been dreaming a lot" I told him about the same dream repeatedly since the climb to the Danger site in southern Cianjur that we recently visited with Erik.
Although there is no memory of the whole dream, there are some memories of the codex and a woman who kept an ancient book in a box that was tightly locked.
Jenny listened carefully to the stories about my very vague dreams. Even after waking up from sleep and trying to recall, the whole incident in my dream looked very faint.
"A very strange dream, does it have anything to do with the symbols we see on the site?" Jenny was also curious about the events in my dream.
"Somehow, there don't seem to be any of those symbols. I can't remember it either".
"Come" I complained, maybe it had nothing to do with it at all.
"Yes already.. Maybe it's just a sleeping flower that may not matter". He tried to calm me down.
"Maybe so.."
Cars began to turn into an elite residential area, most of which were semi-european.
"Where's your house?" ask me while looking at the magnificent house that I can only see in soap operas or movies.
"Prophey dear.. will be here soon".
Set us up at a gate that connects the spacious front yard with a house no less large than the one I saw along the way.
"Hey.. Don't dumb. Let's go in" Invite him to enter the house whose front door is also big like a royal palace.
Jenny grabbed my arm and walked in to some IRT working in the house.
"Is there a Bi?" Ask Jenny to the housemaid.
"Master was meeting outside, telling me you were coming home at 5pm". The answer is then to retreat to the kitchen.
My gaze circled around the magnificent room with white walls without the slightest stain. A few large photos were plastered around the corner, and Jenny's childhood photos made me a little interested in seeing them. He wore a pink lace suit with an artificial wing behind his shirt while holding a stick with the tip of a red heart-shaped stick.
Oh, my God, that's adorable kid.
"Wait a minute, I want to change clothes first" and he went up the stairs to the second floor to the room.
Confused alone in a room this big, I walked to the back of his house which had a small garden with shady trees under a mango tree there was a long bench with a brown wooden table.
It's cozy.
"Sheen.. Shean.. Let's get up" his arm patted me on the shoulder.
"Haha.. Just let it go.. Looks like he's exhausted". Her voice was heavy, sounding like someone I knew.
I woke up and yawned because I was still sleepy and Jenny was right in front of me watching me fall asleep in the garden chair.
"Emhh Jenny, good morning" I said so, not knowing what time it was.
"Haha. Good afternoon, Shean" said the man behind Jenny.
"Huh afternoon?"
"Eh.. Sorry Om, uh sir. " I said stunt.
My half-conscious attitude due to drowsiness made these two people laugh so hard that some servants glanced at the three of us.
"Ma.. Sorry sir, I overslept hehe" a horse grin no longer knows what to do in front of the figure of a successful businessman whose name is heard everywhere, but he just smiles at my usual behavior.
"It looks like you're so sleepy Shean" asked her pleasantries and sat on the bench on the right side.
"Don't know it.. It's very comfortable here".
"You are this.. Left for a while was just straight to sleep" Jenny responded.
"Haha.. Right as you said just now. This place does make anyone feel at home, especially in the weather like now". The lush trees covered the sun and protected everyone below, if it wasn't for Jenny and her father, it seemed like I would have fallen asleep long into the night on the bench.
"Oh yes sir, thank you for paying in full for the entrance fee to the university, I spoke with the university if all fees have been paid".
"Thank you very much, one day I will definitely return my goodwill to you". I bowed my respects as a form of gratitude to Mr. Renaldy Azkara who had given me the opportunity to continue my studies and he also wanted to give me a job in his company.
The gratitude I have is not enough, not to mention that he also blesses my relationship with Jenny, her beautiful daughter is also kind. No matter how much I try to repay her services to me, it may never be enough at any time.
"Not to think about it, you calm down and study as much, I'm happy with a hardworking guy like you".
"Of course, it also calms me down to give my son this life to live with you" the father grabbed Jenny's shoulder, looking so much affection for his daughter.
"What the hell is Pah..." Jenny's face red blushed in embarrassment due to her father's uncontrolled speech.
"Oh yes, before dinner, I will show you something" Mr. Renaldy took to a room on the second floor next to his library.
Jenny had told him that her father loved antiques and that in his house there was a large collection of historical objects that were legal for anyone to own because they were purchased from an official auction.
Entering the gallery room, there are some very large paintings displayed on the wall with a frame that is no less interesting to coat each painting.
Some of the antiques he has can I estimate the type and price, because I have studied such types at university.
What intrigued me most was the range of ancient books made with papyrus paper that was about 1,000 years old, often called codices.
"You seem to be very interested in ancient manuscripts like that huh" Ask me who is still looking at the rows of old books displayed in a closet with iron walls and the front is attached to a thick glass of shiny clean.
"Yes sir.. I have 4 ancient codices left by my late grandfather" I explained about my interest in ancient objects from the grandfather who is also a former researcher of archaeological sites.
While conversing with her, I saw a mysterious, medium-sized box that was displayed separately in a glass cabinet.
"If you can tell, what box is that, sir? just the first time I saw it".question I was curious about the box also the contents contained in it.
Mr. Renaldy also explained the origin of the object that has been in this house since the colonial era. Because it was once the home of the top of the Dutch kingdom that once colonized this country.
Before the house was bought in 1973 by Mr Renaldy, he renovated the house and found the box, but it could not be opened because there was no key to open it, If it is opened forcibly fear that the object in the box will be destroyed. There are some cases like that, forcibly opening boxes of ancient relics and objects in it become damaged so worthless.
I don't know why the box looks familiar, but I don't know where I've seen it.
