Melinda got home and took her wallet. He ignored questions from the housekeepers asking about Mrs Rosa's condition. They were all worried about her in-laws, but no one cared about her.
It feels like Melinda wants to scream now, but she is still trying to be patient because there are still many things she has to do rather than vent emotions stored in the heart. Returning the good-natured sister's money was one of them.
He went back up to the taxi driver who was waiting for him in front of the house and headed to the hospital. Along the way his tears came back. Fortunately God lowered the water from the sky to disguise his cries, otherwise he would be the attention of other riders, it could also be mistaken for a strange person crying along the way.
"Sir, I'm waiting to see if I stay?" ask the motorcycle driver to Melinda.
"If you want to find another passenger, I'll be here, sir. Let me find another ojek." Melinda wiped her tears.
Mr. motorcycle taxi driver who has a child the age of Melinda was sorry to see his passengers. She didn't know Melinda was crying all the way home and back to the hospital. But it's not his capacity to find out and ask about his passenger's problems.
"No Ma'am. I can wait if you want to."
"Oh then wait a minute, sir. I turned this money around first." Melinda ran into the hospital lobby and looked for the nurse who had lent her the money. He was able to find it immediately because before Melinda came home, the nurse gave information that she was guarding the registration.
He immediately returned the fare used to go home and said a lot of thanks. It was going to go straight back to the taxi man and go home, but Melinda was curious about the condition of her in-laws. She decided to briefly look at the situation of the woman who gave birth to her husband.
Unfortunately what he saw was very painful. From the window facing the hallway, Melinda saw Candra chatting with Cici, even occasionally they joked. It felt like she could not see how intense Cici's gaze was on her husband.
Melinda turned her steps, she ran and straight out of the hospital to return home. The motorcycle taxi driver who had driven her was still in front, not leaving her alone as her husband Candra did.
"Why is it?" asked the taxi driver who saw Melinda's face covered in tears.
"Sir, can you please take you to a quiet place? Wherever sir, it's important to be quiet." Melinda wanted to calm down.
"Oh well, Ma'am. I know the place."
Melinda cried and wiped her tears with the end of the cardigan she was wearing when she came home earlier. Arriving in a fairly quiet park, Melinda vented all her heartache and disappointment in tears. He did not care about anything even the look of pity from the taxi driver who delivered him.
Once satisfied, he was escorted back home by the same motorcycle taxi driver. Melinda thanked him a lot, because right now only the taxi driver cared about him.
The second day her in-laws were treated, Melinda was not allowed to visit Candra at all. Even until Rosa returns home and Cici stays beside Rosa, Melinda is not allowed to see her in-laws either.
Candra grew quieter, even just talking when saying what prohibition she should not do.
"Mas, lunch is ready, will I get you?" melinda asked as Candra walked into their room and changed her clothes.
"No need. I ate the same meal as Cici." Candra finished swapping her old shirt for a new one, she came out of the room without looking at her.
Melinda rubs her chest. Again tears came to see her husband's departure. Her eyes were even sore when the water came out of the petals from crying too much during the week.
He catches up with Candra and crosses paths with Cici who just came out of her room.
Melinda scrunched her forehead. The mama? Cici said that my mom was sleeping. Since when did the girl call her in-laws with mama? Hasn't it been aunt? Why change?
Not yet had he asked, Candra came to bring medicine and gave it to Cici. "This later don't forget to drink, yes, Ci. I've got a meeting with a business associate, so maybe it'll be the night you get home, you don't forget about food and medicine."
Melinda freezes. He should have been in Cici's position, taking care of his sick father-in-law. But why now Cici is taking care of her in-laws, and Candra doesn't even involve her in this at all.
"Good, Mas. I will remember to take care of my mother. You be careful, yeah." Cici tidying Candra tie.
If you say jealous, of course Melinda jealous with the interaction of two people in front of her. Very friendly, not like just friends.
Candra only glanced at Melinda without greeting. He just walked out of the house. His heart was still upset that Melinda made his mother crash, even though it was unintentional.
He did not care who took care of his mother, which was important for him to recover as quickly as before. So when yesterday he was asked to be with Cici alone in terms of taking care of the mother, Candra immediately agreed.
Cici smiled sweetly. "Candra's a very handsome man, yes. Looks charismatic once when viewed from behind, uh actually from the front as well anyway. So want to lean on that sturdy back."
Melinda stared in disbelief, Cici praising her husband in front of her? Praising the man in front of his wife is that polite? He thinks not at all.
"Sir, you know I'm Mas Candra's wife?" melinda asked in a repressed tone a sign she was holding back emotions.
"Yes, then why? I'm telling the truth." Cici felt innocent after praising Candra in front of Melinda.
Melinda took a deep breath. "Mbak should be able to appreciate my position as Mas Candra dong's wife!" This time he raised his tone from before.
"I appreciate Ma'am Melinda really, it just says that Mas Candra is dashing. Where's the fault?"
"Geez!" Melinda chooses to turn around and leave Cici instead of getting emotional with the girl.
Arriving at the room, Melinda slammed her body into the bed and covered her face with both palms. Why doesn't anyone care about his feelings?
I do not know how long she fell asleep after reprimanding Cici who was blatantly praising her husband in front of her. When I woke up, the sky was dark. Maybe it's magrib. He left the room after washing his face.
From the direction of her room-in-law, there was a voice of people laughing and telling stories with excitement. Slowly, he stepped over to Rosa's room and peeked at who the person inside was.
Cici's hand appeared to be coiled around Candra's waist, and unfortunately, Candra did not let go of the hand at all. Even Rosa did not rebuke at all, but it was clear that what Cici did was not the right thing.
He closed his eyes, resisting emotional turmoil.
"Mr Melinda, what's there? How come you're not in?" cici asked when she saw Melinda peeking at the door.
Melinda was shocked and immediately opened her eyes. He saw Cici staring at him with a cynical smile.
